FCCS_Mvmts_Total of base entities doesn't aggregates to FCCS_Mvmts_Total of parent entity only for Aug
    Content:

    Hi All,

I have come across an issue where FCCS_Mvmts_Total of base entities doesn't aggregate to the FCCS_Mvmts_Total of parent entity only for the month of Aug. Prior months are aggregating correctly. I have tried all the operations such as running force/regular consolidation, refresh database, clearing out all the data for the month and reload then consolidate, but didn't resolve the issue.

Note: consolidation operator for the all the entities have set to "Ignore"

Why is that? any settings I have missed? appreciate your help on this matter.

    Please refer the screenshot

    Regards,

    Ayeshan

Capture Data in Unlocked Cell in Protected Workbook Smart View Error
    Content:

    Hi

I've created an ad-hoc grid to enable users to load data into an OAC Essbase cube. I want to protect the Excel sheet so that users don't break the structure or change member names etc. but should be allowed to enter data where required.

I have unticked 'Locked' under Protection in Format cells for the cells where they should enter data. However, after I've protected the sheet, I'm getting a Smart View error that you cannot enter data into the unlocked cells and that the sheet should be unprotected. This is not an Excel error.

Alternatively, I can use Smart View Functions instead of an ad-hoc grid, but this slows down the submission and retrieval of data and you cannot submit text labels (Typed Measures) with Smart View Functions.

Anyone know how I can protect the Ad-Hoc Excel sheet but still allow users to enter data?

    Many thanks.

    Chris.

    Hi All

I'm trying to Embed Report - Grid into Report Package using Reference Doclet. The Report Grid has been embed into Report Package, but the report's width is not fit to the page.

Following are the steps i have performed:

    1. Create Report in Report Package
    2. Report properties used:
      • Page Size: A4
      • Orientation: Potrait
      • Fit to Page: Both
    3. Add Reference Doclet (Created Report) into the existed Report Package
    4. Perform Check-out, added Report Grid and Perform Check-in
    5. Open existed Report Package's Doclet in Smartview (Check-Out in MS Word)
    6. Embed Report Grid from Reference Doclet

Did anyone faced this issue so far? Solution to the issue highly appreciated.

    Thank You

    Valid Intersection Configuration4

    Title:
    Valid Intersection Configuration
    Summary:
    Has anyone successfully developed?
    Content:

In my Test application I have configured our full set of specific GL Account & Department Valid Intersections (each "rule" is composed of the account, its associated "valid" department combinations, plus the years of 2018 thru 2021).  This is necessary, because we occasionally see invalid combinations in entity loads but have no way to identify them; the presence of them causes FCCS's Net Income to be incorrect.  Now I am testing and viewing available reporting.   As a test, I loaded an entity load file to August 2019 via Data Management that includes an invalid account/department combination, and expect to see this invalid combination when I run an Invalid Intersection report.  But, I do not, even when I create the report that include the specific "invalid" intersection.   Additionally, when I run an "open" report with no optional dimensions, I only get data for FY2015.   This makes no sense, since I identify only FY18 thru FY21 within the rules .

I suspect my configuration is flawed - it seems straightforward so I have no idea what is flawed.   I can find nothing in Oracle publications to assist me.

Has anyone successfully developed Valid Intersections in FCCS who can tell me what I'm doing wrong?   I have attached an excel file that shows the invalid combo in an adhoc plus screenshots of my configuration.   I appreciate any guidance.

    Hi

Can you use an HSSet Smart View Function to submit a text label (Typed Measures)? If so, do you use HSSetValue or HSSetText? And what should the data input be? A value representing the text position in the list or the text itself?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I have created smartview ad-hoc template/report connecting Essbase - OAAC.  When I am trying to cascade the same, I am getting error "Sheet needs refresh. Refresh the sheet before performing cascading" even after the sheet is refreshed. Note that cascading works fine while ad-hoc or recreatiing the report/template.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

i'm facing an issue with EPRCS and especially the review cycle. Through SmartView and EPRCS i know how to add comment and close comment, but i'm wondering how to modify a doclet in the reviewing cycle.

What is the best practice to modify a doclet in this phase, with EPRCS and SmartView ? How can i see the comment link to a doclet and modify it (in the platform and with SmartView)?

Thank you very muck for your help.
