Hi All,
We are on R12. Once we configure PO approval rules in the system, we would like to validate the rules through a report. Is there a standard report available or please share if you have one built? Other than report, is there any other way to validate?
Thanks, Bala.
Hi,
We have a Requirement to Display the Preffered Name from Employee profile in the PO - Deliver to Contact name.
Is this supported? if so how to modify this in the PO PDF RTF template?

Hi,
We have a business scenario where we have contracts with items that have options that have negative pricing. This allows a requester to substitute an option with a lower priced one and effectively change the price of the item to be purchased. We have tried to use the CTO Blanket Agreement to define the configuration and the options with negative prices. But we are not able to generate the requisition of this CTO BPA and select the options required. How can this scenario be acheived using Self Service Procurement and Purchasing? Below is the business case of a contract with pricing we are trying to model.
VEH-001 TANDEM AXLE CHASSIS, Minimum 60,000 GVWR with 14' Dump Body Hydraulics, $120,000
VEH-OPT001A DEDUCT: Fuller 13 Speed Model RTLO-12913A OR RTLO-14913A In lieu of Allison Automatic -$7000
VEH-OPT001B DEDUCT: manual transmission in lieu of Allison Automatic -$6500
VEH-OPT001C Parts CD-ROM For Chassis and Engine $300

Hi,
We are on R12. We have scheduled some ESS jobs and found that some of the jobs were failing often (for various valid reasons). We would like to generate a report with the process id, job name (not definition), arguments, submitted by, status, scheduled time and completed time. Is there a standard report available or have anything built custom?
Regards, Bala.
Hi,
We are looking for options to use custom report to pull the close schedules for PO as the parameter to pull in the close schedule is not sufficeient to pull the right data like pulling PO based on Supplier etc.
Can we copy paste the custom output and delete the data pulled by the standard parameter and upload it? Will this worrkaround work?
I tried few iterations to upload but that did not work. I deleted the existing rows in the ADF excel and inserted new rows with the action as Close. That did not work. Any ideas on how to manage this?
I also see a Bug 27843777> - closing purchase order schedules using a spreadsheet for adding some additional parameters like supplier, Order status etc.
Thanks
Ramesh
We have received queries via Forum Posts and other channels asking if there was an automated mechanism available for requesters to engage in a supplier registration process. This was seen as as needed by certain organizations that had the following requirements:
How we have supported this requirement:
With this intent in mind, we introduced a privilege entitled 'Submit Supplier Registration' as part of Release 11. This privilege was not associated to any of the Self Service Procurement job roles out of the box. Organizations which saw a need to allow their requesters or a subset of them to register new suppliers can choose to assign this privilege to these specific users.
With this privilege, a new task entitled 'Request New Supplier' will be available to the users from the Shopping Home page. Selecting this task will allow the users to enter all available details to enable creation of the new supplier. Of course, this supplier request will then be routed through the appropriate supplier approval hierarchy that has been configured by the buying organization.
Once the supplier request is approved, the new supplier is created either as a Prospective or a Spend Authorized supplier. This supplier will then be available to the requesters to select on their shopping flows including the Enter Requisition Line or Create Non-Catalog Request and so on.
Implementation Considerations:
