19D Update Account and Budget Date on Budgetary-Controlled...25.0

    Title:
19D Update Account and Budget Date on Budgetary-Controlled Open Purchase Orders
    Content:

We are testing out the changes for the 19D upgrade and trying to confirm what specifically this change is supposed to make. We've been able to make changes to the line or distributions prior to this, so we're not exactly sure what we're looking at. The functional users and I have tested and don't find any visible difference or option. I'm including the description and link below. Thanks!

    Jon

    Upgrade notes:

Change account and budget date on open purchase orders, even if subject to budgetary control. You can make the changes if there are no project references on the purchase order distributions. The necessary funds checks and adjustments to funds reservations and encumbrance accounting when applicable are handled based on the updated information. This is done by automatically liquidating funds reserved against the old account and budget date, and reserving funds to the new account and budget date.

Can Supplier Portal Page be Customized With DFF's From...5

Can Supplier Portal Page be Customized With DFF's From Purchase Order?
    Summary:
Can Supplier Portal Page be Customized With DFF's From Purchase Order?
    Content:

I want to be able to create a Purchase Order DFF and see that information in Supplier Portal.

I read the note in Oracle support: Can Supplier Portal Page be Customized With DFF's From Purchase Order? (Doc id 2411317.1), and it is not clear for me.

in the note said: a) it is not possible to customize the Supplier Portal page. b) PO page can be customized so that the DFF’s are only visible to someone having the Buyer Role. This will then dictate the same DFF visibility on the Supplier Portal page. To do this, create a custom expression at PO line level and stipulate the DFF’s visibility only when user has Employee role.

I don't understand this because Suppliers will not have the Buyer Role. So it is not clear for me.

Did someone had this requirement before?

Can we use project financials mapping set in procurement...1

Can we use project financials mapping set in procurement transaction account builder?
    Summary:
Can we use project financials mapping set in procurement transaction account builder?
    Content:

    Hi All,

Here is the scenario: We already have modified the SLA rules in Project Financial management and to derive one of the segment we are using a mapping set. The input source of the mapping set is 'Project descriptive flexfied 2' at project header.

Now, we are implementing Procurement where we will create project based purchase orders and accordingly need to derive PO charge account using project attributes in transaction account builder (TAB). Following are my questions:

    1. Can I use the same account rule in TAB that are already defined in Project Financials? I see many of them are available in drop down in TAB PO charge account. However when I select them and tries to build account, it gives error.

    2. Assuming I will have to setup account rules within in Purchasing application to be used in TAB, can I use the same mapping set which we already defined in Project Financials? In TAB also, my requirement is to derive one of the segment using 'Project descriptive flexfied 2' at project header. My observation is that I don't see any mapping set which in not defined within Purchasing application.

Please clarify for me. Appreciate your help.

    Thanks/Amit

In Cloud R12, we were able to close a PO (change status from Open to Closed) and no AP Invoices were able to match.

Now in R13 when the PO status changes from "Open to Closed", an AP Invoice can still be matched?

Contract approval history no longer expanded by default
    Content:

Not a major issue, but curious about making the approval history section on a contract expanded by default. With 19C, it is no longer expanded by default. Is this controlled through a setting, or built into the system design and unable to change?

    Thanks,
    Jon
