    XPATH Filter Expression3

    Title:
    XPATH Filter Expression
    Summary:
    Can we define a XPATH Filter Expression using 'AND' and 'OR' operators?
    Content:

    Hi Integration Guru's

    We have a requirement to include complex conditions in our Xpath Filter Expression within our ERP Adaptor, such that our Integration will only fire if a number of attributes meet certain conditions. For example;

    Currently I am subscribing to the Item Update Event in Oracle Product Hub, and I am successfully employing this xpath filter;

    <xpathExpr xmlns:ns_0="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/svc/types/" xmlns:ns_1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/scm/productModel/items/itemServiceV2/" xmlns:ns_2="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/scm/productModel/items/itemServiceV2/types/">$eventPayload/ns_2:result/ns_0:Value/ns_1:VehicleItemFlag="true"</xpathExpr>

    So we only fire the integration when the VehicleItemFlag is true.

    But I want to only fire the integration when VehicleItemFlag is true AND itemstatus = 'A' and itemOrganisation = 'MASTERORGANISATION'

    Is this possible?

    If so, what is the syntax I need to use when referencing multiple items?

    any help is as always, greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Mark

    Can you point out Service catalog URL and Event Catalog URL?

    I have requirements like

    • When new item is created/updated, I need to capture those data and send it to third party application.

    Hence I'm looking for its Business events.

    Business Events - HCM Cloud3

    Business Events - HCM Cloud
    Summary:
    Are Business Events available for Oracle HCM Cloud?
    Content:

    Hi Everyone,

    We have a requirement to integrate Oracle HCM cloud with a Third Party application. In HCM cloud, whenever a New Hire/Existing Hire updates are made the integration has to automatically pass those information along with Hire data to Third Party application. The Third Party application had exposed SOAP services to import data coming from HCM cloud.

    The below oracle document states Business events are not available for Fusion HCM cloud:
    https://docs.oracle.com/cloud-machine/latest/intcs_gs/ICSKI/GUID-B8AC4537-C86D-4649-9D64-34C199051396.htm#ICSKI-GUID-B8AC4537-C86D-4649-9D64-34C199051396

    If Business events are not available for HCM cloud, then what is the alternative to capture New Hire/Existing Hire updates?

    Filter trigger endpoint by multiple elementsAnswered4

    Title:
    Filter trigger endpoint by multiple elements
    Summary:
    Need help with the syntax for a filter, that restricts the triggering event of my integration flow by 2 different elements
    Content:

    Hi,

    I'm a newbie on OIC, so sorry in advance for maybe not using the correct terminology...

    I have an issue with my triggering endpoint: I need to filter that by specific values of two different elements. So far, I couldn't figure out how to do that. Using a single element works for both of my requirements, but I'm not able to put both of them together in a single expression.

    Can somebody advice?

    Kind regards

    Stefan

    xpathExpr in Business Events for supplier return transactions
    Content:

    Hi All,

    I have been struggling to filter the business events data to receive the right data in OIC for a supplier return transactions in Fusion.

    I have gone through all the blogs and tried different approaches but still having issues while filtering the events.

    The expression which i have tried are as given below.

    <xpathExpr
    xmlns:ns_0="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/svc/types/"
    xmlns:ns_1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/scm/receiving/receipts/receivingTransaction/"
    xmlns:ns_2="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/scm/receiving/receipts/receivingTransaction/types/">
    $eventPayload/ns_2:result/ns_0:Value/ns_1:TransactionType="RETURN TO VENDOR"
    </xpathExpr>

    <xpathExpr
    xmlns:ns0="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/scm/receiving/receipts/receivingTransaction/"
    xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/scm/receiving/receipts/receivingTransaction/types/">
    $eventPayload/ns1:result/ns0:Value/ns0:TransactionType="RETURN TO VENDOR"
    </xpathExpr>

    When i used the above the expression i was unable to receive the events in OIC but when i use the below expression i was able to view the message in OIC but the right data was not filtered out.

    <xpathExpr xmlns:ns_0="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/svc/types/" xmlns:ns_1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/scm/receiving/receipts/receivingTransaction/" xmlns:ns_2="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/scm/receiving/receipts/receivingTransaction/types/">$eventPayload/ns_2:result/ns_0:TransactionType="RETURN TO VENDOR"</xpathExpr>

    Appreciate any help in this regard.

    Thanks,

    Nagesh.
