move orders so that they are not considered by routing1100%

    Title:
move orders so that they are not considered by routing
    Summary:
It will be possible to move orders to a type of resource that routing does not consider.
    Content:

Our client handles suspended orders that can go several days without attending.

We need to be able to separate these orders from their original buckets and pass them to another one called "suspended" or something similar without routing taking these orders into account.

They are currently handled in a bucket but, routing when considered, it obviously routes them again.

The client needs to be able to locate in some type of resource the orders that are suspended and that are not routed by the system. They will manually locate them in the corresponding technician.

This is possible ?? Is there any alternative?

    Thank you.

    Warehouse Activities

    Warehouse Activities
    Summary:
Choose the best warehouse (activities) according to the route of the tech
    Content:

    Hi everyone,

I explain better the customer requirements:

The OFSC have to choose the correct warehouse activities (linked with the activity) in according with the technician route and travel time optimization.

I create four warehouse activities (there are four customer warehouse, with coord x, y) linked (link start/before) with the customer activity that needs inventories. Obviously, Routing assign first the four warehouse activity, and, at the end the "customer" activity.

Is possible to cancel, delete, or put in not-ordered the last (or the first) three warehouse activity with an "automatic process"? I thought to message scenario, but i don't know if i can "write" code (a banal if) in the body of message with "set property" deliver channel.

    Thanks all

    Domenico

    Hi !!

Our client at the time of selecting the next work order, needs to be able to confirm through a message or alert the data of the order that you have selected just when you press the send button.

    https://www.screencast.com/t/YI7ezcqj5

At the moment of pressing the send button, a message of confirmation of the data and the order that I select will be shown, in case you chose a mistake you can return to the previous screen (end order) and select the correct order.

    Hello,

Our client is using the identify activity by to randomly select work orders.

    https://www.screencast.com/t/icZwGqM7j5zw

This field only comes out at the moment of finishing the order and from there the technician can choose which order to attend.

When suspending the order does not come out

Can we make use of this, in the navigation along the screens?

    Thank you.

    Reviewing Routing with your Stakeholders

    Summary:
Best practice suggestions for Reviewing Routing with your stakeholders
    Content:

    Hi everybody.

I wanted to post a topic to discuss making changes to Routing Plans/Profiles in OFSC.

As Product owners of OFSC, me and my team are responsible for ensuring our organisation get the best out of the system. Routing as im sure everybody is aware is a big part of this and gives us great opportunities to obtain efficiency for our back office planners and field teams.

We've been using OFSC for over a year now, and whilst we have implemented Routing and are gaining some efficiencies, I want to develop a process where we proactively review Routing logic based on KPIs and the routes that routing produces.

To that point, i wanted to ask the members of this community who utilise Routing and regularly review their logic to share some best practice and good ideas on how to do this. Things i'd like to consider:

    - Best ways to replicate "production like" situations in a test environment

    - What KPIs you are using to illustrate what "success" looks like from Routing

    - Tools and Techniques for recording Routing changes/outputs

    - How you manage the expectations of your stakeholders

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    KR

    Chris

    Good Morning ,

Currently we have 10 orders visible by technician.

    View image :

    https://www.screencast.com/t/gIrt4KQTEe2O

We require that the technician can randomly start any of these 10 orders.

That is to say that from this list of 10 orders can start the 8 then go to the 2 then 4 and so on.

    This is possible.??

    Routing to Unscheduled Bucket/Technician1
Topic posted June 26, 2019 by Austin KellerRed Ribbon: 250+ Points, tagged Routing / Optimization
    Title:
    Routing to Unscheduled Bucket/Technician
    Summary:
Recurring Routing to push activities to buckets as "unscheduled"
    Content:

    Hello,

We currently create all activities to a "master" bucket. The bucket runs a recurring routing plan to push activities to children buckets(managers), and each child bucket has recurring routing to children resources(technicians).

Every "add/move" triggers a message scenario to "unschedule" the activity assigned to a bucket.  The managers then manually run routing to assign the activities to technicians.

We are experiencing issues with routing activities that are linked to activities already routed to children buckets and "unscheduled".

This appears to be due to routing to the current date and time, when the linked activity is unscheduled.

Can we routed activities to children buckets as "unscheduled", so the linked scheduling constraints (same day) is not violated?

    Thank you, Austin
