    Hi,

    I'm looking to see if anyone is able to share some examples of Mobility Plugins they've either written, or use on a daily basis. I'm not looking for code examples, more just a use case of why you wrote the plugin and what gaps it fills. Ideally, where you're using the OFS Mobile iOS application

    I'm looking at calling the OFS Barcode scanner so if anyone has anything they can share on this, it would be really useful.

    Hello Experts,

    Hope you all are doing well.

    We are currently working on a use case that might require your assistance.

    The operations team which is handling the core manage application wants to send the picture to Field Service agents. To achieve that we added one property in which the field agent can attach the image while creating the activity in core manage. The problem which we are currently facing is that Field Service Agents are not able to download the attached image instead it is a shown as an image having very small dimensions which cannot be downloaded. It would be great if you could help us in figuring out what could be the best possible way of achieving this.

    Assign work to group of technician

    Electrical skilled technicians are in different groups. During activity assignment all or 3 or 4 technicians should be assigned with the activity.

    Hi Gurus,

    There are list of technicians under two different group. In that there are few technicians working under same workskills (eg. Electrician)

    When an activity is created in the bucket and during routing, it should get assigned to 3 or 4 technicians from different teams.

    This can be done only while grouping all the technician in a single group and assigning it to them, but how can we do without grouping and assigning to a list of technicians.

    The Agents not able to view the activities in the beginning of the day

    Hello Experts,

    We are currently assigning the activities to the field agent, after the activities being assigned, the Field Agent logs in to the application to view the activity.

    Currently, if the Resource's working time is from 8 am to 5 pm, if the Field Agent logs in to the System at 7 am he is not able the see the activities on the given day. These activities become visible only after 8 am.

    Such a scenario begs the question, By when can the Field resources see the activities assigned to them for the given day. Consider the scenario when the activities are already being assigned to the Field Agent a day prior to the day when they need to execute it.

    Could this Scenario is to do with the fact that we have put a field restriction in User Type: Hide All Activity: Starting from Tomorrow.

    Hello Experts,

    We are currently testing the extensibility of Team creation in Oracle Field Service Cloud.

    We are currently working on a scenario in which we have a 2 member team created in Field Service Cloud. (Resource 1: Team Lead, Resource 2: Assisting)

    The Resources do not reach the customer location with the same vehicle. 

    Since the Assisting Activity is a repeating Activity, we cannot the add the Customer location every time the activity is assigned to the team lead and also the list of tasks he has to perform.

    Is there a possible way the Assisting Resource can view the Activities of the Team Lead for the given day, via Mobile Application

    Does Oracle Field Service Cloud have functionality which can automatically start activities when a technician arrives at the activity location? Our customer has a desire to use this.
