    Hi,

    I have a requirement where we want questions to be posted to technicians through collaboration. Let say, dispatcher asks a group of 5 technicians, if an activity can be picked up by them with options as yes/no/may be, of which 3 say Yes , 2 say No. This information needs to be collected and collated, for necessary action to be taken. Can this be achievable?

    I'm struggling to find any information in the Collaboration documents around the retention of chats and images.

    Does anyone know:

    • How long collaboration chats are retained for?
    • If there is a storage limit for image data?

    The context for this is that we're looking at our field resources being able to send a central team images of the work done for some of their completed activities.  As we use an in house app instead of mobility for our field activity management, we can't add a property directly to the job without some development work to enable the in house app to take photos and pass them into OFSC.

    Within OFSC Collaboration, it is possible for people using the Mobility app or Mobility web page to easily attach images to any chats they are participating in.  However from the Manage web interface there is no visible functionality to attach images.

    As a workaround the mobility web interface can be opened in a desktop browser and the image attached from there, but feels like it shouldn't be needed.  Is it possible to add images to collaboration chats from the managed web interface?

    Just a tip: the activity list on Mobile can be enriched with different text attributes for better viewing:
    Configuration > User Types > Screen configuration > Collaboration and Identifiers > Identify activity by
    Available options: reorder, put new fields, bold, italic, font size and color.

    I'm currently in the process of implementing OFSC Collaboration within our organisation, and we have a requirement to report on the volume of messages and the information being shared by the users.

    After opening a ticket, Oracle confirmed that this information can be delivered within the daily extract in the {COMPANY_NAME}_chat_message section.

    Can anyone with expertise in this area of OFSC configuration offer advise on how to set this up?  None of the daily extract entity types appear to have the fields that match this, and the online documentation doesn't really help with understanding how to do this.
