    Hi,

    The Activity is completed yesterday by technician. As a supervisor i want to reopen the Activity today. But i was not able to see the Reopen button on Activity page. is there any configuration settings to be updated or any workaround; Please help. Please see the screenshot attached for your reference.

    Our business is like we create a job in CRM and that job came across to field service cloud. It gets scheduled to a technician and that technician goes to the job site, performs the job and then at the end of the job he present a receipt to the customer that what services/work he has performed and what is the cost. We have configured fields in the Activity entity to display this customer approval form in the mobility. Currently one of the requirement is to convert that form into pdf and send a copy to the customer on his email. There is no documentation about this. Please need guidance how to achieve this requirement.

    I created a survey with a sample question. I need to send this survey to customer via email once the activity is finished. I read online that OFSC cannot send html formatted survey to customer instead it can only send xml based message to middleware. In the message scenario i am not sure how to trigger the survey and also the layout of the message. I am also not sure how the response/feedback will be recorded back to OFSC. 

    Plus, is it possible to use a custom plugin to send and receive customer feedback for the survey?

    One of our requirement is to add emoticons to take customer feedback. Once the work will be done, the technician will present a form in which all the work items will be mentioned and customer will tap on one of the emoji to give a quick rating about the job and then sign. Is there a way we can do this without going for plugin?

    We are integrating with Siebel from where we are getting tickets (OFSC Activities = Siebel SR). These tickets in Siebel also contain tasks (Siebel Activities) which describe what has already been done and what other tasks should the technician perform. These are not always mandatory, the technician might leave some unfinished. The technician should also be give feedback with an update of the status for each one of these tasks and perhaps enter some comments.

    We have considered to use linked activities for this but we it wouldnt be very practical. The task list can be very long up to some hundreds so apart from the work needed to perform would also be very bad in term of visibility for the dispatcher. The technician would have to start and complete (or at least mark as done) every single sub-activity which would represent a sub-task of a main activity. This also could only be done before starting the main activity or after completing it, since we cannot mark done an activity while a different one is still in progress. And this raises a lot of problems apart from the SLA tracking.

    What we are currently trying to achieve is to use the SR OFSC entity for this purpose. So we would like -first of all- the technician to view and edit the tasks list inside the activity. Ideally we would like for the dispatcher to be able to view (and perhaps edit under conditions) these subtasks also inside the activity. 

    We have managed to show an SR list for the technician inside the activity from mobility using grid_request but everything is read-only. So no option for input of status and comments.

    For the dispatcher there is ony the Resource Inventory List available, not for the Activity. We have tried to create a custom action from action management to include the grid_request to the management interface but this seems that is only supported for mobility and indeed I cannot see this action button from inside the activity.

    Does anyone have an other ideas on how to achieve this requirement? I guess that there has to be other implementation where sub-tasks had to be configured.

    We would like to use the exchange functionality between inventories. The case would be for a technician to replace a mulfunctioned client inventory item with one of his own inventory pool. 
    Since we are integrating with Oracle Supply Chain Management, we would like to raise notifications to inform the Oracle Integration Cloud Service of the transaction. 

    Can we add custom fields to the two inventory blocks. How do I refer to them respectively? The documentation only mentions about id and serial number and we havent managed to make it work with anything else, even with vanilla properties such as inventory type

    Hi Gurus,

    Kindly let me know how to acheive this scenario.

    CEO of the company should be able to see the technician's location where they work as well as the manager where he is working. Now we are able to see the Technician location!

    I have given Supervisor priveledges to the manager, where the manager can see only his allocated bucket. But his location cannot be seen by CEO.

    How do we make Manager's current  location visible to the CEO.
