The URL I tried it with is: https://podurl.fa.us2.oraclecloud.com:9704/xmlpserver/
I've done several variations of this, but nothing seems to work. Is the above URL the correct format? Is the port correct?
Thank you,

We are keen to have the option to hide seeded folders from users. Changing permissions on seeded report folders comes up with the following error:
"In-place customizations are not allowed on factory delivered content. Save your customizations in /shared/custom"
***
We were really pleased therefore to see the following release notes for 19D:
However, I am trying to understand how it works. Has anyone used these roles yet?
The BI Consumer role still has traverse permissions to these seeded folders, therefore struggling to understand how assigning another role counters this.
Also - the Custom BI Webcat Reporting Duty, which is the Duty Role that it is advised we edit put into a role and assign, is unable to be copied. Is this what people would expect?
If anyone can give any further detail on how this works, it would be much appreciate. Keen to lock down some of these seeded reporting folders.
Kind regards,
Sian.
The folder is empty.
A duty role exists for it, BI_EXT_REPORTING_DUTY, but unlike the other folders, the permissions on this folder have not been updated so that only people with that role see this folder.
I had been doing the following configuration to assign folder reporting duty roles to role
Custom BI Webcat Reporting Duty
CONFIGURE NEW BI REPORTING DUTY ROLES TO HIDE THE FACTORY CATALOG FOLDERS

Hi,
We have created a custom report and rtf output. And the format is defaulted to PDF.
When we are generating the output, Mozilla and chrome is giving the exact size ie. 100% but IE is more than 300%. How to fix it?

Hi,
Does anyone know if in Oracle Cloud Application, we are oracle cloud application 19B(11.13.19.04.0) with oracle business intelligence 11g (11.1.1.9.0), does a role exist that has been granted privilege "Admin:General"/"Issue SQL Directly" by person with bi administration privileges who went to the Administration menu then the page "Manage Privileges" to assign that privilege to a role. Our development team who are writing extensions using oracle transaction business intelligence (OTBI) real time subject areas, to be productive, need the ability to issue logical sql, view results with the log level set > 0, then view the log file with rich diagnostics like timings and row counts and the actual physical sql. To achieve this on onpremise projects the administrator had granted the above role to developers. We assume that the bi administrator role is not allowed to be granted in cloud therefore we can not set this up ourselves. In Navigator/Tools/Security Console I have assigned the following roles "BI Consumer Role", "BI Platform Author Role", "BI Publisher Data Model" and even "BI Platform Repository Manager" and "Business Intelligence Content Administrator" but none of these give me the "Administration" menu in /analytis/ nor the ability just to go to "issue sql" saw.dll?issuerawsql or even "Manage Sessions" saw.dll?sessions. Thanks, Nathan
Hi everybody,
I try to find a way to have extracts done by OTBI agents in the UTF-8 encoding format by default. Currently it is UCS-2 LE BOM. I thought that it might be a setting within OTBI administration, but there is none. Does anybody know how to do this? We need all extracted (CSV)Files in UTF-8 in order to extract data towrads our DWH.
Every input on the issue is much appreciated.
Thank you very much in advance.
Regards,
Stefan
Creating Reports with Direct Database Query in Oracle Fusion OTBI is being deprecated for CLOUD environment from 19A releases.

Hello All,
I have a request to export the result output of an OTBI report to an SFTP server on a daily basis. Unfortunately the delivery Agent for scheduling OTBI reports does not have the FTP as a Destination option. Has anyone some Ideas on how I can go about this? your contributions are highly appreciated.
