    Exporting Logs from Service Cloud5.0

    Title:
    Exporting Logs from Service Cloud
    Summary:
Is there a way to export Security Logs from Service Cloud into a text file or similar?
    Content:

You can access logs in the Service Cloud Console by navigating to Service Cloud Configuration. However, the way these logs are presented are quite hard to work with and search through. You need to click on each error line to see the details that appear in the panel opposite. In addition, you cannot copy details of the list of logs (

Is there a way to export these logs out in anyway? For example, to export them out as csv, xml, JSON or to an Excel file?

    Categories in Groovy

    Title:
    Categories in Groovy
    Summary:
Can I access Categories using newView()
    Content:

We want to create a custom Category field validation when the category is selected in the SR. Specifically, we want to prevent a user from selecting a Level 1 category which we define as any Category with no parent id. I want to use newView() to get the categories. What is (or where can I find) the API name of the Service Categories? It's exportable so I expect it has an API name.

    Thanks.

Customize the login information from the standard DCS Chat Client
    Content:

Please how to make the fields First Name, Last Name and Email from the Chat login page not be populated with the default values "Anonymous" as illustrated by the attached doc in the standard Chat login screen provided by the DCS.

I have tried unflag the parameter  below under Settings > Security option for the Web application as I understand should be the correct way to address this issue, but after publishing this setting the same issue persists.

    This is documented in https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/app-builder-cloud/visual-builder-developer/secure-application.html#GUID-67A760A1-F45E-42DE-8EAF-CDAA5BBE9C56

    Title:
Passing values from Service Request Page to Contacts Create Page field
    Summary:
How to pass/set a value from SR Page to Contacts Create Page?
    Content:

    Hi all,

Is this scenario possible in Oracle Engagement Cloud?

    Scenario:

I have a custom FCL field in SR called SR Type. When a specific value is selected, I need to create a new Contact via the SR's Primary Contact field. And when the Contact Create Page comes up, I need a custom text field (Created from) to automatically be set to "Service Request". Is this possible. If so, what is the approach in accomplishing this?

I am aware that we could create additional custom fields in Service Request for the creation of a contact, populate values, then just trigger a groovy script to create a contact. But this will consume the custom field counts in the Service Request object and prospect client doesn't want this.

    Summary:
In Forecast Gantt panel, is necessary change the status colors for status closed and forecasted, because reviewing the status of work orders is it shows the same color for them.
    Content:

    Hi community.

In a maintenance program, whe looking for the status of work orders, in the "Work Requierements" screen, it shows us the status by colors, the closed status (missing in the status panel) and the forecasted shows the same color.

    Requirement:

For this IDEA is necessary consideration the following points:

    • In the panel of statuses,  add the status “Closed” and assign it a different color.
    • In forecasted and closed status, are required diferent colors to distinguish them correctly.

For this IDEA please find more details in the attached file name: Status color of work orders.pdf

I will be attentive to your comments.

Work orders are not created by readings meters.5.0
Topic posted October 10, 2019 by Miguel Angel Velazquez VelazquezGreen Ribbon: 100+ Points, tagged Setup and Configuration
    Title:
Work orders are not created by readings meters.
    Summary:
Actually, work orders are created according to the date estimated by the forecast, based on the daily utilization ratio, and no based in the meter readings.
    Content:

    HI community.

We have been doing work order programming tests for assets with working hours meters.

In the real operation, certain assets most be performed preventive maintenance every range of active hours of work, what we have detected in our tests is as detailed below:

Work orders are created according to the date estimated by the forecast, based on the daily utilization ratio and no for the reading’s meters.

    Requirements for this Idea:

    1. We need to create work orders according with the readings of hours worked entered daily at meter.
      1. Why?
        1. We have assets with meter and without it. Our requirement is needed for assets with meter and daily readings by hour worked.
        2. This is required in a real operation because an equipment most be maintainable according with its hour worked and maintenance cycles.
        3. The forecast based on an estimated daily interval is an estimated for work orders maintenance but in a real operation the main parameter are the operative readings introduced to the meter. For this reason, is necessary to create work orders by reading meters.
    2. The current functionality for Forecast is properly but to create work orders based on it does not apply in all operative cases.

Please Find more Details about this IDEA in the attached File name : ASSET WITH METER V2.pdf

i wil attentive to your Comments.

    Thanks and Regards

Error integrating to Integration Cloud REST Web Service.
    Summary:
Receiving error executing GET method using custom Integration Cloud Web Service
    Content:

    Hi All,

We registered a custom Integration Cloud REST Web Service in Engagement Cloud and created a groovy to execute GET method. However we are getting this error:

    • oracle.binding.expr.ServiceInvocationException: JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.adf.model.connection.rest.exception.RestConnectionException, msg=JBO-57001: Invocation of service URL used in connection failed with status code 415 Unsupported Media Type

We tested the same endpoint using Postman and it works fine. We also had the web service checked and it is returning json. We also tried adding "Content-Type: application/json" and "Accept:application/json" in the request header but the same error occurs.
