    Prediction and Recommendations in ODA
    Summary:
    Implementation for prediction and recommendations
    Content:

    Hello,

I'm looking for sample implementation for prediction and recommendations in Digital Assistant.

e.g. For banking use case, when the existing customer log into the bot based on his customer profile or previous interaction to the bot.

i would like to recommend him/her certain banking product i.e car loan or home loan.

Can you please guide me how this can be implemented in ODA.

    Regards,

    Vikhil

    Replicating Explicit invocation prompt3

    Title:
    Replicating Explicit invocation prompt
    Content:

    Hey Guys!

Is there any other way we can replicate the Explicit invocation prompt of the DA like when a user inputs a phrase into the digital assistant, the digital assistant determines how to route the conversation then a prompt will pop up asking the user if he wants to continue going to that skill. But we only want it within a skill where in switching from intent-to-another intent.

We are using the action-transition textReceived: "intent" but we want to have a prompt asking the user if he wants to continue going to another intent or remain to the current flow.

    thanks,

    Xena

    Error when calling Instant app
    Summary:
Getting an error httpError:500 when calling Instant app
    Content:

    Hey Guys!

We are getting an error 500 when calling the instant app. We checked the Variables and they're getting the values needed, We even checked the hardcoded ones but still we're getting this error, We also checked the other instant app and they are all getting this kind of error. Is there something going on with the Instant app feature of ODA?

    Sample Code:

      CallInstantAppPersonInfo:
        component: "System.Interactive"
        properties:
          sourceVariableList: "strDisplayName, str_sourceSystem, str_userinfoSAAS, str_PersonId"
          variable: "strAbsOutObj"
          id: "personInfo_myconciergenevada"
prompt: "Click link to change your Personal Information"
          linkLabel: "Let's go!"
          cancelLabel: "Ooh. Forget it."
          translate:
        transitions:
          next: "UpdateConfirmation"
          actions:
            cancel: "askAnything"

    Error:

    "errorState": "CallInstantAppPersonInfo",
          "errorMessage": "httpError:500",
          "currentDialogState": "defaultErrorHandler"

    thanks,

    Hi,

We are trying to integrate oracle digital assistant with google assistant, we want to know how we could achieve it without using any external servers like ngork, etc. for webhook urls. And if by any chance is oracle planning to release a channel for Google Assistant in near future or is it in the roadmap?.

    Authorization and Tokenization in ODA

    Title:
    Authorization and Tokenization in ODA
    Summary:
Use of Authentication Services for Oracle SaaS
    Content:

    Hi,

We are implementing the Authentication Services from the Oracle Digital Assistant. We have created a Service for Google and
implemented it which asks Google Id and Password for authentication which generates Token and stores in a variable, in code itself.

Navigation on ODA instance: Settings>>Authentication Services>>CreateService

Now, our requirement is to create authentication service for our Oracle SaaS instance. So our question is,
    1. How we can get the parameters which are asked while creating the service, namely Token EndPoint URL, Authorization EndPoint URL,
Client ID, Client Secret, Scopes & Subject Claim for the SaaS instance?

So that it will generate a Token for us,

Also, we would like to know if we could use this token to Access the reports from the SaaS instance? will reports accepts this tokens?

    Thanks,
    Satya

Accessing the Reports in ERP cloud with dynamic authentication
    Content:

    Hi,

We are using Digital Assistant to access "https://<host>/xmlpserver/services/PublicReportService?wsdl" WSDL and runReport operation from it. But case here is, we are passing authentication ( userid and password ) ina static manner. So every time the userid and password refreshes our Digital Assistant stops working untill we change that static authentication details,

Can we do this approach dynamically?

So that we do not have to enter authentication details evert time and Digital Assistant works flawlessly.

    Thanks,

    Satya

    Hi guys!

the user should input his UserName on the chatbot but the bot also translates the value in it. I also tried System.TranslateInput but doesn't work. How can we prevent the chatbot to translate the value in the variable?

Note that we have implemented the Auto-translation and it works properly.

Instant App blocks conversation when the link is ignored by...Answered4

Instant App blocks conversation when the link is ignored by the user
    Summary:
Chatbot not responding when user doesn't press the Instant App link
    Content:

    Hi,

We have a problem with the System.Interactive component. The Instant app works as expected when the user opens the link provided in the conversation. The problem occurs when the user wants to ignore the interaction with the instant app by entering free text to the conversation (without opening the link). It seems that the conversation is blocked and the bot is waiting for a response from the Instant app to continue. Even if we add textReceived as an action, the bot is not responding to the user's input, if the user doesn't press the link.

You can see below the component used in the dialog flow.
