    Summary:
Query to See the Approver Name on Whom a PO is Pending For Approval
    Content:

Most of the time we get an SR with requirement to see or extract on which approval level a PO is pending currently for approval. And customer wants a Query for this. Below is the Query we have prepared which will give on whom the PO is currently pending for approval. You can prepare an OTBI report to get the extract of all open POs and you can modify the query as per what column you need.

    SELECT poh.segment1
    ,approval_instance_id, assignees, wf.outcome, wf.state ,wf.workflowpattern, wf.title, wf.componentname, wf.compositename, pov.change_order_status
    FROM
    fusion.po_versions pov, fusion.po_headers_all poh  , fa_fusion_soainfra.wftask wf
    WHERE pov.po_header_id = poh.po_header_id
    and pov.change_order_status = 'PENDING APPROVAL'
    and pov.approval_instance_id=wf.compositeinstanceid
    and poh.segment1=  '1004752' -- PO Number
    and state='ASSIGNED'
    and assignees is not null
and workflowpattern not in ('AGGREGATION', 'FYI')
    and componentname='DocumentApproval'

    Thanks

    Deepak.

How to write approval rules for “Outside Processing Purchase Order” through BPM?
    Content:

    Hi all,

When we are releasing the work order our requisitions are auto approving and POs are getting created automatically. As per the Oracle, we can't control the approvals of PR so we want to enable the approval flow for the purchase orders(OSP orders). If anyone has any idea on how to create a BPM rule for these kinds of POs please let me know.

    Approved requisitions not generating PO's
    Content:

We are finding that some of our requisitions are still in process status because it requires a negotiation to turn into a PO. Oracle support supplied a sql query to create a BI report, however I can't seem to make it work. Has anyone created an analysis to help with this that they would be willing to share? The query that was supplied looked like this:

    SELECT prh.requisition_number

PO PDF in Language of SupplierAnswered45.0

PO PDF in Language of Supplier
    Content:

    Hi,

I'm looking for the functionality to have the PO PDF print depending on the Supplier (address) language.

Currently I've made a default template in French under the locale 'English', a template in Dutch under locale 'Dutch' and a template in French under the locale 'French'.

The Supplier address language is Dutch.

When viewing the PDF on a PO for this supplier, it keeps taking a French version, because the user preference language is in French?

Is it not supported to have PO PDF based on Supplier language?

    Thanks.

R13: Source to Settle Home Page question about context and supply base infolet
    Content:

After reviewing the training related to the R13 Source to Settle Home page I have the following questions in relation to the context for the Procurement Manager and modifying the Supply Base infolet.

Is the data presented to the user restricted to the buyers that report to the employee or is this for all data in the procurement BU that the employee has access to as long as they have the Procurement Manager or Category Manager job roles?

The Supply Base infolet allows for viewing by Supplier Type, Business Relationship (Prospective/Spend), and business classification (small business, minority owned, etc).  However we use Product and services to categories our suppliers, is it possible to modify this infolet to also include the breakdown by Products and Services as well?

Need the concept/logic behind why Retroactive pricing is viable only with Non-Cumulative Price Break and not with Cumulative Price Break in BPA on Procurement Cloud ?
    Summary:
We have a request from our client to have Retroactive pricing under Cumulative Price break in Blanket Purchase Agreement.
    Content:

    Hi all,

    Based on my research,

For a retroactive pricing to reflect, it is suggested to choose price break type as Non-Cumulative.

Need to understand the relation between Price Break and Retroactive Pricing, an explanation with a Business example would help.

Please refer this document ID in My Oracle Support - (Doc ID 2259539.1)

    Thank you,

How to Reassign or add two approvers at a time for a BIP Approvals
    Content:

Recently, we updated our Purchase Order Approvals and Requisition Approvals from ADF to BIP notifications.

In older approval notifications we use to have a option for AdHoc add participant, where we can have series of Approvers.

But with the update, I dont see Adhoc Option and I dont see any option to add two approvers in Serial.

    Please check the attached image.

    How to create UNSPSC reports1

    How to create UNSPSC reports
    Content:

We have client requirement to setup the UNSPSC codes structure along with the commodity (category) codes in Oracle Procurement.

The procurement category hierarchy ( hierarchy levels) along with functional area catalog (categories) in Oracle fusion will partially meet this requirement but there is no field for UNSPSC codes.

    - Which field can be used for the UNSPSC codes?

    - How can I build a report using the procurement hierarchy levels and categories assigned to each level?

    - Is it possible to develop a report on level 1 and report spend on categories under level 1? Aggregated report based on the top category level.

    - Is it possible to drill down from level 1 to level 3 to analyse spend at each UNSPSC level.

    UNSPSC example is given below.

Level 1   - Information Technology Broadcasting and Telecommunications (43000000)

    Level 2   - Software (43230000)

Level 3 - Finance accounting and enterprise resource planning ERP software (43231600)

Level 4 (category) - Financial analysis software (43231604)

    Thanks.
