    Title:
Retained Earnings Prior and Retained Earnings Current movement behavior
    Summary:
Retained Earnings Prior and Retained Earnings Current movement behavior
    Content:

Hi, while trying to configure the Changes of Equity report I started to notice a strange behavior, at least for me, regarding the two accounts mentioned on the summary

While I agree that the Retained Earnings Current should have an Opening Balance movement, the value in the Closing Balance or Total Movements for every month should only be the value coming from the Net Income account, I think there is a movement missing that would cancel out that opening balance because that account should start from scratch every year the same way flow accounts work.

Also I don't understand how the Retained Earnings Prior account work since it should keep it's original Opening Balance but also have a different movement where the closing balance from the Retained Earnings should go, could you explain this behavior ?? I can't find any documentation on how this values are getting calculated, is it also normal that if I input and Opening Balance Adjs movement on the Retained Earnings Prior account it gets copied to the Retained Earnings account ??

Please check the screenshot with the examples to the first two questions (with Retained Earnings I meant Current, my bad)

    Thanks

    Net Income Migration
    Summary:
YTD not calcualting in forms after NetIncome data Migration
    Content:

    Hi,

So we have moved all our Income Statement data from No Movement to Changes in Net Income. What we have just realised is the form FCCS_Income Statement by Period is show Periodic Values for YTD POV as well. On digging further it seems like the problem is due to movement dimension being fixed at Total Movement. When I change the movemenet memeber to Changes in Net Income the YTD values are shown correctly. Has anyone else facing this issue or I have broken soemthing in my pod? Enclsoed the screenshots.

    Regards

    Karan

    FCCS_Net Income Moves in 17.05
    Summary:
The Effects of the movement of FCCS_Net Income as a child of FCCS_Retained Earnings Current
    Content:

In 17.05 FCCS has move FCCS_Net Income as a child of FCCS_Retained Earnings Current.  The attached document details the effects of this change and steps the user needs to take.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Document has been updated for reporting clarification.  To get Periodic and QTD Net Income the movement member should be FCCs_Mvmts_Subtotal.  FCCS_ClosingBalance and FCCS_Movements will always represent YTD Net Income.  There is no opening balance for YTD because this is current year retained earnings.  All previous years are included in Retained Earnings Prior.

Actual GAP between FCCS and HFM
    Summary:
Hi, we have an opportunity in one customer and we must be sure that in this June 2017 there´s no Functional GAP between HFM (on premise) and FCCS (cloud) for proposing the right one
    Content:

We have to choose between FCCS and HFM for offering our customer, ideally we want to offer cloud, but the consolidation process it´s really complicated so we have to choose the right one, I heard that advance consolidation it´s not yet in the cloud solution, anyone knows when HFM and FCCS will have the same features? ..

    Regards

    David.
