Unable to view all item attributes under specification tab in manage items
    Content:

I have created few items but I am not able to view few attribute values through UI example "outside opearation UOM type" and "outside operation flag". I have uploaded through FBDI by providing these values in the FBDI template and successfully imported items through FBDI but still these values are not inserted to the DB table as well.

Please advise if I am missing any thing?

UOM mismatch and quantity discrepancy between initial search...Answered104.5

    Summary:
UOM mismatch and quantity discrepancy between initial search and review cart screens - in scenario Fulfill Expense Requisitions for Agreement Based Catalog Items From Internal
    Content:

    1. Consider below scenario for Fulfill Expense Requisitions for Agreement Based Catalog Items From Internal Sources:

    Quantity = 1

Item purchasing UOM: Bag of 1000 (with 1000 Each as UOM conversion)

    Item issue UOM: Each

    2. Search for item in self service procurement

    3. Purchasing UOM appears for item with quantity = 1 (i.e. Bag of 1000)

    4. Add item to cart

    5.  Review cart. UOM changes to issuing UOM (but quantity remains one). Summary: Quantity value remains same but UOM changes at this step

    6. Initial quantity = 1000 Each (considering UOM conversion)

    7. Quantity during cart review = 1 Each

    8. Summary: UOM mismatch and quantity discrepancy between initial search and review cart screens

    9. Why bug? When user search, the quantity that appears is different from the quantity that appears when the user reviews the cart. This leads to operational impact (sufficient quantity not available) or excess inventory holding cost (excess inventory) if the users consider initial quantity as source of truth

    10. Suggested solution: For this scenario of internal intra-organization transfer for destination type expense, upon search with the given item, the initial search screen should return the issuing uom directly (instead of the purchasing uom).

If item is not internal transfer enabled in the given deliver-to location, then the purchasing UOM needs to come in the initial search screen.

    11. Conclusion: Kindly request to resolve this bug in 19D

With 15000 users having self service procurement, such kind of discrepancies lead a lot of operational and financial issues.  The impact is also documented above

User language session in PDF reports
    Content:

We are looking into using Response Tabulation report for communication to outer users.

On abstract page this isn't a problem since we can choose to display it in one language.

But in the application is a different situation.

Is there a an option to get the user (buyer/supplier) session language so we can display the results in their language?
Either to get it through data model or some other way?

User unable to view journal lines

Preexisting user is suddenly unable to view journal lines
    Content:

    Hi

We have a user who until yesterday was able to view journal lines, but has suddenly stopped being able to - he can see the header detail, but the journal line element of the page returns "no data to display" - he has access to all of the account codes within the journal, and there have been no changes to his roles.  Even more strangely, we have had a recent P-to-T copy done, and he can access exactly the same journal in Test, with no issues

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

Username Generation Rule for Supplier Contact User Accounts...

Username Generation Rule for Supplier Contact User Accounts and Employee Accounts
    Content:

    Hi,

We would like to have separate rules for supplier user account generation and separate user account rule for employees. How do we achieve this? We are in R13-19B version. Below is the scenario

    1. All employees user account should be created using employee number.

    2. All supplier user account should use email id as user name. Currently it is using party number for supplier account and we see that the party number for suppliers and employee numbers are conflicting as some of the numbers are same.

    Any solution for the above?

    Thanks

    Ramesh

Want to restrict supplier attachment accessAnswered1

    Title:
Want to restrict supplier attachment access
    Content:

How are other entities handling the supplier W9 records in Fusion Cloud? We allow many of our users to see/search supplier records for payables purposes, without access to tax ID. We want to save the supplier paperwork on the supplier record, but are not sure how to lock down the attachment to the small list of users who might need to see the tax information. Is there any security or configuration that can be done to accomplish this? Thanks!!
