     I have a query, is it possible to modify the field content of an activity that is already started?

    That is to say if the order was initiated, and through an API (for example) I can update the notes of the order (which is initiated)

    It will be possible to move orders to a type of resource that routing does not consider.
    Content:

    Our client handles suspended orders that can go several days without attending.

    We need to be able to separate these orders from their original buckets and pass them to another one called "suspended" or something similar without routing taking these orders into account.

    They are currently handled in a bucket but, routing when considered, it obviously routes them again.

    The client needs to be able to locate in some type of resource the orders that are suspended and that are not routed by the system. They will manually locate them in the corresponding technician.

    This is possible ?? Is there any alternative?

    How can we integrate Monitoring Tool which are Compatible with OFSC

    Hi OFSC Guru's

        Can any of the Guru's of OFSC tell, if there is any compatible tool's available to monitor OFSC like number activities for the complete day ( with the status transition) through which we can build customized reports, for better understanding. We need for Routing, how many routing plans have been run throughout the day in the form of % . WorkOrder per regions, As per i know we do not get the access to the OFSC DB so we can query the DB and get the results. If we can monitor the network, if OFSC is running slow. 

    Please provide some solution regarding this, as we need to monitor many of the fields.

    Our activities will be created from Sales Cloud. We have resource tree structure as explained in the thread: https://cloudcustomerconnect.oracle.com/posts/cb56127664. Please can you guide about best approach about assignment of newly created activities in Field Service? The assignment will be based on a 3digit Region Code. That is we have regional buckets and whenever an activity will be created we will create it in some Global Bucket and after that we will run a routing profile to assign activities to Regional buckets. So when a regional manager will login he will see all the activities for his region which he will manually assign to his team. We are not having routing profiles for resources. Just regional buckets should get the activities.

    Hi,

    Is there any possibility of capacity reservation in OFSC. The requirement is to release capacity in continuous fashion based on the usage.

    For example, If capacity has to be reserved for 25/Feb starting 18/Feb then while during get_Capacity using Capacity Management API it should give only 60% of the allocated capacity in minutes. Later if the capacity consumption is increased by 22/Feb, user should be able to increase the release of capacity to 90% and so on...

    Requirement 2: Is there possibility of Overbooking in OFSC. While performing get_Capacity using Capacity Management API, whether OFSC can send more than allocated quota(e.g. allocated = 480 mins/per day for each capcity category & time slot) then will it be possible for OFSC for respond with more available capacity 1000 mins/day for each capacity category and time slots combination.?

    I configured the Application for the integration. In the Core API available entities, I noticed we have Collaboration Events entity. 

    Can you tell me what's this entity for? I tried to find it on the docs, but no luck.

    Hi,

    I need to automate changes in Min Quota acording the service volume. Our system is setup to work with timeslots, but, I couldn't find a way to set the minimum quota of each timeslot.

    Does anyone know how to do it?

    We have configured Quota in our instance and we are editing the "Quota%","Min Quota" and other parameters manually for every day/month. Is thery any way for setting these properties automatically by using any API's?

    Hello Experts  , 

         Our Customer is considering the possibility of enabling the Capacity Module for OFSC . In this regards we  have following Questions:

    1. After enabling the Quota Management, We can adjust quota for the current date and future dates. While enabling the quota for the future dates due we need to have the licensing of  Forecasting Module ,
    2. Are all the fields that are needed to be taken in to consideration for Quota management are needed  to be added as Workskills . We am specifically referring to capacity of truck ie. Weight and Volume . 
    3. What would be outcome during routing if the resource reaches its capacity for a particular time slot . Would it be non routed activity or allocated to some other resource which is not having a specified capacity .

    Hello

    I need to apply a new capacity category with a new work skill that limited resource will have, previously all resources were skilled to do all job types therefore we have only had one capacity category. How can I now configure the capacity bucket so that we can calculate the correct number of quota minutes for the resource in the bucket who are skilled for each capacity category and take into account unavailabilitys which we apply as an internal activity to the resource. Here are the two issues I am finding at the minute

    Quota by capacity category setting

    Setting 1) Quota is entered as % of maximum capacity available in this category

    Pros –   Calculates the correct quota minutes for the amount of capacity in the bucket that has that work skills. This is good as it means quota can be set without knowing what shifts the resources in the bucket work.

    Cons – Does not count other activities into capacity quota calculation which may lead to overbooking and means every time any person has an Internal activity applied it becomes very manual for the diary team who then need to adjust all capacity quotas.

    Setting 2) Quota is entered as % of quota defined on a parent level

    Pros -  Other activities are considered Quota % are calculated from max Available-Other activities

    Cons – Quota for that capacity category can be opened even if there is no resource open that is skilled on that day. I.e total quota minute 200 if you open capacity 'commercial' as 50% quota will open for 100 minutes even if no one is working that day who has that skill.

     

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
