- New Common Features
- Common logging configuration for Oracle Autonomous Integration Cloud

- New security, authentication, & authorization for Oracle Autonomous Integration Cloud REST APIs using OAuth
- Support for Oracle Integration Cloud Service to Oracle Autonomous Integration Cloud export and import

- Enqueueing of messages in the outbound (invoke) direction is now supported
- Support for consuming external REST APIs that are protected using transport level security (one-way and two-way SSL)
- Performing a SELECT operation against database tables is supported

CASB Cloud
- Filter settings on key Oracle CASB CS pages are now automatically retained, both within a session and between sessions
- Enhanced support for Oracle Cloud Interface (OCI) security controls and policy alerts
- You can now create policy alerts for many Oracle ERP Cloud business objects

Content and Experience Cloud
- Repository admins can now create multiple repositories, each having their own policies for publishing and translation
- Repository administrators can migrate their existing asset repositories to the new repository model
- Two new user roles – Repository Administrator and Developer – have been added, roles documentation is improved
- Navigation options have been simplified, you see page based on your role and your service type (standard or enterprise)
- These features are now incorporated into other menu structures for People, Groups, Collections, and Content Items
- Content administrators can set translation policies which can be used to add multiple languages for content items
- There is now an Oracle JET (JavaScript Extension Toolkit) template that can be used to create a site
- Several enhancements have been made for users who are creating sites
- Enhancements have been made for creating sites for a mobile setting
- Developers can now specify rules to redirect user requests from old URLs to their current ones
- New webhook to post content publishing notification events from Oracle CEC to an external system

- The documentation has been modified to better serve the needs of specific audiences
- The REST API for Content Management has been renamed to the REST API for Documents

- All Database Schema Service environments have been upgraded to Oracle Application Express (APEX) version 18.1
Data Integration Platform Cloud
- You can now perform these tasks using autonomous Data Integration Platform Cloud: Synchronize Data, ODI Execution, and Replicate Data
- Based on the operating system selected, you can download agent to connect to multiple source/target systems
- Use the DIPC console to capture new transactions in your Oracle data sources & deliver to Oracle and Kafka targets
- You can add data from a variety of sources into Data Integration Platform Cloud's Data Lake
- The ODI plug-in for agents enables you to perform data integration tasks remotely in an on-premises environment
Developer Cloud
- You can now create and manage software development environments for your project
- You can now define an existing project to be used as a project template for new projects
- You can now watch wiki pages and receive email notification when they are updated
- Java SE 10, Packer, Python 2.7 and 3.6 are now available in the build executors
- A redesigned user interface makes configuring an SCM polling trigger using a Cron expression schedule much easier
- Now default avatar image shows your name initials if you haven’t created a Gravatar account or uploaded a picture
Event Hub Cloud
- Now you can use the Manage Tags menu option to assign or unassign tags, even for instances that already have tags
Infrastructure Monitoring (part of Oracle Management Cloud)
- This release introduces monitoring support for Oracle 18c Database (18.1) and Oracle Database Exadata Cloud Machine
Integration Cloud
- FTP Adapter - GZIP support allows your customers/partners to upload files to sFTP/FTP servers as GZIP files
IT Analytics (part of Oracle Management Cloud)
- You can now use the
grantPrivilegesITA.shscript to automate the creation of the monitoring database user and to grant the required monitoring privileges to that user
Java Cloud
- Now Bring Your Own License capability is enabled by default

- You can now use the SQL fields in the log data to do clustering and effectively reduce the large volume of data into a finite number of clusters to help in analysis

- New Purge Only option in runtime administration can be used to skip archiving analytics data before purging it
Security Monitoring and Analytics (part of Oracle Management Cloud)

SOA Cloud
- Now you can create Oracle SOA Cloud quick start instances using stack templates

Announcement:Big Data Cloud
- Now includes Sparkline SNAP, a terabyte-scale OLAP option on Spark
- Invalid REST request URLs now return 404 error
Big Data Cloud Service
- The system software has been updated to release 4.13.1. This includes Cloudera Distribution with Hadoop (CDH) 5.14.1
- The Notebook tools are now built on Apache Zeppelin 0.8.0, upgraded from Apache Zeppelin 0.7.2
- The
sparkinterpreter has replaced thespark2interpreter. Now the interpreters can be scoped per user and/or per note - Time-out based interpreter life-cycle management is available now
- You can now upload directories from your local computer to HDFS
- 2 new job types are available: ODHI Query (for generic queries against Hive) and ODHI Import (for loading data into Hive)
- Data Explorer page allows you to right-click an HDFS file and see partial content of the file with syntax highlighting
- When creating a new job, you can now select to execute it immediately or to specify its schedule
Blockchain Cloud
- You can now use longer channel names with a limit of 128 characters in the channel name
- When a peer is removed from the network, it is automatically removed from any REST proxy configuration that includes it
- When you deploy a chaincode, you can now select to enable it in multiple REST proxies
- You can now go to the console's About menu to find your instance's creation date and time
CASB Cloud
- You can now create policy alerts for identity compartment and identity federation objects
- Now the threshold risk level can be set for OCI and IDCS security controls
- You can now register Azure without Azure AD monitoring, which requires only an E3 license. See Adding an Azure Instance
- You can now register a SuccessFactors instance to be monitored by Oracle CASB Cloud Service
- Policy alerts are now generated automatically, based on tags assigned to discovered applications

Content and Experience Cloud
- Web client and mobile apps now have a Home option in the navigation menu

- Now the toolbar in the rich-text editor in content types can be customized
- You can now use VBCS and DevCS to develop forms for CEC sites, and use the forms on CEC sites

- Integration user can now be given access to all sites and templates
Database Cloud
- Notices of future deprecations and removals have been updated. More details here
- Cloud tooling update is available for deployments hosting Oracle RAC databases
- October 2018 PSU, BP and RU patches are available to be applied to existing deployments
Event Hub Cloud
- Now Apache Kafka Release 2.0.0 support is provided in addition to Kafka Release 1.1.0 support
Identity Cloud
- In addition to third-party risk providers, you can now activate and deactivate the default risk provider
- You can now use the slider to set the weighting for events to determine risk-based activity for IDCS users
- Enhancements have been made to SAML Application Configuration. See Adding a SAML Application
- You can now allow clients to access OPC resources using hierarchical scope matching
- IDCS now checks whether verification is done to the email address appearing in the From Email field for all notifications
- Now you can migrate from traditional Cloud accounts to Cloud accounts with IDCS. More details here
- You can now configure customized disclaimers and acceptable use policies for users on an application basis
- Now multiple instances of the same social identity provider can be added

- You can now associate ATP or OCI database as the infrastructure schema database when you provision your JCS instance
- Oracle Documaker Enterprise Edition is now certified on Oracle Java Cloud Service
- The QuickStart is unsupported for accounts with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure regions
- New patch set updates (PSUs) are available for Oracle WebLogic Server and Java Development Kit (JDK)
Log Analytics (part of Oracle Management Cloud)
- Oracle Log Analytics now supports epoch seconds and milliseconds for the timestamp fields
- You can use the On Demand Upload (ODU) client to upload your log files to Log Analytics through a command-line interface
- Link feature gives you the ability to analyze user sessions, extract various parameters to help you get business insights
Security Monitoring and Analytics (part of Oracle Management Cloud)
- Now you can perform security analysis around two subsets of categories known as suspicious and malicious
- Support for collecting security logs from monitoring sources in your IT environment has been added. More details here
Self-Service Integration Cloud
- Now you can create recipe actions against Oracle Configure Price Quote Cloud Service
SOA Cloud
- Bare Metal database support has been added for Oracle SOA Cloud Service instances on OCI in the Provisioning Wizard
Visual Builder Cloud
- Visual Builder now supports nested flows with additional features
- iPad has been added as a deployment target option when building mobile apps

Announcement:Analytics Cloud
- A new way to deploy Oracle Analytics Cloud Subscription on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is available. See Create a Service
API Platform Cloud
- You can now enclose a search term in quotes to find an exact match on list pages. See Understand the APIs List Page
- A button has been added to display a list of applications for selection. See Apply Application-Based Routing Policies
- A button has also been added to display a list of gateways for selection. See Apply Gateway-Based Routing Policies
- The pages in the interface that list the APIs, plans, applications, services, and service accounts have been redesigned
- Now actions, methods as well as resources from an Apiary specification can be used for resource-based routing policy
- If the installed version of your gateway is 18.4.3 or later, there is no need to re-install the gateway for 19.1.3
Application Performance Monitoring (part of Oracle Management Cloud)

Blockchain Platform

- Now you can add ACL policies to a channel and then apply them to the channel's resources
- State-based endorsement policies are used now. They allow the SDK to automatically detect information in the network
- You can now define key-level endorsement policies
- For compatibility requirements, you can now create channels with Oracle Blockchain Platform 19.1.1 capabilities
- REST APIs were added that allow access to instance metrics like transaction counts and CPU, memory, and disk utilization

CASB Cloud
- Integration with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure has been enhanced
- Single sign-on through Oracle Identity Cloud Service is now supported in all registered Oracle Fusion Applications
- Now you can trigger policy alerts based on additional actions on SharePoint and OneDrive files in Office 365 files

- Risk Events now shows ASN (autonomous system number) information for IP addresses
- For CASB Cloud Service – Discovery, warning is provided when expected user count is exceeded

Configuration and Compliance (part of Oracle Management Cloud)

- New site governance feature makes it easy to create sites that conform to company policy, control and track sites easily
- Now you can download site files for easy translation outside of CEC and then import the translated files
- You can upload custom renditions of your images to suit the channel they’re published to such as mobile, tablet, web, etc.

- Now you can create and configure a custom connector to a third-party content repository
- Content contributors can now view content metrics on the Analytics dashboard where they have a Contributor role

Database Cloud
- The recovery operation for dbaasapi, dbaascli, and bkup_api has changed to return only data & not the configuration files

- Now using the dbaasapi from the command line, you can get a report on the tooling and image versions
- Oracle Documaker Enterprise Edition version 12.6.2 has been certified for use with Database Cloud Service deployments
Digital Assistant

Integration Cloud
New Integration Features

New Process Features
- You can now capture form data at multiple points in a process, store it in a DB or file system for archiving or auditing
- Now you can introduce additional test statements (Else If statements) in If-Then-Else decisions
- Array filtering feature in structured processes is now available. See Filter Array Data Objects
- You can now create a Loop decision to iterate over lists or arrays. See Create Loops
- Guidelines have been added to make decision models easy to develop, maintain, and interpret. See Best Practices
- You can set the number of days to retain completed analytics before automatic purging (retention of 7 days by default)
- Here's a reminder to set the number of days to retain completed process instances before they get purged. See Purge
IT Analytics (part of Oracle Management Cloud)
- Now you can access the Exadata Overview page from the new Exadata menu in the OMC Navigation pane
- You can now specify the high and low threshold values in the IT Analytics Settings page. See Configure Capacity Thresholds
Java Cloud
- Now you can provision an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Load Balancer for your service instance on OCI
- You can now connect a service instance to an Autonomous Transaction Processing or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure database
- Now using the REST API or CLI, you can download a backup, decrypt it, and extract its contents
- Scheduled backups are now disabled automatically after seven errors of any type
- Notification email is now optional for automatic backup disabling
- For Software Edition, the option Enterprise Edition with Coherence has been renamed to High Performance Edition in the Oracle Java Cloud Service instance creation wizard
Log Analytics (part of Oracle Management Cloud)
- As an administrator, now you can have finer control on the access provided to each user of Oracle Log Analytics
- Now you can select the data to purge by specifying a time ranges. See Purge Log Data
- You can now export the log parsers and user-defined log sources to an XML file using the Oracle Log Analytics
- Now you can mask the log data using the hash mask to generate a unique hash for each found value of the masked data
Management Cloud
- Enhancements have been made in the Card visualization and Table visualization option in Data Explorer
- Now last selected entity context is displayed in dashboards if an entity is not selected in the Global Context Entity Selector

Announcement:Analytics Cloud
Service Management
- Deployments on OCI are renamed to “Oracle Analytics Cloud”, previously known as Oracle Autonomous Analytics Cloud
- Now deployments on OCI Classic are named “Oracle Analytics Cloud – Classic”, previously known as Oracle Analytics Cloud
- You can now create trial instances faster by setting up Oracle Analytics Cloud on OCI Classic with a single click. See link
- While setting up Analytics Cloud, now you’ll be asked which identity domain you want to use, if more than one is available
- Now you can migrate content easily between Oracle Analytics Cloud environments using snapshots
- Additional menu options in Console make migration from Oracle BI Enterprise Edition 11g easier now
- Enhancements were made to Snapshot. See Options When You Take a Snapshot and Options When You Restore a Snapshot
- Data file migration utility now moves data files from one Oracle Analytics Cloud environment to another
- Now you can set configuration options required for advanced use cases through Console. See Configure Advanced Options
Data Visualization
- Now you can easily create a connection to Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse. See link
- You can now create connections to Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing. See link
Essbase
- By selecting tuples, you can now focus your calculations in the active Smart View grid, limiting scope to specific data slices
- Now you can specify the ancestor position for hierarchies in ad hoc grids in Smart View
- New gallery templates are available in Files catalog. See Explore the Gallery Templates
- You can create aggregation views to be generated automatically. See Create & Manage Cube Outlines with Web Interface
- You can now select multiple cells or multiple ranges of cells, and see the merged results in drill through
- In the Essbase web interface, you can now create a connection and datasource to Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse
Pixel-Perfect Reporting
- You can view an Essbase cube and filter data for reports with POV parameter in an MDX query
- Now Snapshot includes pixel-perfect reporting. See Take Snapshots and Restore
API Platform Cloud
- New policy allows you to enable end-user identity to be passed over multiple hops before reaching destination web service
- New policy allows enforcing verification of credentials sent within SOAP payload & allows authorized users to access APIs
Autonomous Data Warehouse
- Autonomous Data Warehouse now allows you to directly query and load data stored as parquet files in object stores
Blockchain Platform
- Oracle Blockchain Cloud Service has been renamed to Oracle Blockchain Platform
CASB Cloud
Oracle CASB Cloud Service
- Integration with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) has been enhanced
- SAP SuccessFactors has new enhancements now
- Microsoft Office 365 policy alerts can now trigger on sharing level
- Enabling business object auditing is now largely automated for Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle HCM Cloud
Oracle CASB Cloud Service — Discovery
- Navigation menu Discovery option now accesses Oracle CASB Cloud Service - Discovery
- 11 new key security indicators have been added to the original two ("Users with most apps" and "Top 10 most used apps")
- Discovery key security indicators are now displayed on a separate Key Security Indicators tab on the new Discovery page
- Now all key security indicators drill down to details in the discovered applications data
Configuration and Compliance (part of Oracle Management Cloud)
- SCAP results can be uploaded from OpenSCAP and other SCAP engines directly to Configuration and Compliance
- Now a complete, self-contained HTML report can be generated for any historic assessment
Data Integration Platform Cloud
- Architectural changes to Remote Agents require recreating agent to perform new Synchronize Data jobs using Initial Load
- Microsoft SQL Server is now available for Windows Remote Agents
- Data Integration Platform Cloud now supports additional data sources. See What's Certified for Agents?
- Support has been added for remote execution of a Synchronize Data Task that includes Initial Load from behind a firewall
- Now data can be delivered to Autonomous Data Warehouse targets
- You can now create a Data Lake using the Data Lake Configuration Element
- The ODI Execution task now supports Autonomous Data Warehouse Cloud and Oracle Object Storage Connection types
- Now supports Oracle Object Storage Classic as a source or target Connection type
- You can now create Policies to schedule job executions
- Catalog now lists Data Assets and Execution Environments after you create them
Database Cloud Schema
- Using TLS 1.2 protocol certain Outbound HTTPS network connections can be established from Schema Service
Developer Cloud
- Support for OCI Compute and OCI Object Storage was added
- Design for the left navigation bar has been updated
- New shared Organization Page and Project Home page are available now. See Manage the Organization
- Now Project Home page provides an improved view of the project's actions, repositories, team members, and statistics
- Banner with latest news from the DevCS team is now displayed in the page header of Organization and Project Home pages
- Unpublished changes in Wiki pages are automatically saved as drafts now
- Breadcrumbs have been enhanced to provide navigation to many child pages so you don't have to use the Navigation bar
- You can use a named password in a project's build job configurations now
- A newer version of Firefox is now available in the Software Catalog of Build VM templates
- Approval-based merge request restrictions are available now. See Set Push and Merge Restrictions on a Branch
Integration
New Common Features
- The name “Oracle Integration Cloud” has been shortened to “Oracle Integration”
- Our user-managed version is now called “Oracle Integration Classic”. These name changes have no impact on functionality

- You can now upload images encoded in base64 format to forms. See Upload and Preview a Base64 Image
Internet of Things Cloud
- New and updated documents are available in the Oracle Help Center
IT Analytics (part of Oracle Management Cloud)
- Now the overview page provides an integrated view of monitoring, logs, & analytics on Exadata systems across enterprise
Log Analytics (part of Oracle Management Cloud)
- You can now upload your log files using On Demand Upload (ODU) wizard on the service console of Oracle Log Analytics
Management Cloud
- New Edit mode is available for dashboards & dashboard sets. See Create Custom Dashboards & Create Dashboard Sets
- A hard limit has been introduced on the number of widgets in a dashboard and the number of tabs in a dashboard set
- Enhancement has been made to the Widget Title Linking feature in dashboards to add custom link to a Widget title
- New Save As option is added to customize an out-of-the-box widget or a widget created by another user from a dashboard
SOA Cloud
- You can now update the storage container for backups from the instance administration page
- Users are recommended to use newer versions of Oracle SOA Suite as Oracle SOA Suite 12.2.1.2.0 is being phased out soon

Announcement:API Platform Cloud
- Now you can set rate limits for specific actions in the API. See Setting a Rate Limit for an Entitlement
- Support for Apiary Actions in the Interface Filtering and Method Mapping Policies has been added
- You can now filter analytics results by plans, services, and methods. See Filtering Analytics
- New element called “ScopeClaimDataType” now allows specifying the scope values in JWT
- You can now add custom pages to the Developer Portal. See Managing Custom Pages
Big Data Cloud
- Now Apache Spark 1.6 is deprecated and will be removed in a future release, workloads should be migrated to Spark 2.x
- The identity domain ID and the cluster ID specified in REST requests are now scanned for errors and issues
Blockchain Cloud
- You can now import and use certificates issued by client-only (external) CAs into an existing blockchain network
- Now Chaincodes can get the identity of the REST proxy caller to safely use the authenticated identity
- Use new QuickStart templates to quickly create instances in Developer, Enterprise-X1 & Enterprise-X4 configurations
- You can now delete an organization from a channel using Edit Configuration option console’s Channels tab
- Now you can use Oracle Identity Cloud Service federation with remote identity providers
- You can asynchronously shadow blockchain transaction history for any channel ledger to an Oracle database
- The Balance Transfer and Car Dealer sample chaincodes are now available in Node.js
- Functionality has been added to display the chaincode’s endorsement policy and ensure chosen peers satisfy the policy
CASB Cloud
- When using Data Protection with Box, you can now specify multiple root folders to be scanned
- Now use tags with discovered applications. See Viewing Discovered Applications and Understanding the Results
- SOC Operator role has expanded capabilities now. See About Administrator Roles
- Viewing new User Activity Report for OCI is now automated. See Viewing Key Security Indicators and Reports for OCI
Content and Experience Cloud
- The sites, templates, and assets user interface have been updated with new views
- Now you can export assets for easy translation outside of Oracle CEC, and then import the translated files
- You can now import content into your asset repository from third-party tools like Dropbox, Google, and OneDrive
- New and improved analytics is available for administrative users
- You can now download Sites Toolkit and set it up on your local machine to develop with Oracle DeveloperCS
- The template VBCSSamplesTemplate.zip has been added to Sites Toolkit to integrate Oracle VBCS apps with CEC
Database Cloud
- The July 2018 PSU, BP or RU, depending on DB version, are now integrated into base image for single-instance DB
- Database Cloud patching time is now faster by approximately 50%
- New versions for SQL Developer Web, ORDS, APEX and ORE have been integrated into base image for single-instance DB
Database Exadata Express Cloud
- All existing Exadata Express customers have been upgraded to APEX version 18.2. See New Features
Database Schema Service
- All Database Schema Service environments have been upgraded to Oracle Application Express (APEX) version 18.2
Developer Cloud
- You can now configure a job to trigger a Wercker pipeline when the job’s build runs
- Now you can configure a job to run Fn commands on a Fn server when the job’s build runs
- From the Environments page, you can now start, stop, and restart services instances of an environment
- In the shell commands of a job, you can now use the internal URL of an external Git repository added to a project
- OCIcli 2.4.32, Packer 1.2.4 and Fn 0.5 are now available in the build executors
- A project owner can now configure the project’s Maven repository to overwrite artifacts
- A Git repository’s URLs and download links are now available in the Clone drop-down menu
- When you add a block comment to a wiki, an auto-watch is set and you get email notifications for changes made
Digital Assistant
- Now you can create your own digital assistant, a “master bot” that fields requests from multiple skills (chatbots).
- You can now track conversation trends over time, identify execution paths, determine the accuracy of your intent resolutions, and much more.
- Your ODA can initiate a conversation with your user whenever it receives a triggering event from another app.
- New features for instant apps, including localization, bring-your-own CSS support, new styling and an updated look and feel.
- New System.OAuth2AccountLink component, which completes all the steps for the three-legged OAuth2 flow and returns the OAuth2 access token
- Now you can define parameters that start with “da” and use them by all the skills that are registered in the same digital assistant.
- Properties of the System.Intent component, like confidenceLevel and winMargin, are now configured as settings through the UI, instead of from the dialog flow.
- Entities have a whole set of new features, including pagination, fuzzy matching, and multiple value selection.
- Composite bag entities can now include non-entity members.
- ODA now lets you define your intents and custom entities in both English and Simplified Chinese, without having to first configure an auto-translation service.
Event Hub Cloud
- You can now create, delete and edit Oracle Event Hub Topics from Event Hub Console
GoldenGate Cloud
- You can now create Oracle GoldenGate Cloud instances with Oracle GoldenGate 18.1 classic and microservices versions
Integration Cloud
New Processes Features
- You now have the option of customizing presentations in addition to cloning them. See Work with Presentations
- Now you can initiate a POST operation while executing REST connector calls in form events and set request-body
- New “Matches” function is available to check if two strings or expressions match, and returns a Boolean value
- Now when configuring global connectors, you can select the new Ignore connector error option
- You can now print forms that contain train component controls (Note that only the selected step is printed)
- Now you can use the new Append action in the data association editor to add elements to a target array
- Mapping data within structured processes, allows specifying fallback (default) value in addition to data source argument
- You can now create decision tables with more than one output variable
- Now update external business objects already being used in a process application by uploading a new XSD or JSON file
- REST API options for retrieving dynamic process resources are added
Internet of Things Cloud
- New and updated documentation is available in the Oracle Help Center
Java Cloud
- Using the REST API, you can now create a service instance that is attached to a private subnet in OCI
- Now service nodes created in OCI regions (release 18.4.2 or later), get nodes distributed evenly across fault domains
- You can now update protected context roots after creating a JCS instance with IDCS enabled for authentication
- Now you can use REST API to change the domain name in WebLogic Server console URL after service instance provision
- For service instance creation in OCI region, you can choose OCI Load Balancing service as the managed load balancer
- Now you can provision multiple WebLogic clusters when you provision an Oracle-managed load balancer for JCS on OCI
- You can now upgrade the WebLogic Server release on which JCS was created to release 12.2.1.3
Log Analytics (part of Oracle Management Cloud)
- Now search for an extended field based on the how it was created, the type of base field, or with example content
- You can search for a label based on any of the parameters defined for the labels like Creation Type, Input Field, etc.
- Before adding a preprocessing function to a parser, now you can test the correctness of the field values and view results
Mobile Cloud
- Now you can quickly and easily migrate your mobile configurations to Oracle Mobile Cloud using scripts
- To keep the volume of analytics data under control, now accumulated API calls are automatically deleted every 24 hrs
