Oracle Field Service Cloud SOAP authentication1

Oracle Field Service Cloud SOAP authentication
    Summary:
With the August 2019 (19C) release, MD5 authentication support, used by SOAP APIs have been removed.
    Content:

With the August 2019 (19C) release, MD5 authentication support, used by SOAP APIs have been removed. We have an object event handler that sends tickets from OSC to OFSC, which uses SOAP to do authentication and now with 19C we have to start using Client ID/Client Secret. I have updated the code to use them but now we have to hash the authorization header using SHA256 instead of MD5, I am having difficulty. Existing code was using "md5" built-in function to hash the value, i updated the code to use "hash" function, but I get an error stating "undefined function hash()". Can someone shed some light or put me on the right path? I have attached the error screenshot and my code block.

here's the link i used to create my  'user' structure as authentication. https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/field-service/19c/faams/activity-management-api-overview.html#c_User_Authentication_Structure_activity_api

Format geolocation property for navigation in google maps

    Title:
Format geolocation property for navigation in google maps
    Summary:
Geolocation property results include lng: and lat: and will not find coordinates
    Content:

Can we edit the information saved in a geolocation property for easy navigation to coordinates?

    In my "navigation" plug in I set the native gmaps application to https://maps.google.com/?q={gtt_ipc_geolocation}

Resulting in coordinates not found. https://www.google.com/maps?q=lat:32.23011700000001,lng:-80.8586922

Can I remove lat: and lng: from the url when applying the geolocation property information?

Cannot create required inventory without model

    Title:
Cannot create required inventory without model
    Summary:
Cannot create required inventory without model
    Content:

    Hi,

I created inventory types without specifying the model property to use, since in our context/business the model is not necessary. I checked that is possible to create inventory to add to the technician and customer/activity without having to define a model. However, it seems to be mandatory to send this field when creating required inventory via API in an activity, which is not the wish.

Is there any way to create required inventory without using a model property, just inventory type and quantity?

    Thanks,

    Diana Cunha

Filters restricting visible activities based on activity ETA...Answered3

    Title:
Filters restricting visible activities based on activity ETA or planned time slot
    Summary:
In the activity list view, to be able to view the next activities within a specific period in time
    Content:

    Hi,

Whenever a technician accesses his activity list, he can see the activities for that day regardless of their scheduled. For example, if a technician has a working calendar from 9am to 6pm, but only have one activity scheduled for 3pm (within a defined time slot), if this is his first activity of the day then the technician can start that activity right away. This means that instead of respecting the ETA/time slot, he can start at 9 am and not at 3pm.

Is there any way to prevent this situation? Is it possible to restrict the visible activities based on their ETA or time slot? For this purpose, the goal is to create a filter so the technician can only see the activities to be performed in the net 2 or 3 hours, for example.

    Thanks in advance,

    Diana Cunha

Show compliance alerts in List View columns and/or activity...1

    Summary:
Show compliance alerts in List View columns and/or activity hint
    Content:

    Hi

When moving an activity, compliance alerts are shown in the move screen (ex.: "work zones mismatch"). The activity_compliance field is available in the "List View columns"  and "Activity Hint" contexts, however this field is not showing any information when added to these contexts.

Is it possible to show compliance alerts in a different context than the move screen or is it necessary any additional configuration for this information be visible?

    Thanks,

    Diana

In toa mobil, can the technician change the order of the orders?
    Content:

    Hi....

In toa mobil is there a possibility that the technician can move the orders and organize the route?

That is, the technician has a list of 60 orders, and he wants to be able to put order in them, to start them at his convenience, by proximity between one and the other.

    This is possible?

Send data using Message scenario trigger
    Content:

    Hi Gurus,

I am trying to send a custom field status to external system(REST API/ SOAP enabled) when an activity is started. Aware this could be done using message scenario, but can anyone share the steps on how to call the external system in channels and the payload which has to be given in Message Scenario-> patterns->Body and Subject. It would be great help if any one shares any payload(SOAP or REST) for our reference.

    Thanks,

    Madhu
