    Creating HCM Extensions with JCS1
Topic posted November 15, 2018 by sriram iyerRed Ribbon: 250+ Points, tagged ADF, AppToCloud, Cloud, Database, JDeveloper, PaaS, REST, Security, Web Services, WebLogic in Application Development > Java public
    Title:
    Creating HCM Extensions with JCS
    Summary:
Can we use JCS instead of JCS-SX to create extensions for Oracle HCM Cloud?
    Content:

We are in the process of evaluating options for creating extensions to the HCM Cloud application. However, we want to use JCS instead of JCS-SX to build and deploy these extensions?

We will have an IDCS and DBCS (Autonomous) that we will be purchasing to go with this.

I have seen documentation that said that this is possible but wanted to know from the experts here if this a road we should take. This is one of the pictures that I have seen on an Oracle site that explains how to do this.

    Problem with Stored Procedure InvokeAnswered2

    Title:
    Problem with Stored Procedure Invoke
    Summary:
Unable to invoke Stored Procedure when has Associative Array as input
    Content:

    Hi,

I am trying to invoke a stored procedure from OIC through DB adapter, the invoke is trying to create a wrapper procedure and eventually fails to complete the design.

When Stored procedure has Associative Arrays, OIC tries to create a wrapper procedure, with out Type as input this works well.

Can some one please help me to fix this if this is supported in OIC.

    Thanks,

    Uday

    REST endpoint viewer not working1
Topic posted November 7, 2018 by sriram iyerRed Ribbon: 250+ Points, tagged Business Objects, Database, REST, Services in Application Development > Visual Builder public
    Title:
    REST endpoint viewer not working
    Summary:
The REST Endpoint viewer for business objects in not working as documented
    Content:

I am going through his document.

    https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/app-builder-cloud/tutorial-create-application-dev/index.html

It tells me that when viewing the Endpoints for a Business object, I should be able to test these requests and view the responses for them.

Actual line and corresponding image from the above document.

"If you click an endpoint, an endpoint viewer allows you to test requests and view responses with specified parameter values.".

    Endpoint viewer for business object

However, when I review the endpoints for my business objects and click on one of them, this does not work. Is this feature still available? Would be great if we can test our queries before we implement them.

    Thanks

    Sriram Iyer
