In the November' 08 version and beyond, you can remove the login required meta tag on the ask and ask_confirm pages and as long as the contact email address is the only field on the AAQ form, the incident will either create a new account with that email address, or associate the incident to the existing contact if the email exists. I'm pretty sure there is something in the Nov. '08 documentation about this if you take a look there.

I've looked around in the forums and haven't found anything, but has there been any update to associating the e-mail to the incident if it already exists in the database? Thanks!

Yes, the customer portal breakouts will be more in depth than the extra workshop that was given at the Users Conference.  The breakout sessions will cover custom controllers/models, Hooks,  JavaScript and Events among other things.  The conference will only be for developers and technical in nature.

I think you want to display the 'access_level' field (I'm not sure what you're attempting to do with field_name="c$doc_id", maybe you pasted in the wrong code?). To view all of the available fields on each object, just go to <site_name>/ci/tags/businessObjects and that will list all the fields and their associated property names.

Yes it does. I have attached the definition

Your report doesn't seem to be returning data back when the product filter is used.  Your post data to the server looks ok as far as I can tell.  Does your report work correctly if you run it in the console?
  • JustRhianna
I updated the report id in details and list.php
  • monique perkins

Did you verify you changed the report_id in all places?

Also - you might want to keep the column and just leave it blank.  You can remove the column but the format of the answer listing might look different (since the multiline widget has particular formatting for the first few columns)

One of the folks here pointed out that the end user pages already send a P3P HTTP header which points to /rnt/rnw/p3p/rnw_p3p_ref.xml. The SEC_P3P_COMPACT_HDR config setting controls what else is sent in the P3P header.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

I'm not overly familiar with the protocol either, but it seemed like a less obtrusive solution than having all IE users set their privacy settings. I'll take a look into this to see if it fulfills my needs. Thanks!

I can't think of a good way to do this without creating a custom widget, so I think that's the best option. I would just modify the view to create the two column layout and still reference the standard controller and logic files. That way you only have to reference the widget once.

Unfortunately, custom, user-editable reports are interface specific. You'll have to copy your custom report to each interface, at which point it would have a different ID on each interface. I wish I had a better solution for you.

I'd never looked at P3P before, so please forgive my ignorance. From what I can tell by looking at the RFC, P3P information can either be sent in a HTTP header or an HTML header. Unfortunately, we don't buffer the output of pages, so PHP will complain if you try to send an HTTP header. It appears that you could put a <link> tag in the <head> of the page or the page's template that specified a policy file.

The example from the RFC is:

    <link rel="P3Pv1" href="http://catalog.example.com/P3P/PolicyReferences.xml">

Again, I'm not familiar with this protocol, so please forgive me if I've missed the point.

This looks very interesting. Will the CP class be more in depth than the extra workshop that was offered at the summit?
  • Ernie Turner
I'm not really sure what you're asking. If you've downloaded the files and made your changes, then you can just upload them using WebDAV.
