Customer Data Management Cloud as a standalone cloud service
    Summary:
Is Customer Data Management Cloud available as a standalone cloud service?
    Content:

    Hello,

I was looking at the Customer Data Management Cloud documentation and noticed the following statement: "However, since release 19D Customer Data Management Cloud is also available as a standalone cloud service". Does that mean that a customer can purchase and use CDM without an OSC/OEC license?

This is the related documentation page: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/customer-data-management/19c/index.html

    Kind Regards,
    Vas Toumpelis

How can I provide ability for sales reps to create and edit Competitor?
    Content:

Only sys admins are able to create and edit Sales Competitors in OEC (19C), and we've been told that is by design - although I can't quite figure out the logic behind it.  Has someone found a way to circumvent this other than creating a custom object?

    I appreciate your thoughts!

    Thank you,

    Tiina

FlexField - Validators - how Boolean are managed in the...25.0

    Title:
FlexField - Validators - how Boolean are managed in the Groovy expression
    Summary:
I would like to use a boolean flexfield in a groovy expression
    Content:

    Hello,

    Imagine 2 flexfields :

    • "Flag" is TRUE_FALSE
    • "Type" has a value set (having 4 values possible : H, B, N or L, each value having a specific functional signification)

I want to create a Validator in order to raise an error with the following rule:

    • If the Type is H or B or L and Flag is false, prompt the error 'Error Message'.

I thought it easy and so the expression is :

    (FlexSeg?.Type == 'H' || FlexSeg?.Type == 'B' || FlexSeg?.Type == 'L') && FlexSeg?.Flag == false

It is a valid expression but it prompt the error all the time.

Other working test : FlexSeg?.Type == 'H' prompt the error only if the Type = H in the UI

How should I write the expression to validate the rule?

    thanks for your help

    Summary:
Does anyone know if there's a way to exclude customers from syncing to sales cloud when using the "Synchronize Financials Cloud Accounts and Contacts with Engagement Cloud" process?
    Content:

We have many customers that were erroneously entered into Financials Cloud instead of Sales Cloud. We'd like to run the process for Synchronize Financials Cloud Accounts and Contacts with Engagement Cloud”, but there are also customers in Financials Cloud that we do NOT want to sync to Sales Cloud. Is there any way to prevent those select customers from syncing with this process?

    Managing attachments - Client profile5.0

    Title:
    Managing attachments - Client profile
    Summary:
Maintain attachments - all versions - which support a client profile
    Content:

    Greetings,

We are currently implementing ERP and Sales Cloud; and our customer is questioning the functionality related clients profile attachments.

We are migrating from EBS to cloud, and that includes moving our client´s data. Part of it include attachments (i.e. pdfs) containing Tax Ids, certifications, pictures, etc. Customer needs to have stored all versions of those documents, to track for example if a certificate was renewed and provided year after year.

Our understanding is that once the file is added to the client profile, it is versioned and cannot be deleted.

We are interested on maintaining all versions of the documents provided. Could you please advise, if this is possible?

    Thanks

    Daniel Vargas
