    Content:

    Hi,

We have encountered an issue recently where the data model query were updated by someone and the reports refering to the same data model started failing because of the changes.

Is there any way we can have and audit on the BIP Templates or Data models to find out what was the changes done and who incorporated the changes.

Any help in this is much appreciated.

    Regards,

    Samrat

Need to Add more Information from Seeded Data Model5.0

Need to Add more Information from Seeded Data Model
    Summary:
We've successfully customized an AR Invoice Print Layout, but we need more information that the Seeded Data Model Does not Provide
    Content:

Hi, we're in the middle of implementing ERP Cloud for one of our Clients. One of the tasks assigned to us is to modify the AR Invoice Print Layout. The new layout is running successfully from both "View Image" Recievables > Billing > Manage Transactions > Choose Transaction
and "Print Receivables Transactions" ESS Job.

However, there are some vital information missing that is not included in the Seeded Data Model's XML Extract. For example
The field "Original System Reference for Customer Account" is not included in the  "Invoice Print Template" Data Model and its corresponding XML.

Is it possible for us to customize the Data Model for this Layout but still able to run the layout from "View Image" and "Print Receivables Transactions" ESS Job?
I read about Doc ID 2322721.1 ("View Image" Very Slow Or Not Working At All), that if using a customized data model, the “View Image” button in Billing would possibly fail.

    Please advise.

Dashboard Custom Print and Export design in 12C
    Summary:
Any resources that give detailed instructions on how to design a custom print layout?
    Content:

    Hello,
I have stumbled across a 'Custom Print and Export Layouts' feature in our OBIEE 12C dashboards. I got as far as importing into BI Publisher data model and report (which I am familiar with as well) but that's about as far as I got. This looks different than other BI report layouts I'm used to, etc. Is there any good documentation or examples out there that could help? I've read through the generic Oracle doc that tells me the limited information that I already know. Any more advanced info out there?

    Thanks,

    Stephanie

    Title:
    Conditional Formatting
    Summary:
Conitional Formatting is not working properly
    Content:

I have created a report to help our teams identify at risk background checks.  The report uses OBI conditional formatting to change the background to red the data meets certain criteria.  For example, if the candidates does not consent to having their background check run, the field would be bold and highlighted redThe issue:  Not all fields that meet the criteria are changing.  Does anyone know why this would happen?  Or how to fix?    I have attached both an exported excel version of copy of the report, and an archived version of OBI file. Additionally, there is an image I added to show the discrepancy (note:  not all no's within the selected field are changing to red).

Any help/guidance that can be provided is greatly appreciated.

    Tristan

Two Pivot Tables with Different Values

Two Pivot Tables with Different Values
    Content:

    Hi

I am trying to contain a report that has two pivot tables in it but with different parameters to restrict the results. I am pulling in the Expenditure Type column and want to restrict it by Expenditure Category. I want one table to show Expenditure Types by the 'Labour' value from Expenditure Category and the other table to show Expenditure Types without the 'Labour' value. Now, I can do this but only for one table, if I create another table it automatically restricts it to 'Labour' and if I change it then it changes table 1 to whatever I have changed table 2 too. Is there anyway I can manipulate the selection steps or filter the column so this conflict doesn't occur ?
