Our customer has multiple EBS instances. We are in the process of implementing SCP cloud which will have these EBS instances configured as source instances. Customer has multiple instances of EBS owing to some business decisions. In that case, can we have consolidated/global demand & supply plans having these EBS instances configured as source?
In other words, We are looking for the feasibility of having multiple EBS instances configured as source systems to generate a single/global supply plan. The single/global plan should have the capability to generate supply recommendations for all Organizations defined in different EBS instances. Thank you.

Sales team have no idea when a supply shortage or supply delay occurs. the earlier scheduled ship date (SSD) is not revised by any automated process. Hence, sales team does not know if they will be in a position to meet the customer demand on time or if they have to communicate any potential delay to the customer. We are not using "reservation" in the order orchestration flow, and all ship-from warehouse orders go to "Awaiting Shipping". only when warehouse is trying to pick a product to fulfill the sales order, is when they realize that they have a shortage. that finding may lead the users to information on a delayed PO or supplier shipment.
We tried to leverage "Oracle Social Networking" as a way for planners and sales to communicate but its something too cumbersome to be adopted in a business operation process due to volume of demand and supplies.
If any one has faced this challenge and can share any insights on how to address it using the "out of box capabilities" available, it will be very helpful.

Some basic questions.
1) FDBI Templates for BOM. Looks like we do not have a BOM in Cloud. I could not find FDBI templates and we only have BOR FBDI templates. So we do not have BOM in Cloud..Is BOR the way to capture the components.
2) We have requirement to forecast three Data streams for any Assmebly
a) Regular Sales Business - We can use Shipment History/Booking History FG1. We can setup a BOM/ BOR to procure the manufacturing BOM. I get this.
b) Rental Services Business- Rental business is tricky case of (Regular Sales Business ) Shipments as the same Assembly FG1 can we rented for multiple times. May be we can separate the two business using say Demand Class or different Orgs.
c) Spares business- The assembly FG1 can repaired and it needs different repair materials as its repair BOM. Can somebody advice me how to model a repair BOM vs manufacturing BOM in same Org.
Can someone advice how to model the BOM/BOR?
I am assuming there is no BOM in Cloud Supplying Planning. Can someone correct my understanding.

In 'Collect Planning Data' Run-->Under Demand Management Tab-->We have an option 'Enable Sales Organization hierarchy collection'
What is this option used for?
What data does it collects from OPS if the the check box is enabled during collection?
Is this check box option linked to any of the 'Dimension Hierarchy' in the Planning analytics Area?
We just want to make sure if we can leverage this option in our Implementation Project which might benefit our client.
Any suggestion on this topic will be a great help to us in the project.

In Demand Planning, Do we have capability to Purge/Delete the Data of Table: Audit Trail of Measure Updates?
We have lot of updates on our Demand Management tables on various measures and this creates lot of records and historical data in table : Audit Trail of Measure Updates.
Can we delete this Audit trial data by any chance. Is there any Scheduled process to purge this table?

Do we have capability to do the Product Launch in Mass? I mean any FBDI Upload available?

We are generating the forecast for 24 Months in our Demand Plan.
We have an requirement to archive the Entire Plan Horizon (24 Months) so that Lags gets calculated for Measure 'Final Shipment Forecast' for Entire Plan Horizon and not just 3 Months which Oracle Provides in its Seeded Measures like 'Final Shipments Forecast 3 Months ago' etc.
We want to know how can we achieve this. What measure expression should we create to achieve this type of requirement?
Can any one please suggest on this topic. It will be a great help to us.
