    OFSC Inbound API (SOAP transactions)


    Does anyone worked on  OFSC Inbound API's (SOAP transactions)? We tried to use OFSC activity WSDL and  create activity through SOAP UI. For some reason its failing with "501 Not Implemented" error.

    I read on Oracle website, recently Oracle has acquired TOA. I would like to know if there is any out of the box TOA  integration connector available? I don't see any article related to this integration. I would really appreciate if someone could respond.

    I have assigned routing plan to bucket and trying to execute it but the activities are not getting selected.

    Changing Activities to Non-Scheduled

    We have a requirement to change activities that are already created in the system as Non-Ordered to be changed to Non-Scheduled.  This would need to be done for all pending activities prior to the daily extract process is performed.  Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Hello Team,

    I am working on the integration b/w engagement cloud and OFSC for work orders and for this, following the helpful document at

    However unfortunately unable to succeed in the WO creation from EC and need help, please it is very urgent for me in respect to show the DEMO to our one of the prospect. I have gone through the OFSC books and did the setup as needed but not sure what still is missing

    I am working on DEMO instance from ORACLE (Field Service Cloud (TOA) 18A version)

    Your help would be really great or if you route me to the appropriate person or group.

    As a part of a Smart Location Test, I have created a bucket (Location Travel Test Bucket) and resource in the demo environment (Sunrise) and assigned activities to the resources and tried moving to another location (logging in with the Field Technician's credentials, activated the queue). So the Resource Location can be seen in the map view, but not the Resource Trace. The Oracle document says that the path chosen by the Resource (trace) can be seen in the Map view, where i am unable to see that, hence cannot check the Compliance. 
    Request some guidance.

    Hi All,

    What configuration do we have to do to enable sending sms to technician as part of notifications/actions?

    Is it sufficient to just update the technician's phone number in Resource Settings --> Resource Information --> Phone 

    The phone number should have country code included ?

    Hi All

    I am trying to create activity by using soap ui. I am getting the following error
             <error_msg>Can't create activity: 65574: insert_appointment: The 'workTypeId' mandatory property is not assigned.</error_msg>
     Any clue what is this worTypeId.

    Hi Gurus,

    Can field technician deactivate the route due to his personal emergency? 

    Use Case:

    Field Technician wants to take day off due to his personal reason. For avoiding further activity assignment, he wants to make him as unavailable. Like Activate Route.

    Best practice for resource tree setup

    We are configuring our field service application for one of our client. Please advise about best practice i should follow to setup resource tree for  the activities management. The details for the company and its business as follows:

    • Company has multiple locations word wide
    • Each location/country manages its own operations
    • Each location/country is divided into regions (say reg01, reg02, .. reg0n)
    • Each region is managed by a Regional Manager (RM)
    • Each RM has its team of field resources (Driver, technician etc)
    • Each RM has trucks which dispatches for work along with driver, technician etc
    • When the truck goes on field to work it also uses inventory
    • Sometimes one truck is send or sometime more than one.
    • AM also wanted to see how much capacity he has in a point in time. Its free and occupied resources.

    Please advise how to setup my resource tree to accomplish above in a flexible way. Thank you.
