    Content:

    Hi,

We want to create a report that will need to have a specific length per column & wish to have a result similar to a RPAD function.

In other words, the length of the column values is determined (for example 30 characters) and the column is filled with the data of the element selected in the analysis + spaces until it reaches 30.

Is this possible through an analysis or a Logical SQL function (OTBI seems to use Logical SQL which doesn't know the RDAP function and therefore doesn't allow us this action until now ...).

    best,

    Hello,

I am trying to LAG function in a child dataset of Oracle BIP but it gives an 'ORA-01722: invalid number'. And if I execute the data-model on its own as Parent, it works fine.

Can anyone please help me with a wokaround? Or is there a limitation to use LAG function in child-datamodel of BIP?

    thanks,

    Hello,
We would like to know if there is an existing report in Oracle BI PUBLISHE/OTBI that display a list of all the
existing reports ? for example if we have a managers report , and employees report - to list them .
List of reports and their location , and if possible the fields displayed for each report.
Is there an existing build in report like the above?
if not - what would be the best way to create such a repot? (is there a subject area )
    Thanks ,

OTBI: Diff of Two dates to get Age is rounded to next highest value

Example: If difference of Age is 48.8 Its displayed as 49 instead of 48 even after using FLOOR or TRUNCATE.

Below is the formula I used still unable to succeed.

    FLOOR(TimeStampDiff(SQL_TSI_YEAR, "Dependent Data"."Dependent Date Of Birth", Current_Date))

    Your help is highly appreciated.

Current Timestamp Not Updating on OTBI ReportAnswered85.0

Current Timestamp Not Updating on OTBI Report
    Content:

    Hello,

I'm currently building an HCM Report where it looks at the Timestamp of the change (Hire/Term/etc.) and subtract 1 minute from that timestamp. Then I was hoping to run an agent every minute to pick up any changes in the last minute.  I am trying to use the below filter, but when I run the report the CURRENT_TIMESTAMP does not update every time the report/agent runs. When I run the report normally it has the Timestamp of the last time I edited the report, but if I refresh on the bottom of the report it will pull the current timestamp. Below is the filter I'm trying to use and the HCM Post I created, I've also attached the related XML.

Does anyone have any advice on how to make the current_timestamp update every time the report is run or scheduled to run?

    Filter

    "Assignment Event Details"."Assignment Creation Date" > TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_MINUTE, -1, CURRENT_TIMESTAMP)

    Content:

    Hello,

I have been asked to create a report showing the associates with a deferred termination. When they do a termination transaction, a selection box showing the processing options pop up on the interface with the choice of Immediate or Deferred.

I tried to look but could not find the field in OTBI related to it. Anyone knows which field to use of if there is another way to determine this type of termination?

    thank you!

    Hi,

I have an OTBI Report running into error when I add Sum on a column The error says "Sort has no work space in the work directory".

Does it signal anything wrong with the code or its a work directory space running out? It happens when I add a 'SUM' on a column.

    Thanks,

Reporting Options for data source in PaaS and SaaS
    Content:

I understand we have OTBI and BI tools available to report out of SaaS Data Source. Similarly,

    1. What are the options to report data out of DBCS – PaaS?
    2. What are the options to report data out of two data sources combined - DBCS and SaaS? I understand we can move data from SaaS to DBCS and then report out of DBCS. But what about without data movement?
    3. What are the options to report data out of three data sources combined – DBCS, SaaS and On Premise Data Store?

    Kindly share your thoughts.

    Thanks,

    Raghu
