How to create a custom read online role to allow users to self serve reports that are segregated
    Content:

    Hi All

I am struggling to get to grips with one area of reporting and that is allowing users to self serve some key reports we have but I need them to be segregated to themselves/their own cost centre.

The reports I am looking to do is a procurement requester report I have build, and I want users to be able to see all POs that they have raised and are requester for. What custom role/seeded role is their so they can have a view of this report (I also want to pin this report onto there oracle homepage - is this possible?)

Another role I want to create is so that cost centre managers can see all POs raised to their cost centre only. How can I do this?

Finally I want to create a role for expenses where a manager can see a report of all expenses that their team (Line manager hierarchy) have raised. Is this easy to do?

    Thnx

Oracle BI Publisher - Report on Report Job History
    Summary:
Find a way to acquire all Report Job History listed and extract all data to Excel
    Content:

    Hi,

I used to be an Apps DBA\Technical application Support on R12 EBS back in the day and I wanted to know if we can extract all jobs running within Report Job History within BI Publisher?

If there is no obvious download 'all jobs and extract all'  button or does anyone know the SQL system tables which can help to retrieve all jobs history and their information such as when they were started, when they were run last, who owns the report.

This would be similar to acquiring jobs within concurrent manager.

    Thank you all.

    Barry

Report that shows Agents and BI Schedules
    Content:

We have multiple scheduled BI reports and Agents and we need a way to shift through them all.

I know the BI scheduled reports can be lookup through the Catalog, but we would like to export them for archive purposes.

Also, there is no way to see all of the Agents

Does anyone have any reports built that they could share or can anyone point me to the tables so I can build our own?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

We are looking to capture requisition in specific statuses (Approved, To Be Approved, Draft, Sourcing and Filled) for the last seven calendar days.  Look for assistance in creating a formula to capture that timeframe so I can set up a weekly agent to run the report.

    Agent LimitationsAnswered2

    Title:
    Agent Limitations
    Summary:
Encountering limitations on the exports from agents
    Content:

I am currently encountering an issue where exporting data through an agent is cutting off at 25,000 rows even though the agent is set to use data and CSV on the export option.

I understand there is a limit of 25,000 rows when you export through excel, however using data - csv usually bypasses this and uses the higher limit. However I am having trouble automating this through an agent.

Has anyone else encountered this issue or know a way around it?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I am trying to create a custom calculations to show the number of days a submission remains in a particular step and status. I've tried using the TIMESTAMPDIFF but it doesn't seem to work with CASE WHEN to specify the step and status. Any ideas of what I am doing wrong? Here is an example of the formula

TIMESTAMPDIFF (SQL_TSI_DAY, (CASE WHEN("Submission CSW Status - Historical"."Historical Step Name" = 'Recruiter Review') AND ("Submission CSW Status - Historical"."Historical Status Name" = 'To Be Reviewed') THEN Max("Submission CSW Status - Historical"."Submission Historical Status End Date") END),CASE WHEN("Submission CSW Status - Historical"."Historical Step Name" = 'Recruiter Review') AND ("Submission CSW Status - Historical"."Historical Status Name" = 'Reviewed') THEN Max("Submission CSW Status - Historical"."Submission Historical Status End Date") END)

Schedule report delivery on dynamic date parameter.
    Content:

Is it possible to schedule a report in OBIEE based on a dynamic date parameter via prompts built into the report? I don't want to build several reports to schedule based on the dynamic date. Instead I'd like to have one report that can be scheduled based on a month ago or 7 days ago if necessary.
