    Check if the person submitting the Expense Report has a manager assigned. If yes, open SR to bounce the server.

    Actually we have opened separate Employee expenses and Business expense template (User requirement) and different expense items under each template

    Now we have the requirement that one expense report should have Employee expense items or Business expense items, Should not have items of both templates in the single expense report so we want to define the auto-reject rule for it and tried but it does not work

    Hi Jennifer, yes, I use it to hide all the menu items that we don't want people to see (functionalities we are not using.)  When you hide things here it is done globally unless you build an expression to make something visible to some but not all users.  Glad you found my answer helpful!  Wendy

    Do you also use structure to manipulate navigation that you can't control with Security.  For instance all of our employees have a custom 'Employee' role, they are seeing navigation such as Pay, Benefits and Onboarding that we don't want them to see but I don't see where in the Role they are granted that access.

    We've solved the issue with updating the employees' Business Unit because our team configurated the expense account depends on Business Units.

    The documentation says

    "When user submits their expense report, a snapshot of your Google Map with the route is attached to the expense report as a supporting document. The map doesn’t display actual addresses. The map attachment is also visible to expense report approvers and auditors"

    We are not able to find this snapshot attached anywhere as supporting document

    See the screenshot attached. You can create bank account in expense module and all the expense reimbursement will be paid into the account. Whichever account that is primary will show up in Payables.

    Hi Jennifer, you can remove items from the Springboard (and the Navigator as well) in


    I'm assuming this is what you want - to remove visibility of icons for functionality you are not using.

    Ideally , should not matter , since the child lines i.e.. Hotels - Asia , Hotels-Europe etc. would have their own policies tagged and hence would be applicable per their policies attached

    When a particular child line is selected , automatically , the policies linked to them would come into effect

    This is a great workaround. I am wondering though where/how you assign the policies?

    We have for example an Expense Item for Hotels - Asia, another for Hotels - Europe and another for Hotels - Middle East. Each of these have different rates and therefore different policies.

    We use the below workaround , We created a generic expense type called Allocation and enabled itemization and added all the other expense types under this Allocation Expense type

    Once allocation expense type was selected ( we disabled the direct charge to this Parent) , we selected the child expense types and split the charge at cost centers

    This is helpful especially for splitting credit card lines to multiple cost centers
