"auto" cancel item reservation or release the item from inventory
    Summary:
"auto" cancel item reservation or release the item from inventory
    Content:

    Hi Experts,

I know when we receive an order we "reserve" material from inventory,

but what if the customer doesn't show up to pick the item from the inventory,

is there any way we can "auto" cancel the order or release the item from inventory so someone else can reserve it?

i.e. something like if the customer doesn't show up in 3 days to pick up the items then the inventory will release the items reserve (or we cancel the order)

    Best Regards

'Calculate Min-Max Planning Policy Parameters' not calculating the Min and Max Quantities of the Item
    Content:

    Hi Team,

We have setup the Min-Max Planning Classification Groups,Min-Max Planning Policy profiles and Min-Max Planning Policy Profile Assignments in our POD.

We have also uploaded 6 months of historical transactions for the item (Transaction type: In transit shipment).

After that we are submitting 'Calculate Min-Max Planning Policy Parameters' process.

The Process completes successfully without triggerring the 'Import Item' process and MIN MAX Quantities are not getting computed for the item.

Can you please help us with identifying the issue. Why MIN MAX Quantities are not getting computed?

Below is part of Log File i have pasted:

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    compute_policy_param function, v_org_id is 300000039088147

    compute_policy_param function, v_subinv_id is -1

19D: Requisitions for internally orderable items now created...6

19D: Requisitions for internally orderable items now created at purchase UOM rate
    Summary:
19D: Requisitions for internally orderable items now created at purchase UOM rate
    Content:

In most cases, our internally orderable units of measure are lower than the purchase unit of measure (e.g. EA vs BX).

Prior to 19D, if an internally orderable item was added to cart, it kept the quantity that the user entered but changed the UOM from the PUOM to the IUOM (e.g. 1 BX when added to cart became 1 EA). Now with 19D, when an item is added to cart, the quantity is multiplied by the intraclass conversion rate (e.g. 1 BX when added to cart is now 48 EA).

Is there a way to override this new system behavior? It is causing us many errors and inventory stock-outs due to requesters now ordering larger quantities than intended or expected.

As per the current ABC Classification Setup we can do either for only one Sub Inventory Level or at whole Organization Level. We want to have the choice for multiple Sub inventories. Please advise if this is possible.

Ability to mass update Item subinventory attributes
    Content:

    Hi All,

We are in the process of integrating Oracle cloud with 3rd party application. 3rd party system sends us lead times to be updated at item-subinventory level. Is there any way that we can seemlessly integrate this to bring in the data. We are aware of Export/import CSV functionality available at Manage Subinventory and locators task. But, this would be a manual approach which doesnt fit our requirement.

Doc id 2195433.1 mentions that we dont have FBDI/webservice capability available. Is it true even in 19A? Any help/pointers on this are highly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Anand

       1st level - Independent  -    Region

2nd level - Dependent    -    Zone         , depending of Region

3th level - Dependent     -    Subzone   , depending of Zone

When I try to associate the dependent DFF "Subzone", the system only shows independent DFFs as "Region"; but I need to associate to "Zone" wich i can´t  make it possible... Any Ideas?

    ADFDI depreciation
    Content:

    Hello experts,

Just wanted to put forth some views regarding decision to depreciate ADFDi slowly across modules. ADFDi method is widely used by many of our customers and they feel comfortable using the same. Now, with Oracle taking decision to depreciate this feature altogether doesnt go down too well among our customers and have expressed their displeasure. Alternative for this proposed by Dev team is to use FBDI and its not easy to use.

it is better we enrich a functionality/feature rather than completely taking it away!

    Thanks,

    Anand
