"Apps Document Currency Code" in Procurement - Procure To Pay Real Time
    Summary:
"Invoice Currency" missing in Procurement - Procure To Pay Real Time Subject Area.
    Content:

In 19B version, the invoice currency seems to be missing in Procurement - Procure To Pay Real Time Subject Area (Procurement - Procure To Pay Real Time -> Invoice Additional Attributes -> Invoice Currency). There is "Apps Document Currency Code" instead but the documentation does not have any information about this, logical sql provides source as "Procurement - Procure To Pay Real Time"."Invoice Additional Attributes"."Invoice Currency". Is there any specific significance for this column "Apps Document Currency Code"?

    XML Structure of BIP report35.0

    XML Structure of BIP report
    Content:

Hi, I need to create a BIP report which is extracted as an XML. Below is the sample xml structure and sample XSD. How do I define an attribute of an element while creating data model/structure of the report?

In XML output, the attribute field gets defined as an element  hence the structure is different than what is expected.

my BIP report is based on SQL query data model.

Oracle Fusion BI Publisher Custom Physical SQL Security3
Topic posted September 16, 2019 by Praveen Kumar, tagged BI Publisher, Fusion Financial reporting, Fusion Procurement reporting, Reports in Reporting and Analytics for ERP public
    Title:
Oracle Fusion BI Publisher Custom Physical SQL Security
    Summary:
Oracle Fusion BI Publisher Custom SQL - Security Considerations
    Content:

    Hi,

When you create a Business Intelligence Publisher data model with physical SQL, you have two options.

    You can:

    • Select data directly from a database table, in which case the data you return isn't subject to data-security restrictions. Because you can create data models on unsecured data, you're recommended to minimize the number of users who can create data models.

    • Join to a secured list view in your select statements. The data returned is determined by the security profiles that are assigned to the roles of the user who's running the report.

The above listed statement is only applicable from an HCM BI Publisher reporting perspective and not sure how this custom SQL security will be handled in SCM & Finance modules?

It appears data returned for custom SQL BI Publisher report is determined by the security profiles that are assigned to the roles of the user who's running the report in HCM area and how does this work in SCM & Finance modules?

    Summary:

If we decide to cater some of the reporting requirements via BIP Data model - using a custom physical SQL approach, then how the security is handled in case of a BIP Custom SQL that has tens of tables information across all three modules (HCM/SCM & Fin) modules.

Please help me with your valuable inputs.

    Thanks

    Praveen

    PO-Requisition cross-subject area report2

PO-Requisition cross-subject area report in fusion saas
    Content:

I am trying to create a simple cross-subject OTBI Analysis to display PO details alongwith the Requisition details and Requisition Preparer. I tried using combination of Procurement - Purchasing Real Time/Procurement - Requisitions Real Time/Procurement - Procure to Pay Real Time subject areas but not able to get the join condition working between PO distribution and Requsition distribution.

For example, if I use below logical query, the PO data is displayed correctly but the data from requistion is resulting in a cross-product. Is there a way to use the subject areas here to display the columns logically?

    SET VARIABLE PREFERRED_CURRENCY='User Preferred Currency 1',ENABLE_DIMENSIONALITY=1,PREFERRED_CURRENCY='Document Currency';SELECT
       0 s_0,
"Procurement - Purchasing Real Time"."- Purchase Order Distribution Detail"."Distribution Number" s_1,

Cannot see HZ_GEOGRAPHY_IDENTIFIERS_VL view with Custom Geography Type in Data Model
    Content:

    Hi

I have LACLS Colombia reports into Oracle ERP Cloud.

However, they do not show information, because HZ_GEOGRAPHY_IDENTIFIERS_VL view does not show geography code type as I created and associated it to the geography hierarchy.

This is SR where we found this issue: SR 3-20756472981 : Error in LACLS Colombia Reports.

We want to know if I cannot see information in this view because I have not run any process or I do not have role related with it.

    Thanks.

    Cristian.

    Procure-to-Pay RT subject area - approver name1

    Summary:
Procure-to-Pay RT subject area - approver name
    Content:

I am attempting to update my existing P-to-P reports to leverage the P-to-P RT subject area; this subject area didn't exist when I wrote my initial reports, so they currently run in BIP across the following tables:

    "FUSION"."POR_REQUISITION_HEADERS_ALL" "POR_REQUISITION_HEADERS_ALL",
     "FUSION"."POR_REQUISITION_LINES_ALL" "POR_REQUISITION_LINES_ALL",
     "FUSION"."HZ_PARTIES" "HZ_PARTIES",
     "FUSION"."POZ_SUPPLIERS" "POZ_SUPPLIERS",
     "FUSION"."GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS" "GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS",
     "FUSION"."PO_LINE_LOCATIONS_ALL" "PO_LINE_LOCATIONS_ALL",
     "FUSION"."PO_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL" "PO_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL",
     "FUSION"."PO_HEADERS_ALL" "PO_HEADERS_ALL",
     "FUSION"."PO_LINES_ALL" "PO_LINES_ALL",
     "FUSION"."AP_INVOICE_LINES_ALL" "AP_INVOICE_LINES_ALL",
     "FUSION"."AP_INVOICES_ALL" "AP_INVOICES_ALL"

The subject area seems to have most of the information that I need, but I can't see a field for the requisition approver name (we are able to bring this back through our BIP data model).  Has anyone else found it, or is this something that hasn't been made visible in the subject area?  It's a critical bit of information for us, as the requisition approver will be the person being held to account for requisitions created after the invoice date.

Thanks for any help you can offer

    Jenny

Hyperlinking PO Number, AP Invoice Number on BI Publisher reports
    Content:

We have a BI Publisher report where we are showing Project profitability and showing all transactions on the project - such as all PO lines, all AP lines, all lines imported into projects that are non PO or AP related such as time and expenses.

End users will like to see hyperlink to PO numbers where they can open the PO, see attachments and all change history.

    How can we accomplish this?
