    Title:
    FTP transfer
    Summary:
    We are trying to send files with our oracle server
    Content:

    We are trying to write a script that will inevitably send a report to the server we are trying to integrate with. Right now we are just trying to get a file to send, for testing. When we send a file through our site, we get the following error.

    Severity: Warning

    Message: file_get_contents(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(***external server path*** ) is not within the allowed path(s):

    followed by some file paths. Is this a configuration setting that is preventing us from using php functions?

    Here is the code used, in case you need it for reference,

    $file ="***external server path***";
    $current = file_get_contents($file);
    $current .= "Test2 \n";
    file_put_contents(HTMLROOT . "/euf/assets/themes/standard/images/***",$current);

    Hash Functions usage

    Alternate workaround for Hash function
    Content:

    Hi Team,

    We are in need of using Hash Functions for one of our business requirement that needs to be implemented in Oracle Service Cloud. We have been notified that the Hash Functions are disabled for the php versions available in our application. In this case, please suggest us on the ways that we have to follow to implement the similar functionality as in Hash Functions.

    Thanks

    Content:

    Hi community,

    I am trying to retreive the contact from the sample ticket on my process designer script, but I get the error "trying to get property of non-object" for most attempts, for others it just doesnt print anything (and I believe the contact is required while creating the ticket so it could not be null, right?.

    Thanks for helping!!

    EDIT

    Solution:

    $contact = $inc->PrimaryContact->LookupName;

    Write data from Custom Object field to Contact custom field
    Summary:
    Does anyone have an example of the above?
    Content:

    I have a custom object group. Lets call it GroupObject. It has a number of objects within it. Lets call those.CObject1, CObject2 etc.and they each have fields.

    In a CPM I want to write GroupObject.CObject1.time (time is one of the fields, it is not the current time) to:

    contact_data->CustomFields->c->last_saved    a contact record custom field called last_saved.

    Any example, for any part of this, would be greatly appreciated.

    REST API Call Limit Per Day1
    Topic posted September 18, 2019 by Baljeet SinghRed Ribbon: 250+ Points, tagged Connect PHP, Custom Process Models - CPMs, REST, SOAP
    Title:
    REST API Call Limit Per Day
    Summary:
    Limit to call different REST API for different end point
    Content:

    Hi,

    I am curious to know the limit of REST API call per day to service cloud. How many times we can call REST API endpoint for different objects i.e. Incident, Contact, Organization etc. We have requirement where volume of incident creation is 3 Millions per year. We have integrated OSvC with third party system. Every time incident is create in OSvC we need to call REST API end point to sync data with third party software but volume of call is more then we expected initially.

    I believe there is per day REST API call limit.

    Does anyone knows API limits per minute , per day & number of transactions ?

    Appreciate your support

    Baljeet Singh

    Custom Process Error/ConfusionAnswered4
    Topic posted September 11, 2019 by Bryan ScarboroughBlue Ribbon: 750+ Points, tagged Connect PHP
    Title:
    Custom Process Error/Confusion
    Content:

    Hello,

    I am trying to setup my first Custom Process to create an entry in a Custom Object when an incident is saved.  I am currently running into an issue with the Setup Function in the TestHarness.  The code is below.

    I am getting the following error on the $newPage->SentBy = $testObject->AssignedTo->Account->Name; line

    Type mismatch: Must be string

    The Custom Object field is a string and as far as can see the Name field should also be one, so why is this giving me an error?  There is an account Assigned to this Incident.

    Thank you
