Is there a way we can write logic to refer a field on the page
    Content:

    Hi,

Is there a way I can refer to the field on the page and retrieve value. Example, when AP invoice was saved, I would like to refer to identifying PO field on header. I intend to refer to this value in the one of the queries associated with value sets.

    Thanks, Bala.

Ability to load bank statement in a different format of the supported formats of Oracle Fusion Cash Management
    Content:

    Hi all,

In case our banks cannot provide us bank statements in one of the supported formats of Oracle Fusion Cash Management (BAI2, EDIFACT FINSTA, ISO20022 MX CAMT053.001.01 and SWIFT MT940), is there any ability to load a .csv or flat file bank statement format, or the only way to load it, is to enter it manually in the Cash Management module?

    Thanks in advance. Regards.

Viewing all Business Units on drop-down menu in AP Invoice...19

Viewing all Business Units on drop-down menu in AP Invoice Template
    Summary:
We have added a new BU, and created new Role so AP can access the BU, but they can't see it on the AP Invoice Spreadsheet Template
    Content:

We have activated a new BU (been there since we went live 10 months ago, so I am confident it is all set up correctly), and created new a Role and assigned that new role to the AP Specialists so they can access the BU when entering invoices and making payments.

But they can't see it on the AP Invoice Spreadsheet Template drop-down menu for Business Unit.  I can, but I've never had any problem accessing all BUs. So the problem clearly has to do with the AP Specialists' access, not the BU setup.

What do I need to modify to make it functional?

    Content:

With the change to Invoice Pages, the invoice lines are collapsed by default when in Edit mode.  Can this be changed?  We would like the lines to be expanded when in Edit mode.  By having the default set to collapse the lines, it takes yet another click to open the lines for review and editing in order to correct holds, etc.

    Is this possible?

Best Practices around Purchase Order Access for Payables...Answered185.0

Best Practices around Purchase Order Access for Payables team?
    Content:

Our P2P team often receives missing/ incorrect PO numbers on AP Invoices due to:

    1. Work was started by the vendor in a rush, before a PO was issued. They either left the PO field blank or referenced an old PO.

    2. Some vendors refuse to put PO numbers on their invoices.

    3. General clerical errors by the vendor.

How does your company/ clients work around issues like this without giving the AP team procurement agent access to view purchase orders, as well as the buyer role to access them in the navigator?

It's a segregation of duties issue to give our AP team buyer roles and procurement agent access, as well as the fact that it unnecessarily burns licenses.

    Payables aging - backdated185.0

    Payables aging - backdated
    Summary:
Can't figure out how to reconcile Payables Aging to Balance Sheet
    Content:

Through Oracle MOS I submitted an SR and was informed that it is not possible to produce an AP Aging report "as of" a past date.

I still can't get over the idea that this fundamental reconciliation is not supported by Oracle. . .certainly we can't be the first Oracle user to come across this issue!  (I have been informed that it will be available on R13, but that doesn't help me now.)

But incredulity aside, I still need to have a reconciliation for AP monthly, and my Auditors are also asking for it for end Dec 2017.

I have spent hours (probably close to 20 hours now) trying to complete a roll-forward from implementation on Nov 1 2017 through year-end Dec 31 2017, but I'm not having much success.

So, how do I come up with a detailed list of what makes up my Balance Sheet balance from the end of December 2017?

    Beth

Is it possible to import payables invoices in an approved status?
    Content:

We have a subset of invoices that are processed externally and imported into Oracle Cloud using the fbdi template.  These invoices are already workflow approved when they are imported.  Is there a way that we can have them imported with a workflow approved or force approved status instead of having to manually force approve each invoice individually after the import is completed?

We are spending a lot of time each day touching these invoices for a second time after import.
