    I created a survey with a sample question. I need to send this survey to customer via email once the activity is finished. I read online that OFSC cannot send html formatted survey to customer instead it can only send xml based message to middleware. In the message scenario i am not sure how to trigger the survey and also the layout of the message. I am also not sure how the response/feedback will be recorded back to OFSC. 

    Plus, is it possible to use a custom plugin to send and receive customer feedback for the survey?

    Good afternoon, By business policies, the client needs to be assigned 50 orders daily to their technicians. Is there a kind of counter that we can enable ?. The general context is the following: A technician has to solve a maximum of 50 orders during the day (some can be canceled by different concepts) but you should always be able to finish 50 orders at the end of the day. Help me with your suggestions or recommendations please. Thank you.

    We are integrating with Siebel from where we are getting tickets (OFSC Activities = Siebel SR). These tickets in Siebel also contain tasks (Siebel Activities) which describe what has already been done and what other tasks should the technician perform. These are not always mandatory, the technician might leave some unfinished. The technician should also be give feedback with an update of the status for each one of these tasks and perhaps enter some comments.

    We have considered to use linked activities for this but we it wouldnt be very practical. The task list can be very long up to some hundreds so apart from the work needed to perform would also be very bad in term of visibility for the dispatcher. The technician would have to start and complete (or at least mark as done) every single sub-activity which would represent a sub-task of a main activity. This also could only be done before starting the main activity or after completing it, since we cannot mark done an activity while a different one is still in progress. And this raises a lot of problems apart from the SLA tracking.

    What we are currently trying to achieve is to use the SR OFSC entity for this purpose. So we would like -first of all- the technician to view and edit the tasks list inside the activity. Ideally we would like for the dispatcher to be able to view (and perhaps edit under conditions) these subtasks also inside the activity. 

    We have managed to show an SR list for the technician inside the activity from mobility using grid_request but everything is read-only. So no option for input of status and comments.

    For the dispatcher there is ony the Resource Inventory List available, not for the Activity. We have tried to create a custom action from action management to include the grid_request to the management interface but this seems that is only supported for mobility and indeed I cannot see this action button from inside the activity.

    Does anyone have an other ideas on how to achieve this requirement? I guess that there has to be other implementation where sub-tasks had to be configured.

    We currently have a resource tree structure with Techs at the lowest level under their managers. The Techs have a resource type of "Network Field Engineer" and are a Bucket. The managers above them are a bucket also and have no resource type associated with them.

    We want to introduce a new activity that the managers will have to complete in addition to the Techs. For the Techs, the existing logic works correctly. What I am asking the community is, is there a way to allow a manager to complete an activity, i.e. allow them to Start an activity in their bucket? They don't have a route to start like the Techs do. I just want the ability for them to click on the activity and be able to show them the Start button, so that they can start and then complete the activity. Is this possible? I have tried all sorts of configuration changes for the user types and various screen changes but I can't seem to get it to work. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

    We have 2 cases when we would like to raise notifications when a field is updated 

    1. When a user updates a field from the UI. Then the integration should be sent a message from us to update the same field to a different system

    2. When we are receiving a inbound call to update an activity, we would check the values and case of some value we would like to update a different field of the activity.

    Is that possible? We havent found an activity updated trigger on message scenarios.

    We have a combobox field that takes a series of values. Lets say at a certain point it has a value V1. We want make mandatory on a form for users to update this field choosing one of the values V2 and V3. So we edited the value visibility of the field to only include V2 and V3. But when we open the form we can see the current value as well as V2 and V3 and users are able to submit the form having selected V1.

    We have a field F1 which can contain some thousand different values. These values are constraint based on the combination of some other fields F2, F3 and F4. At the end this diminishes the options for the field to 5-10. We need to have this field constraint for the user and of course not force them to navigate though the thousands of values available. The only option that we now have available is to implement this though field Visibility. But that would mean that for every occurrence of the field we need to manually enter every single one of these conditions for every one of these thousand values. Is there any other way to implement this?

I currently working on implementing the integration between OFSC and external systems involving more than one external systems. One of the questions from their Security guy is whether OFSC has the ability of Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP) in place?

    Hi,

    We have a requirement to make the Name Filed searchable in Book Activity Screen (Mobility), so that Technician can search customer name instead of Typing. To achieve this functionality, we built a Plugin which opens an iframe. After selecting the value in iframe, it should stamp the selected value in the Name (cname) Field of Book Activity Screen.

    But after selecting the value and submitting. the value is not getting stamped in the Name Field of Book Activity Screen and also not navigating back to the Book Activity Screen. Please help. The files created for Plugin development are attached.
