    Hi Community Members,

I would like to know about following scenario :

if SR has been created manually or using any other chanel apart from web in OEC and while replying the SR an agents selects Web channel, then does the respective customer will receive message in DCS portal?

How can we setup this functionality?

    Summary:
Receiving error executing GET method using custom Integration Cloud Web Service
    Content:

    Hi All,

We registered a custom Integration Cloud REST Web Service in Engagement Cloud and created a groovy to execute GET method. However we are getting this error:

    • oracle.binding.expr.ServiceInvocationException: JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.adf.model.connection.rest.exception.RestConnectionException, msg=JBO-57001: Invocation of service URL used in connection failed with status code 415 Unsupported Media Type

We tested the same endpoint using Postman and it works fine. We also had the web service checked and it is returning json. We also tried adding "Content-Type: application/json" and "Accept:application/json" in the request header but the same error occurs.

Data Migration of Work Orders (Engagement Cloud - Service)

    Hi,

We have about 150,000 work order records that need to be migrated from legacy on-premise application to Oracle Engagement Cloud (Service).

Based on my analysis, the file-based migration is not available for Work Order. (REST API is available but not suitable for such large volume - 150,000).

Does anyone know if this in the road-map? 20A or 20B?

    Thanks,

    Aparajit

OSC license automatically provides "Loqate" address data integration via scheduled process?
    Content:

    Hi,

OSC license automatically provides "Loqate" address data integration via scheduled process and understand that "Loqate" address data covers Japan. Do we have a Japanese character (i.e. Double-Byte) version for this or are they only provided in Single-byte alphabets? If latter is the case do we have any Japan address data can we use? Also upon using scheduled process to integrate address data of "Loqate". Is it a full delete insert upload rather than update insert. Postal Code constantly changes hence normally, internal key for each address cannot be held. Thus full delete insert should be the expected upload procedure.

    Thanks

Can we able to get the logged in username and password dynamically through script under service request object?
    Content:

    Hi Team,

I have registered OIC rest API inside OEC under Web Services with authentication and I am calling that process through script while creating an SR.

We have enabled SSO between OIC and OEC. So is it possible to give authentication through script while calling the registered service, it should take the current session who logged in the OEC?

Please update here which is feasible or not.

    Thanks,

    Creating/Updating 1:M related object through REST APIAnswered25.0

    Summary:
Creating/Updating 1:M related object through REST API
    Content:

Cant we use REST API of an object say SR to create or update 1:M related object?

Ex: SR is having a related object  A , this related object is exposed as subtab under SR.  I can create 'A' records by going to the SR > A subtab.

Cant we create/update A records through REST API of SR object? Should we go to the REST API of 'A' object explicitly to do this update/create?    or the vice versa  llike using REST API of A to update SR object fields too?

In our requirement, we have to do perform operation on SR object as well as the custom object.  Wondering should we use two different API calls?
