    Dear All,

I am a newcomer to OPA. Now we have a problem. My client wants to record the track of each customer's choice in the interview. Do we have any good way to achieve it?

    Please give me some advice.

    Thank you,

    Hi,

I have a new requirement to display the customer's preferred name if it is not empty, but if Null the first name should be displayed

I am wondering if there is a way to check the preferred name in standard text?

Currently we use a variable to get user name from the object

    Hi $contacts.name.first,

    What I want

    Hi if($contacts.c$preferredname is NULL)

I think it might not be doable in Standard text but templates

    Kind regards,

    Kathy

Using mathematical operators as text values2

I have a text attribute "the choice" for which a valuelist of 0, 1, 2, or 3 can be chosen.

When I use  the choice = "0" in an excel rule - it throws an error.

I also have another text attribute that has ranges of numbers as choices in a value list (>1m, >.7m -1m, etc.)

When I use the attribute = ">1m" in an excel rule it throws an error.

    Why is this happening?

    Content:

    Hi wizards

Deploying rulebase this morning was slightly alarmed by warning as follows:

"The virus 'Win.Exploit.CVE 2019 0903-6966169-0' has been detected."

After deleting components and re-attempting, I found the culprit was substitute TrueType font (specifically arial.ttf)

CLAM may have a false positive (e.g. https://forum.directadmin.com/archive/index.php/t-57936.html)

    Chatbot and Service Cloud ConnectorAnswered5

Can Contact mapping utilised in Chatbot
    Content:

    Hi all

We would like to deploy a simple OPA chatbot API interface (not utilising Virtual Agent or other platform) for Service Cloud Contacts.

We can do this with an Anonymous data connection (e.g. create Incident on Submit for anonymous user).

Would like to do so using logged in Contact and do not want to re-build the OPA/Service Cloud connection.

Is it possible to leverage the init_id of the 'logged in contact' in any way other than the OPA Widget? For example, can we build a custom widget that serves up a Chat UI?

    How to properly link entities1

    How to properly link entities
    Content:

    Hi!

I've been struggling to get a link between entities working - for now, it's kinda working but not how it's supposed to.

    I've got two entities:

    • maintenance steps
    • historic maintenance steps

For device X, every time it has maintenance, the values should be stored in OSvC. Now, the interval depends on the previous value.

Now, what I want to happen is that a maintenance step from 'maintenance step (let's call it step 1), is linked to step 1 in historic maintenance steps. From that, it can collect the last recorded date and value of step 1 and make a decision whether step 1 has to be executed now.

    This seems to be working:

the historical maintenance step (the other maintenance step) is a member of the historical maintenance steps if

the maintenance step number= the other maintenance step number

However, not to my satisfaction. It does link the two instances, but when I make more rules, it doesn't seem to know what value of what step I am referring to - it keeps giving me error OPA-E00209.

Can someone help me with this?

Find out if a signature control has been signedAnswered5

    Title:
Find out if a signature control has been signed
    Summary:
How do I determine if a signature control has been signed in OPA?
    Content:

    Hello,

As a condition for being eligible to apply for a grant, I want to ensure the applicant has signed the signature control. The control is set to mandatory, however, that just throws and error message on the screen if they try to navigate away from the page. I do not want them to even be able to see the screen with the submit button on it until the signature is completed.  So I would like to be able to have a boolean attribute that can be set based on the status of the signature control.  Since OPA knows whether or not the signature control has been marked, how do I capture that information as a condition for the conlusion?

    Thank you,

    Scott

    Content:

    Hello,

When an entity is being loaded is it possible to sue And statements with Or statements?  It seems I can do one or the other but not both.

For example: Load all instances that meet one or more conditions

    (Attribute1 = 1 and

    Attribute 2 = A)

    or

    (Attribute 1 = 2 and

    attribute 3 = C)

    Hello,

    The standard string for a echeckpoint-option-screen-title is: Options for your ${Rulebase}

Is there a way to have the ${Rulebase} automatically substitute the name of the rule base or the text from an attribute into this string?

    Thank you,

    Scott
