    Hi All,

I have heard new DB adapter is being rolled out that won't need an agent to be installed on Cloud DB, Does that mean that DB agent timeout of 240 seconds won't be valid going further?

Have any have tried this new DB adapter?

    Thanks

    Content:

    Hi All,

We are in the process of Upgrading the Classic Database to ATP Cloud Service. In this DB, we have an OIC Integrations Tracking tables.

Now we have connected to ATP through ATP adopter. change in the adopter requires all integration to be rebuilt.

Is there any alternative solution to migrate the integration without changing the mapping for the Oracle DBaaS adopter to ATP adopter?

    Thanks in Advance.

I have noticed that NOT ALL instances that faulted can be recovered or resubmitted for reprocessing - based from y experience, I have resubmitted/recovered some (scheduled integration) and unable for others (app-driven integration)

I'd like to know as to which specific conditions would an instance considered as recoverable when fault encountered.

    Title:
Select statement with DB2 connector doesn't return anything to map
    Summary:
Using the DB2 connector to connect to DB2 over port 446, select statement validates and generates and xsd but there is not outbound mapping.
    Content:
I administer a test and production customer managed OIC environment 18.2.5. We have an on premise connectivity agent that we use for a majority of our integrations. We have an AS400 that uses DB2 as our main ERP. I can connect to it successfully over port 446 (that's the standard port for DB2 on the as400 not 5000, shouldn't matter though). When I created an integration invoking the DB2 adapter using a simple select statement the it validates the query and generates the XSD, but the outbound mapping does not show anything to map to. Has anyone experienced this issue? In our Java applications we connect directly to the database using a jt400 jdbc driver. We had an issue with connecting to MySQL until I found a special driver and added it to the agenthome/third-party/lib folder. I tried to add the jt400 driver to that folder and restart, no fix. This is turning into a huge issue. On the old forum someone told me the DB2 adapter does not allow select statements, but I haven't been able to find that stated in the documentation.i haven't placed a SR yet because we have several open and I'm the only technical person to manage them currently. If I could find my own solution I'd prefer so that I don't clutter Oracle with tickets then become unresponsive.

MySQL adapter cannot connect (needs JDBC jar?) Using...Answered25.0

MySQL adapter cannot connect (needs JDBC jar?) Using On-Prem agent
    Summary:
MySQL adapter cannot connect (needs JDBC jar?) Using On-Prem agent
    Content:

I have an OIC instance with an On-Prem adapter installed within my firewall.  The On-Prem adapter works when I use the various REST and SOAP connections.  However when I set up a connection using the MySQL adapter it fails to connect, saying that I should check the com.jdbc.myswl.driver.  Following that advice I SHH'd into the box and found where location of the driver's for the weblogic server. I see the MySQL connector/j driver is already present (additionally, it already says pre installed on the GUI (underneath the adapter)). I verified that I can access the MySQL box from the box the on prem agent is installed on. The log files do not say anything interesting beyond "cannot connect" and to check if the jar driver is installed.  Does anyone have any thoughts?
