Now i'm confused, From where i can get its required attributes value?
e.g. BatchSourceSequenceId, CustomerTransactionId, CustomerTransactionTypeSequenceId, DocumentSequenceId, DocumentSequenceValue, PreviousCustomerTransactionId etc.
i can find just an informative line about these attributes at following URL

But i cannot find values for each of these attributes,
    Can anyone Please help me.

Is there a way to increase the length of input for the Cross Reference field that is located in the Miscellaneous tab within an Invoice in the Billing module?  Currently it is 30 characters long and would like to expand on that if it is possible.  Looking to see if can be done and how, what the length limit is?

Entered Amount column cannot be sorted on the Manage Transactions Page
    Summary:
Business Users cannot sort the Entered Amount column on the Manage Transactions Page
    Content:

    Release 11 Oracle Receivables Cloud

Recently we had a Business User raise an incident. The incident was that of the Entered Amount column not getting sorted on the Manage Transactions Page.

An error would be thrown when you try to sort the column (Ascending or Descending). Screenshot is attached.

The Business Impact here is that it makes it time-consuming to find chargebacks and POA’s. The user was unhappy because of this as well as the response we got from Oracle Support on the SR that we raised. The response from the SR was that this is a known issue (Bug 25651977) and the fix will only come in Release 13.

The user's question was why do they have to wait for Release 13 when the functionality was working in Release 11 and suddenly stopped working in Release 11. Although Support provided a workaround, it would have been better if they brought this fix either to Release 11 or 12.

    Content:

    Hello everyone

I am requesting other customers/consultants who have gone through a R12 upgrade on ERP Cloud in Test and/or Prod to share their experiences here. This may help the rest of the user community in their own upgrade projects. Specifically:

    1. Any issues faced

    2. Things to look out for

    3. Feedback on Security Console (and lack of OIM and APM)

    4. Payment Approval Workflow

    5. Multi Period Accounting (supposed to have been backported to R12)

    6. Any other lessons learned.

    Thanks!

    Ease of data entry45.0

    Title:
    Ease of data entry
    Summary:
Easier data entry of accounting code combinations
    Content:

There can be 2 ways to tremendously improve the data entry speed and efficiency of the users while entering segment values, for example GL journal or an AP invoice (Both of these features exist in EBS):

    1) Restrict users from proceeding to enter the next segment's value if the current segment value is incorrect:

Let's say there are three segments: Entity, Cost center and Accounts. If a value "99" is entered in the Entity segment which does not exist in the value set the system will allow me to proceed to enter the value for cost center. If an incorrect value is entered for cost center the system allows me to proceed to enter the value for Accounts and so on and so forth. The error only appears at the time of clicking Okay.

Ideally, if an incorrect value is entered search screen should popup then and there before proceeding to enter the next segment's value.

    2)   Simplified search for segment values:

When entering segment values if a user is not sure of a segment value, but knows that it starts with "2" these are the steps he will undertake:

    a. Click on the down button

    b. Click on the search button

    c. Enter "2" in the value

    d. Click search

Ideally, if the user is aware that it starts with 2 he or she should simply enter 2 and press tab, the system should open the search window which shows values that start with 2.

These 2 points may not seem like much but go a long way in reducing data entry speed. Moreover, it makes the system user friendly and intuitive as well.

Receivables - Customer Notes at Site Level13.0

    Title:
Receivables - Customer Notes at Site Level
    Summary:
Is there a way to create a Note at Site Level?
    Content:

We are on Release 11 of Oracle Cloud Financials.

The requirement is to create notes at Site Level but there seems to be no option for it.

The navigation we follow is Collections > Customer > Query the customer > Select the Entity (Party, Account) > Go to Notes Tab > Create a note

In the same view, we are allowed to select the Site (it gets highlighted) > Go to Notes Tab > Create a note (but it gets created at Account Level and not Site)

This is where we stand so far:

    1. Notes are stored in the table called ZMM_NOTES in the NOTE_TXT column, there is a column called SOURCE_OBJECT_OBJECT code which holds values like 'CUSTOMER_PARTY' and 'CUSTOMER_ACCOUNT'. This is fine, keeping in mind that in our environment notes were never created at Site Level

    2. On further investigation we found the table ZMM_OBJECTS_TL, there is a column in it called OBJECT_CODE which holds similar values as column SOURCE_OBJECT_CODE in ZMM_NOTES. We found the following values in it, 'CUSTOMER_PARTY' and 'CUSTOMER_ACCOUNT' and 'CUSTOMER_SITE' in it. So we have the value but no option to create a note at Site Level.

Please let us know if you have any information on this.

    Thanks,

    Brendon
