Using Integration Service with Azure and Aws

    Summary:
Connectivity with Azure and AWS with Oracle Integration Cloud
    Content:

My customer is interested to Integration Service.

They are considering to implement datalake in the company.
They have a lot of data from multiple sources.
The website or public information describes how to integration within Oracle Cloud. But in the multi-cloud era, the customer needs to think about other data source including Azure or AWS (using SQL Server or Redshift or S3 etc).

I am not sure the integrity of the Service of these vendors.

Connectivity issue between SOACS and Pluggable Database2

    Title:
Connectivity issue between SOACS and Pluggable Database
    Summary:
We receive Resource Dead Exception for the Datasource that we use to connect PDB from SOACS
    Content:

    Hi Team,

We are connecting to Pluggable Database from SOACS. Recently the PDB was upgraded to the latest version. From then, we see resource dead exceptions on the connectivity from SOACS. Support team tried reseting the connections, restarted the datasource, restarted the admin, managed servers.  The ACLs were also checked and made sure to be opened between SOA and PDB. I am able to connect to PDB seamless from outside SOACS.

    1. What could be the issue in this case in SOACS?

    2. What are the admin related activities that you expect to be checked/done in SOACS whenever a pluggable database is upgraded?

    Error Received in SOA :

Exception occurred when binding was invoked.
Exception occurred during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'insert' failed due to: Could not create/access the TopLink Session.
This session is used to connect to the datastore.
Caused by weblogic.jdbc.extensions.ConnectionDeadSQLException: weblogic.common.resourcepool.ResourceDeadException: 0:weblogic.common.ResourceException: Could not create pool connection for datasource 'ErpSaaSExtnNonXA'. The DBMS driver exception was: IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection.
You may need to configure the connection settings in the deployment descriptor (i.e. DbAdapter.rar#META-INF/weblogic-ra.xml) and restart the server. This exception is considered retriable, likely due to a communication failure.

Error Msgs or Error Log from ESS Job Call-Back OperationAnswered45.0

Error Msgs or Error Log from ESS Job Call-Back Operation
    Summary:
Does the ESS Job for Importing FBDI or Bulk Data has the option to get Error Messages or the Log file of the execution as an attachment on the CallBack Service?
    Content:

In our current integrations between SOA Cloud to ERP Cloud, we call the Cloud ESS Job for Importing FBDI or Bulk Data and it responds us with Job Status and ESS Job IDs of each of the Childs through a call-back service. As part of any new release, does the ERP Cloud ESS Job has the option to get Error Messages or the Log file of the execution as an attachment on the Call-Back Service? Or is there any other way we can get this through a web-service or rest-service call so that we can use this in our integrations. At present, we are manually looking up log files in ERP Cloud.

Using Dynamic Payloads for SOA Cloud ESS Job Set35.0
Topic posted September 11, 2019 by Arvind MathivananBronze Medal: 1,250+ Points, tagged Cloud, Integration, PaaS, SOACS in Integration > Integration public
    Title:
Using Dynamic Payloads for SOA Cloud ESS Job Set
    Content:

We use ESS as part of our SOA Cloud implementation. We have a case where we need to pass dynamic values for one of the field for an ESS Job that is part of a Job Set. Say Order Number is a parameter that I need to dynamically pass for the Job. In the Job Set creation, this field will be null for the Job as it can pull all orders during the schedule. The issue I see is  If I call the Job individually, it allows dynamic values but If I call the Job Set through ESS Web-Service, Even if I pass an order number for the Job, it's ignoring the dynamic value for Order number and only passes the default payload (order number as null) in Job Set. Am I missing something? If this is the expected behavior of Job Set, how would I be able to achieve this scenario?
