Issue Activating ICS Integration - DB Adpater Issue75.0

    Title:
Issue Activating ICS Integration - DB Adpater Issue
    Summary:
Facing Issue while Activating ICS Integration with DB adapter configured.
    Content:

We are now facing issue in activating and ICS integration with DB adapter. I'll list the steps and the output for better understanding:

    1. Installed a connectivity agent in ICS db server as we will connect to user defined tables in ICS. Below is the output that the agent is running fine:

    [oracle@DevICSDb-Multichoice oic_connectivity_agent]$ pwd
    /home/oracle/devDBCS_agent/oic_connectivity_agent
    [oracle@DevICSDb-Multichoice oic_connectivity_agent]$ ls
    agenthome  connectivityagent.jar  InstallerProfile.cfg  oic_connectivity_agent.zip  pid
    [oracle@DevICSDb-Multichoice oic_connectivity_agent]$ java -jar connectivityagent.jar &
    [1] 26966
[oracle@DevICSDb-Multichoice oic_connectivity_agent]$ Existing Agent installation found... Starting Agent for message processing.
Checking for already running instances of this agent. This might take up to 15 seconds ...
    Initializing the credential store ...
Agent started successfully...Now available for new messages...

Step 2: Created a db connection with required details and test was successful.

Step 3. Created an integration with a SOAP and DB adapter. While conencting the db adpater, the SQL query provided was succesful too.

Step 4. Create the required mapping and tried to activate the integration and got the following error:

[SEVERE] [ThreadID: 1780] [Logger: oracle.cloud.cpi.agent.ActivationCpiCommand] [SRC Class: oracle.cloud.cpi.agent.ActivationCpiCommand; Method: doRequest] Error in performing activation. java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 1

Not sure what's going wrong. Please suggest. We'll try to delete and recreate the agent as the last approach.

    Retrieve SOA-MDS password15.0

    Retrieve SOA-MDS password
    Summary:
How to retrieve the SOA-MDS password and configure the db based MDS connection from jdeveloper
    Content:

We created a SOA instance and corresponding database instance too. All components were successfully created (db, managed server, WLS etc.). However now during our development we want to configure the db based SOA-MDS in our jdeveloper. We are able to connect to the database using the SSH and "SYSTEM" username. However this connection fails to retrieve the partition details. When checked in weblogic console, the soa-mds connection user seems to be "SP1533128107_MDS". This user I guess was internally created. How do I get the password for this? Is there any option to change the password from the weblogic console? Please assist.

Creating business obect from table creation sql scriptsAnswered45.0

Creating business obect from table creation sql scripts
    Content:

    HI All,

We are using vbcs as part of Autonomous OIC. One thing we have learnt is that the underlying database is not accessible using sqldeveloper. Now in order to create business objects we have to either create manually or use some xsd's. We do not have those xsd's readily available. We do have the table creation sql scripts that we would like to use to create business objects. Do anyone of you know if there is a way to do that? Or may be any work around?

    Thanks,

    Bhavesh

Checkbox with multiple values needs to be added to the business object
    Content:

I have a checkbox which can have multiple values selected. I need the values selected to go into a field in the business Object,

What should be the type of the field (there no type of array) in the business object so that it can hold multiple values. I am fine if it is stored as comma separated value. But I am not able to save it in as it complains with unable to parse payload.

ps: I am just starting with visual builder

    Downtime Handling in OIC35.0

    Downtime Handling in OIC
    Summary:
We encountered intermittent connection (2-3 minutes of random downtime) in OIC
    Content:

    Hi,

We encountered intermittent connection (2-3 minutes of random downtime like service not accessible) with OIC, which happens a couple of times in a week. It may not sound a big deal, but this is concerning on a production system, that some integrations are unavailable on that instance (especially there are activities triggered).

Aside from having error handling (integration level), can you suggest how to handle OIC downtime? I can see there's a 'Load Balancer' for every OIC service, any idea how to leverage on this context?

    Appreciate your inputs on this.

    Thanks,

    Moon

Custom SQL queries against Cloud ERP via OAICS25.0

    Title:
Custom SQL queries against Cloud ERP via OAICS
    Summary:
Custom SQL queries against Cloud ERP via OAICS
    Content:

    Hi All,

I am building an integration in OAICS, based on (I expect a common scenario) where we are creating Requisitions in Cloud ERP, from a flat file delivered to an FTP Server. I'm using the bulk import process, FBDI.

    I need to enrich the Requisition data I receive, before creating the requisition. Specifically, we are given a Blanket Purchase Order number, and I need to obtain from this certain supplier details. I have a SQL query as follows;

    SELECT POH.SEGMENT1
    ,      POS.VENDOR_NAME
    ,      POSS.ADDRESS_LINE1
    FROM   PO_HEADERS_ALL POH
    ,      POZ_SUPPLIERS_V POS
    ,      POZ_SUPPLIER_SITES_V POSS
    WHERE  POH.VENDOR_ID = POS.VENDOR_ID
    AND    POS.VENDOR_ID = POSS.VENDOR_ID
    AND    POH.SEGMENT1 = 'PA3004'

I am hoping there is a way, we can register in our Integration and then execute custom SQL against the ERP Cloud database and pass in the value for POH.SEGMENT1.

I have seen that the Oracle RightNow Adapter provides for the ability to use ROQL to run custom queries, but this is not available in the Oracle ERP Adapter.

Any help / advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thank You
