    Title:
Elastic IP - sometimes only working after a disconnect-connect
    Summary:
Sometimes I just can't reach the elastic IP that I attached to one of my VMs. When I disconnect/connect the elastic IP from the VM, it works again.
    Content:

Sometimes I can't reach (intermittent) the elastic IP that I attached to one of my VMs.
When I switch back to a public IP + Save/Update, and then go back to the same elastic IP + Save/Update, the elastic IP is reachable again.

    Is this a known issue?
    Or am I overlooking something?

    Content:

Trying to find guidelines/best practices for setting up an openVPN in pfSense to a Ravello application.
And how to use an Elastic IP in such a setup?

The purpose is to be able to connect (RDP, ssh, HTTPS) from the outside world to VMs running in the Ravello application.

Use para-virtualized drivers for the best performance4.0

    Title:
Use para-virtualized drivers for the best performance
    Summary:
    Ravello VM Performance Best Practice
    Content:

As a general best practice, Ravello recommends using para-virtualized disk controllers (PVSCSI or VirtIO) and para-virtualized network devices (VMXNet3 or VirtIO) in your VMs for best performance.  For more information, go to the Disks tab and click on the icon "i" next to  Controller and likewise on the NICs tab, click on icon "i" next to Device.

Note before you can switch to para-virtualized drivers, you need to make sure the drivers are installed inside your VMs. An easy way to get the drivers is to install VMware-tools into  your VM, after that you can switch to these drivers in Ravello GUI.
