    Hello,

I  need a help on posting the override for an asset account . In the attached screenshot, i am submitting the override data of column H and after running the consolidation, i am expecting the same amount in column E ( Parent currency ). Please note that the asset account is tagged as historical amount override . But somehow the override data is not sticking to the parent currency after running the consolidation .

Could you please help me in posting this override . Oracle response was to remove the member formula from the balance sheet hierarchy, but even after doing so i am not able to post the override for this particular asset account . I was able to post for the equity accounts successfully .

Any help is greatly appreciated .

    Thanks ,

    Tushant

A few things you should confirm. First make sure all the NonCash BS
accounts have a map for Movement dimension to a member under
FCCs_Mvmts_Subtotal. The CF is based on the activity as a starting
point. Assuming you have a balanced BS and all the BS accounts are
mapped to a movement you start off tying to cash.

Secondly confirm all the accounts you added outside the standard FCCS
structure exists in the Cash / Non-cash account BS structure.

Before making any adjustments you should tie to cash or you did not map
all the BS accounts. After you initially tie to cash you should only be
making adjustments between CF lines in a balanced manor. You can make
your adjustments in rules, forms, journals or data loads but again they
have to all be balanced adjustments. With these topics in place you
should not have to plug anything to cash.

We have been having this issue as well.  The load rule will work for a period of time and randomly return to not working.  We have rebuilt the location and load rule twice before in 6 months and are now broke again.  Stating the obvious, rebuilding is not a fix.

    Hello Ligia,

Thanks for the answer. I knew that, the problem is I need it to be Dynamic Calc. When i set it to dynamic calc I get error when running Metadata Validation. If I set it to Never Share i won't get my totals automatically.

    Hi Hamid,

the status is Synchronized and it is not working....

    Thanks

  • Hamid Ali

    Hi Elena,

Log in to FCCS --> Navigator --> Approval Unit and have a look if the Total Geography has UnSynchronized status. If it is "unsynchronized", change it to "Synchronized" by going to Actions --> Synchronize. Re-consolidate and lock. This worked for me.

    Thanks,

    Hamid

then I would check that periods for FY43 and FY44 are mapped on Data Management - Setup > Period Mapping

  • Antonio Barbaro

    Hi Luca,

I verified and it is already set as you indicated (see attached image).

    Hi Antonio

Please check the End Yr. settings on the Actual scenario on FCCS. Make sure is set to FY44, if this is the last year of the app.

    Hi Amaresh

Please add - would you then calculate the opening balances via a member formula? If so, that is not recommended as using member formulas in the movement dimension can impact performance significantly.

    Hi Mihajlo,

We had this error in the past. Be sure that the Never Shared is the Data Storage property in Member Properties and Member Formulas.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers.
