Issue to send content Visual Builder to integrate OIC.9

Issue to send content Visual Builder to integrate OIC.
    Summary:
Issue to send content Visual Builder to integrate OIC.
    Content:

The application in which I work consists of a table and a button.

The table contains only two columns, the first shows the file name and the second shows the date, I created an event so that when a row is selected take the name of the first column and assign it to a variable later when I press the button a REST service that sends the contents of the variable to an OIC integration is invoked, but I have encountered the following problem. The OIC integration does not receive the String I am sending from visual builder, keeping track of the integration shows a message like the one shown in the screenshot Monitoring.png.

I have tried the integration of OIC in tools like PostMan and Boomerang and it works correctly the problem seems to be sending the data from Visual Builder.

Any opinion and help is appreciated.

Invoking a process using the native start process capability...Answered8

    Title:
Invoking a process using the native start process capability does not produce a response
    Summary:
If we are calling a process using the native start process option in vbcs we aren't able to receive any result as if it is a success or failure.
    Content:

I need to get the response whether the process invocation happened properly or not. If not then I can't track it unless we open the console that invocation failed. How can we tackle such a situation?

Problem to send the payload of reading a file in Visual Builder to the RESTful web service of Apex
    Summary:
Problem to send the payload of reading a file in Visual Builder to the RESTful web service of Apex
    Content:

The requirement consists of a screen in Visual Builder that uses a file picker to upload a CSV file to a database.

I have developed the screen and can read the files correctly.

I have developed a package and a RESTful Web Service for the invocation and use of that package.

I have tried the Rest service from Postman and it works without problem, then I have consumed it in Visual Builder and the test works well.

Then I configure the service within an action in a button.

The strange thing starts when I run the Visual Builder screen and everything indicates that all the execution was correct but when checking the database I insert an empty data, checking the browser console the request if it contains information and still insert it blank.

I repeated that test but this time I created an OIC integration that receives the same payload and with ICO if it worked correctly

    What can be happening?

    Error Handling in VBCS5

    Error Handling in VBCS
    Summary:
Is there any way to handle exception in action chains similar to try-catch block in Java?
    Content:

If I run an action chain and there is an error thrown at middle while executing the action chain, there should be a error handling concept that exits the process with an error message. For every if loop, assign variables i need a error handling process. Its an urgent requirement.

    Hi All,

I have selected "Allow anonymous access" in VBCS application. However when trying to access the app it is redirecting to IDCS login screen. In console it shows following error :

"Error parsing header X-XSS-Protection: 1; mode=block, 1; mode=block: expected semicolon at character position 13. The default protections will be applied."

Currently application in Dev and Stage stage. Will that affect?

Integrating with Process Cloud: how to add attributes while...4

    Title:
Integrating with Process Cloud: how to add attributes while submitting a task
    Summary:
We don't know how to submit attributes to a process instance while submitting a task from a visual builder web application.
    Content:

    Goal
We'd like to use Process Cloud to control our business process and include both human- and automated tasks. We however don't want to use Process Cloud's integrated webforms for human tasks, but use a webapplication built in Visual Builder instead.

    Approach

    1. We built a process in Process Cloud containing some human tasks and published it.
    2. We built a webapplication in Visual Builder.
    3. We succesfully integrated the published process in our webapplication and are able to:
      1. Start new process instances from our Visual Builder webapplication.
      2. Show a table containing assigned human tasks in our Visual Builder webapplication.
      3. Fulfill human tasks from our Visual Builder webapplication, making use of the 'actions' defined in the activity properties in Process Cloud.

    Problem
When fulfilling a task, we'd like to submit attributes to be used in the remainder of the process. We only found how to submit an 'action' when fulfilling a task, but not how to add attributes.

    Question
How do we submit attributes together with the 'action' while submitting a task from our Visual Builder webapplication that communicates with Process Cloud?

    Example
Fictitious example involving a manager and his/her secretary and the attributes 'restaurant' and 'price':

    • Manager starts a process instance from the company's webapplication that orders a secretary to come up with a dinner proposal for a business meeting.
    • Secretary gets a task to do so and sees this in the company's webapplication
    • Secretary opens tasks to see what the manager asks for.
    • Secretary picks a restaurant and  negotiates a price
    • Secretary enters 'restaurant' and 'price' in the company's webapplication and submits, fulfilling the task.
    • The manager gets an approval task showing the 'restaurant' and 'price'.

How does Visual Builder define the line break when reading a file using File Picker?
    Summary:
I need to separate a text line by line in sql pl
    Content:

    Hi everyone,

I have a development in Visual Builder that reads .csv files using file picker.

On the other hand, I have an apex web service that points to a package where it has all the contents of the file as input parameter and in that package I separate the lines and then in each line the fields delimited by commas are separated to separate each line in the package I put as an identifier "\r\n" assuming I had an entry like this example:
    "it's, a, test\r\nusing, file, picker\ r\n"
this in order to insert each line and their respective fields in a database I tested this web service and it does not work until I change \r\n by \\r\\n and I tested the web service from the Visual Builder screen and it will not work either, will it be that I am not recognizing the delimiters of each line correctly? Or does Visual Builder handle them in a different way?

Adding PCS Embedded UI Components as RequireJSAnswered45.0

Adding PCS Embedded UI Components as RequireJS
    Content:

I have a VBCS application that is connected to a process server (PCS).  I am able to use the embedded UI components via iframes because they are in the same identity domain.  However this has the downfaill of not being able to take full advantage of the embedded ui components (for example I cant change what happens when the submit button or approve/reject is clicked).  Basically is there a tutorial to show me how to use these in VBCS?  I have been able to get them to work on a regular apache httpd server, but I cant seem to configure them in VBCS.
