The General OBIEE forum was originally targeted for Oracle Cloud Applications (SaaS) customers only.

However, since we have opened up the community for Tech (PaaS and IaaS) members starting June 2018, we have reviewed the needs for opening up this forum for Tech members, and I am happy to announce that all Tech community members can now participate on the OBIEE forum as well.

If you still encounter any access issue, please email cloudconnect-help_ww@oracle.com.

Member of the same club as Joel and Fernando: the "General OBIEE" forum is "read-only" for me. Looks like somebody at Oracle is playing with permissions in a quite random way.

    Hi Mike,

We are attempting to finalize implementation of FCCS and would appreciate the opportunity to connect with peers.  Would  you be open to a brief call to discuss any similarities that we may have and whether those could be leveraged to find improvements to related tasks?

    Thanks!

    Jamie

    Hi Evan,

Thank you for being a valued member of Oracle Cloud Customer Connect. You have provided a valuable suggestion. We will add this to our list of enhancements that can be reviewed by the product management team.

Once again, thank you for all your efforts in the forums.

Yes as @Fernando points out, the issue isn't related to whether or not I'm logged in. I am logged in but don't have to option to Reply to comments in the General OBIEE forum. In the Analytics Cloud forum, I do have the options available and can post replies there.

    Regards

    Hi all.

I am facing the same issue at the same Forum (General OBIEE) and I'm logged in. Not able to reply to any post.

Also, when I try to create a new Post I receive "403: Oops! Access Denied" message.

Should this be addressed by the Forum admin?

    Cheers.

    Fernando

    Hi Joel,

You will see the option to reply only after you log in to the portal. A recent change has been made to the portal where you can read some content without logging in.

    Hi Sarath,

You can login to the portal and navigate to the appropriate forum where you want to post the question. Once you get to the forum page, you have a link for "Post a new Topic" on the top right of the page.

There is also a community overview video on the help page which can give you more details about the forum

    Thank You

    Hemal

    Hi,

Thank you for being a valued member of Oracle Cloud Customer Connect.

Currently the event calendars are accessible by SaaS licensed customers and approved SaaS partners only, since they cover SaaS events. In case you believe that you should have access to SaaS events, please send an inquiry to CLOUDCONNECT-HELP_WW@oracle.com for your request to be reviewed by the right folks.

In the near future, we will be adding an Events calendar for PaaS where you will have default access.

    Regards
    Hemal
