    Title:
    Sharing OTBI Analyses
    Summary:
Need guidance on how to share OTBI templates with other internal users
    Content:

    Hi all!

I am new to Fusion and OTBI.  I have searched Oracle Support and the Library, but can't seem to find an answer to this issue we're having.

I have created an analysis in OTBI that we would like to share with other internal users.  I have currently saved it in My Folders of OTBI.  I have tried saving it to the Shared Folder, but I am denied access.

I assume this relates to security and that I need to have a particular security role added to my profile.  Is anyone aware of which particular role I require in order to have access to save to the Shared Folder?  Or is it something else entirely?

Appreciate any help you can provide.

    Thanks!

    Lisa

Show report results in dashboard with prompt
    Content:

    Hello,

I know there is an option to show the report results immediately within dashboard without clicking on the apply button of the prompt (after defining default value).
if someone can share his knowledge regarding this issue on how to do it it will be great!

    Thank you,

    Gal.

    Showing '0' for Null Value11

    Showing '0' for Null Value
    Summary:
How do you show a 0 value in place of a blank value on an analysis?
    Content:

    Hello,

We want to show the total number of something on an analysis (in this case Leads). If there were no Leads created on a day, we want to show '0' but instead our analysis is showing a blank value. I checked the box to "Include Null Values" and tried a case statement. It still shows blank value. See attached screen shots. Also, we need the actual value of 0 rather than just a cosmetic formatting issue. We need to be able to show the average number of Leads at the end of the analysis.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks, Stephanie

showing project reference details in OTBI
    Content:

We are trying to union both
Project Costing - Actual Costs Real Time and Payables Invoices - Transactions Real Time
or Project Costing - Actual Costs Real Time and Costing - Receipt Accounting Real Time

so we can show a report with actual project cost and reference details like invoice number , invoice line description , receipt number , PO number and PO line desc.

the problem we are facing that Project Costing - Actual Costs Real Time subject area has reference IDs not actual numbers however the payables and receipt subject areas do not have IDs so we can not link both subject areas using set operation UNION available in oracle transnational business intelligence.

Some columns have null values for certain records and record is not retrieved when the column is selected
    Content:

I am using "Fixed Assets - Asset Depreciation Real Time" subject area, and for some Records, the "Time"."Asset Calendar Period Name" is null.

In this case when I include the column "Time"."Asset Calendar Period Name" , the null records are dropped.

If I remove, the records are shown. How can I handle this scenario, as I need this column in the report

Spend in functional currency and what is "Invoice...2

    Title:
Spend in functional currency and what is "Invoice measures OBSOLETE"?
    Summary:
How to get spend in functional currency
    Content:

I have created a spend analysis based on "Spend Real Time" subject area. Problem is, some of our suppliers invoice as in different currency than in our functional currency (EUR), and if I use the "spend" attribute it just summs up the amount without considering the currency. Example: The supplier has spend of 5000 SEK, 5000 USD and 5000 EUR. The analysis shows a total spend of  15000. What I need it to show is the spend amount in our own functional currency, which is Euros.

I managed to find an attribute "Invoiced amount in functional currency" from the new subject area "Procure to Pay Real Time", but the folder where that attribute is named "Invoice measures OBSOLETE"...what does that "obsolete mean"?
