Source Organization defaulting same as Destination...2

Source Organization defaulting same as Destination Organization
    Content:

    Hi Team,

I am using the new feature as per below Note -

Fulfill Expense Requisitions for Agreement Based Catalog Items From Internal Sources Feature Functionality (Doc ID 2516818.1)

I have done the below setups -

    a) Opt-in 'Fulfill Expense Requisitions for Agreement Based Catalog Items from Internal Sources' must be enabled.

    b) Requester must have the privilege 'Create Internal Material Requisitions'

    c) The destination type should be 'Expense'

    d) A valid BPA must exist for the item

    e) The master item must be available in the appropriate Deliver-to Organization

    Source Organization - A

    Destination Organization - B

On-hand available in Source organization A.

All IMT setup is in place for the Item ( non-planned ) .

    I have below issue -

    1. When i am trying to add the Item through catalog, I am getting the below error.

An error occurred while retrieving the transfer price. Contact the Procurement application administrator. (POR-2010597)

    2. When I am going to 'Enter Requisition Line' and entering the Item. The Source Organization is defaulting same as Destination Organization i.e. 'B' and giving the below error.

An error occurred while retrieving the transfer price. Contact the Procurement application administrator. (POR-2010597)

I can manually change the Source Organization to A and continue without any issue and transfer Order gets created successfully.

    Please advise.

    Thanks,

    Akancha

Default of the Supplier Site Agreement in Purchase...15.0
Topic posted July 19, 2019 by AshokGold Crown: 30,000+ Points, tagged FAQ, How-To, Requisition Web Services, Setup in Procurement > Self Service Procurement public
    Title:
Default of the Supplier Site Agreement in Purchase Requisitions
    Summary:
How does the supplier site default to requisition lines
    Content:

    Business Context:

We have recently seen a few customers observe that even though they change the supplier site on a blanket agreement, the new site is not defaulted to the requisition line.

    Analysis:

Procurement agents create supplier purchase agreements and they can specify the client requisitioning business units that can purchase using the supplier agreement. Now, the agreement has several regions and tabs. In the main tab, the purpose of providing a supplier site is to determine certain default options such as currency, communication method, supplier acknowledgement, etc. It will default as the purchasing site in the control tab, if the procurement BU of the agreement is also a requisitioning BU.

Important: The supplier site in the main tab is not the site that defaults to the requisition in Self Service Procurement.

    Then where?

On the Controls tab of the agreement, in the Business Unit Access region, you specify the client requisitioning BU and provide the supplier site, ship-to location, and bill-to location for requisitions and purchase orders created for these client business units.

When you create requisitions in a requisitioning BU and use an agreement, the supplier and supplier site default from the agreement. The supplier site used in requisitions is the one defined in the Controls tab of the agreement for the client requisitioning BU that is active in the  Requisition's user's preferences.

Important: When you do a change order in the agreement to change the site in the main tab, the site in the controls tab will not automatically change based on the site of the main tab. This is probably why these customers don't see their change reflected on their requisitions. So, if you want the new site to apply to your requisitions, you must make the same change in the Controls tab of the agreement as well.

    NOTE:

When the supplier has multiple sites, you can check the option Allow ordering from unassigned sites on the Controls tab of the agreement. This option will allow requesters to choose any valid supplier site in the requisitioning Business Unit when creating requisitions. This capability is enabled when ordering using a smart form with a CPA, or through the Enter Requisition Line page.

Query - Smart forms (Global Catalog)3

    Title:
Query - Smart forms (Global Catalog)
    Summary:
Query - Smart forms (Global Catalog)
    Content:

    Hi

We are currently implementing procurement in the cloud for UK, US and Swiss.

    For UK

    1. I have defined a smart forms

Smart forms 1   - Supplier A, Category A  (UK BU)

Smart form 2     - Supplier B, Category B  (UK BU)

    2. Created  Content Zone (UK Content Zone) and assigned the smart forms above to the content zone

       - Security (available for all BUs)

    3. Created a catalog (UK Catalog)  - Procurement BU = UK BU

-Assigned the above UK Content Zone to the Catalog

I have repeated the above setup for US and CH Business Units

    Question1

Is there a simpler way of Implementing this i.e. Have one global catalog and have different content zones (UK, US and Swiss) under that catalog?

    Question2

If the same smart form is used across two BUs do I have to define it twice under each BU? Can I define the smart form once and use it across BUs i.e. UK and US content zone?

How to configure just spend authorized
    Content:

Currently we must enter in a product and service along with creating a role for the user to register the supplier. Is there a way to turn that off so we do not have to enter that on a Spend Authorized Supplier?

Is it possible to initiate approvals through Create Supplier or does it have to be Register Supplier?

Add DFF Dependency at 3th level for Inventory organization...

    Title:
Add DFF Dependency at 3th level for Inventory organization parameters
    Summary:
I am trying to add new descriptive flexfileds to inventory organization parameters wich are dependent at 3th level, is that possible?
    Content:

I am trying to add the following descriptive flexfields to an inventory organization parameters:

       1st level - Independent  -    Region

2nd level - Dependent    -    Zone         , depending of Region

3th level - Dependent     -    Subzone   , depending of Zone

When I try to associate the dependent DFF "Subzone", the system only shows independent DFFs as "Region"; but I need to associate to "Zone" wich i can´t  make it possible... Any Ideas?

    Thanks in advance

Context sensitive DFF for Catalog ItemsAnswered7

    Title:
Context sensitive DFF for Catalog Items
    Summary:
Context sensitive DFF for Catalog Items
    Content:

    Hi Fusion Gurus,

We have requirement, where client currently has multiple processes which needs different number of DFFs specific to the process. The processes are common to all BUs. So context sensitive at BU level cannot be a solution.

We have an option to take care of the non-catalog items where I am able to use smart forms for the same.

What is the option to create PRs for different processes where each process requires different additional information? This is for Catalog items. Again, the expense items defined in the system can be used across processes. So, restricting items against local catalog is not permitted.

    Thanks,

    Sanjit

Bypass CPA reference for Non catalog request4

    Title:
Bypass CPA reference for Non catalog request
    Summary:
Bypass CPA reference for Non catalog request
    Content:

We have suppliers for which we have active contracts (CPA) but the business sometimes buy from the same suppliers without a contract (Non catalog).

    Example:

    Supplier : Telstra

    Site: Melbourne

    CPA # 321231

In the current functionality if I used the above supplier and site in Non catalog requisition OR smart form (without any value in agreement field) all the requisitions automatically picks the CPA# 321231.

We have scenarios where business don't want the requisition to reference any existing contract (CPA) even though a CPA exists for the supplier and instead the non catalog requisition should be created without any agreement reference.

How can we bypass/avoid the existing CPA reference of supplier on the non catalog request?
