    Hi All,

I have heard new DB adapter is being rolled out that won't need an agent to be installed on Cloud DB, Does that mean that DB agent timeout of 240 seconds won't be valid going further?

Have any have tried this new DB adapter?

    Thanks

How to download uploaded file in button action?
    Content:

    Hi All,

We have file upload functionality in our VBCS page.
Uploaded file will be of in any format i.e (PDF, txt, Document, excel, image etc.) we show that file in table as shown in below image.
We get the upoladed file as a link(URL) in a column and we display the link as a button for the good UI. When we click that button, that uploaded file gets downloaded.
i.e when we click a button that uploaded file has to be downloaded.

Is it possible to downolad the file in the same uploaded format?

    Thanks

    Hi All,

I had an unhandled error in one of my integration. Please see the highlighted in my attachment.

I want to capture the exact error message coming in the response of Fault and store it in a custom table. Is it possible to extract the message detail from response under error handling? Please advise.

    Thanks,

Oracle DBaaS Adopter to ATP Adopter Migration
    Content:

    Hi All,

We are in the process of Upgrading the Classic Database to ATP Cloud Service. In this DB, we have an OIC Integrations Tracking tables.

Now we have connected to ATP through ATP adopter. change in the adopter requires all integration to be rebuilt.

Is there any alternative solution to migrate the integration without changing the mapping for the Oracle DBaaS adopter to ATP adopter?

    Thanks in Advance.

    Arun

    Hi,

    RestAPI structure :

    {

    'accountNum' : '123456'

    'product' : ['abc','def','ghi']

    }

I can receive multiple product name in rest api, i need to concatenate the array like this ('abc','def';'ghi') and which i was able to do using XSL concat & create-delimited-string function. i can see the same when i log the same function in logger. But when i pass that variable the ATP adapter to run a query like this.

Select accountid, accountName, productid, price from producttable where productname in #productname

it should work similar to below query which i run in ATP db directly

Select accountid, accountName, productid, price from producttable where productname in ('abc','def';'ghi')

But it is not retrieving any record. same query work fine in ATP database but it doesn't work from OIC. Do OIC doesn't support 'in' operator in select statement?

    Hi All,

While trying to load data from a rest API to a Business Object, it suddenly crashes - probably because I was trying to load 20K rows.

Does anyone know a better way to load data from external REST API to my VBCS BO?

    Thanks,

    Ziv

    Integration Apporach
    Content:

    Hi,

Our customer have DB Cloud, OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), JCS (Java Cloud Service) and Fusion Cloud (SaaS). We have tried to integrate the third party system from our CRM fusion application. We have built some pages using DCS - VBCS (Digital Customer Service - Visual Builder Cloud Service), based on some event in the screen the data from DB cloud needs to push to third party system. (Data resides in multiple tables. We have to build some complex joins)

    We have identified two approach.

    1. Create custom java program in JCS, it will fetch the data from DBCS and form the request which is requested by third party system and call the third party API. This custom program deployed as Rest API. We will invoke this API from our VBCS screen.

    2. Create API using ORDS (DBCS). Create connections of ORDS API & third party API. Create one integration to integrate ORDS API & third part API in OIC. We will invoke OIC API from our VBCS screen.

Let me know which one is best approach.

    Thanks,

    Mohan
