We have developed a custom application in Oracle PaaS using JET. We would like to integrate it with Oracle Sales Cloud for single sign on authentication and seamless business processes. Kindly advise how do it.

REST Adapter Response payload truncated error4

    Title:
REST Adapter Response payload truncated error
    Summary:
    getting "Payload truncated" error
    Content:

We are invoking an ASMX web service using the REST adapter (there is no WSDL so we can't use SOAP), it is working with SoapUI directly to the service, but when we invoke the service through OIC's REST adapter, the request goes through, but we are getting an error saying it failed processing the response payload. And in the log file we are seeing the response payload in the log file up until it says "Payload Truncated" about 2/3rds way through the response data. Is there a limit to how much data can come back in the response?

The full payload is 7.6MB. This is a vendor's web service so we have no way to get them to change it or provide a service that only gives us the data we want, they send all data back even though we only need 2 fields from that whole payload.

Error : While running the integration i am getting Error "No response received within response time out window of 240 seconds"
    Summary:

While running the integration i am getting Error "No response received within response time out window of 240 seconds

oracle.cloud.cpi.agent.transport.aq.CpiAQException: No response received within response time out window of 240 seconds. Agent may not be running, or temporarily facing connectivity issues to Oracle Integration Cloud Service. Please check the health of the Agent in Agent Monitoring page.:Application Error

Is there any possibilities to increase the time out error time in OIC?

or this 240 seconds is fixed?

    Thanks in advance

Error in OIC integration with OECAnswered2

    Title:
Error in OIC integration with OEC
    Summary:
Currently the following schemes are not supported: oracle/wss_username_token_client_policy
    Content:

    Hello,

I've created and activated a new OIC integration with the standard OEC adapter, where OEC will call this integration. When I create the web service in OEC I got this error:

Currently the following schemes are not supported: oracle/wss_username_token_client_policy

and it only allows to create the web service with "Call with basic authentication". I go ahead and when I trigger the integration in OEC, I get this error:

Exception in expression "OpportunityVO" object function pushOpportunityToOIC() :
    oracle.binding.expr.ServiceInvocationException Unexpected exception caught:
javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException, msg=javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Missing WWW-Authenticate header.:
    javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed:
Missing WWW-Authenticate header.: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Missing WWW-Authenticate header.
at "OpportunityVO" object function pushOpportunityToOIC() line 24
    at "oracle.apps.sales.opptyMgmt.opportunities.model.entity.OpportunityEO" trigger "pushOpportunity_BU" line 1

    Error
Message send failed: Missing WWW-Authenticate header.

Is there any sort of security set up that I need to add in OIC or IDCS so the security is properly set up?

Also, I managed to trick OEC to workaround the error when creating the web service: I removed the Service option, so all the Security Scheme are available, I select "Call with separate user credentials over SSL", then select the Service again and Save and Close. With this set up, I can trigger the integration properly, get no errors, and the OIC integration is properly executed.

Is it maybe just a bug in OEC?

Just want to make sure that my OEC-OIC communication is secure.

    Thanks in advance

19C Sourcing Update: Enhanced Supplier Negotiations REST Web...5.0

    Title:
19C Sourcing Update: Enhanced Supplier Negotiations REST Web Service
    Summary:
Use Supplier Negotiations REST web service to create draft negotiations
    Content:

In 2018, A REST web service to support 'GET' operation was delivered for Supplier Negotiations. This API could be used to query supplier negotiations in order to build extensions for integration with external systems.

In cloud update 19C, this REST web service API is modified to enable 'POST' action for certain resources and attributes. This enables creating draft negotiations with lines, collaboration team members, and suppliers.

The modified REST API can now be used to add the following entities in a draft negotiation:

    • Add negotiation lines in batches
    • Add negotiation line attributes, with target values and acceptable response values
    • Add and set negotiation flexfield values (DFF). Negotiation header level internal/external, and line level internal DFFs are supported. For internal DFFs only, values can be set throughout the negotiation lifecycle.
    • Add price breaks or quantity based price tiers
    • Add suppliers, or a supplier list.
    • Add collaboration team members

I'd like to hear your inputs as to which approach is better in terms of efficiency, performance and maintenance when connecting to Oracle DB Cloud items (ex: table) from Integration Cloud - DB Adapter Operations or RESTful Services (ORDS)?

How to generate access token for Share point REST API in ICS
    Summary:
Developing integration to upload file on share point using share point REST API
    Content:

    Hello,

I am developing integration to upload files to microsoft share point. There are 2 steps to upload file to share point.

    1) generate access token

    2) call REST API using access token.

currently I am using following POST REST API to generate access token.

    https://accounts.accesscontrol.windows.net/231dd9cd-ddc7-5fgf-ae78-9f4ac3c912e7/tokens/OAuth/2

below are the request payload for the REST API.

    <nsmpr2:grant_type>client_credentials</nsmpr2:grant_type> <nsmpr2:client_id>8d93d6a6-861a-4394-aa24-fb4a60a975ce@123dd9cd-ddc7-4fba-ae78-9f4ac3c912e7</nsmpr2:client_id> <nsmpr2:client_secret>YgLYsm8mMKaY3phiW5+BQ2taOkBO0Ujg+UJ7OUTfYlw=</nsmpr2:client_secret> <nsmpr2:resource>00000003-0000-0ff1-ce00-000000000000/hitachiconsulting.sharepoint.com@231dd9cd-ddc7-4fba-ae78-9f4ac3c912e7</nsmpr2:resource>

While running integration i am getting error as attached in image. With same payload i am able to generate token through Postman.

Can anyone help me to resolve this issue ?

I have Export the IAR file from One OIC Instance.

    1. Is it IAR having All the dependencies like lookups and libraries or we need to export dependency lookups and libraries

    2. If IAR having All the dependencies while importing to another OIC it will automatically import All the dependencies or we need to import separately ??

     Thanks in advance.
