    Title:
Navigate to supplier profile from OTBI reports, including sample report
    Summary:
Creating ad hoc OTBI reports with links to navigate to supplier profiles.
    Content:

The 19C feature: Navigate to Supplier Profile from Reports allows you to include links in your ad hoc OTBI and BIP reports. These links can be used to navigate to and view supplier profiles.

Below is an example of one such ad hoc OTBI report that lists suppliers missing Business Classifications. This report can be used to review the list of such suppliers and update their profiles to include the missing information.

More details about this feature can be found in the Procurement What’s New for Update 19C.  You can also refer to the white paper available here: My Oracle Support (note 2556026.1) for step by step instructions to construct and use these links.

How to write approval rules for “Outside Processing Purchase Order” through BPM?
    Content:

    Hi all,

When we are releasing the work order our requisitions are auto approving and POs are getting created automatically. As per the Oracle, we can't control the approvals of PR so we want to enable the approval flow for the purchase orders(OSP orders). If anyone has any idea on how to create a BPM rule for these kinds of POs please let me know.

    Title:
    Approved requisitions not generating PO's
    Content:

We are finding that some of our requisitions are still in process status because it requires a negotiation to turn into a PO. Oracle support supplied a sql query to create a BI report, however I can't seem to make it work. Has anyone created an analysis to help with this that they would be willing to share? The query that was supplied looked like this:

    SELECT prh.requisition_number
    ,prl.line_number
    ,prl.line_status
    ,prl.req_po_instance_id
    ,prl.reqs_in_pool_flag

    ,prh.emergency_po_number
    ,prl.reqtopo_automation_failed
    ,prl.reqtopo_auto_failed_reason
    ,msg.context AS failed_reason_text
    ,DECODE(NVL2(prh.EMERGENCY_PO_NUMBER, 1, - 1), 1, prh.SOLDTO_LE_ID, - 1,
    NULL) AS SOLDTO_LE_ID
    ,prh.pcard_id
    ,prl.line_type_id
    ,prl.pcard_flag
    ,prl.requisition_header_id

PO PDF in Language of SupplierAnswered45.0

PO PDF in Language of Supplier
    Summary:
PO PDF in Language of Supplier
    Content:

    Hi,

I'm looking for the functionality to have the PO PDF print depending on the Supplier (address) language.

Currently I've made a default template in French under the locale 'English', a template in Dutch under locale 'Dutch' and a template in French under the locale 'French'.

The Supplier address language is Dutch.

When viewing the PDF on a PO for this supplier, it keeps taking a French version, because the user preference language is in French?

Is it not supported to have PO PDF based on Supplier language?

    Thanks.

Customizing PDF Reports Using BI Publisher5.0
Topic posted July 24, 2019 by Mehnaz RahmanRed Ribbon: 250+ Points, tagged Business Intelligence, FAQ, How-To, Questionnaire, Tip in Procurement > Supplier Qualification Management public
    Title:
Customizing PDF Reports Using BI Publisher
    Content:

Supplier Qualification’s seeded BIP reports like Supplier Qualification Questionnaire PDF, Supplier Registration Questionnaire PDF can be customized using the BI publisher by using the customization feature. Upon selecting the option for a report, BI Publisher creates a copy of the report in the "Custom" folder. This custom copy is linked internally to the original report with the same underlying data model. User can customize the custom copy of the report and select it as default report, leaving the original report intact. When a request to run the report is initiated, whether from the BI Publisher catalog or through an application process, BI Publisher detects the customized version and runs it. Refer to the attachment for steps to customize a report.

    Important Notes:

    1. To use customize feature a folder named "Custom" must exist directly under Shared Folders. If the Custom folder is not seeded in application, an Administrator can create it.
    2. To customize the report user must be granted BI Author role (or a role that includes the permission oracle.bi.publisher.developReport).
    3. To read the report in custom folder, user must be granted BI Consumer role.
    4. The Customize option is not available through the /analytics URL used to access Oracle BI Enterprise Edition (for example: http://hostname.com:7001/analytics).
    5. To view Customize option you must access BI Publisher through the /xmlpserver URL (for example: http://hostname.com:7001/xmlpserver).
    6. It’s not recommended to modify the original reports because any modifications are overwritten with a patch that updates the original report. Follow the Customization Feature for more details.

Invoke web service - BI agent or action1

    Title:
Invoke web service - BI agent or action
    Summary:
Can we use Supplier Model Web service (SOAP) with "Invoke Web Service"
    Content:

    Hello guys!

I was trying to use invoke web service in an BI agent, but keep getting the error:
Action rerun ID 8ACE181585706CF2CB0AA9D84431733D, execution service ID ea681ade-e0e3-4318-a27b-9a79ec6e03ea:Error invoking web service SupplierService at endpoint https://******.fa.em2.oraclecloud.com:443/fscmService/SupplierServiceV2
Client received SOAP Fault from server : InvalidSecurityToken : The security token is not valid.

    Steps:

    1. Create an analysis

    2. Create an BI agent

    3. Add Invoke web service to BI agent

    4. Run BI agent returns error

I'm using SupplierServiceV2 web service call which is functional when used through SOAP UI or PLSQL call. Main difference is that with SOAP UI or PLSQL I'm sending credentials of user which can use SupplierServiceV2. This is what I can identify as a problem, but don't know how to resolve. In BI "Invoke web service" doesn't have an option to set credentials for a web service.

I did find some notes in the documentation that something has to be set in the security to browse web services, but we don't have access to web logic in SaaS sourcing and I'm not sure that browsing web services will help.

I'm attaching screentshot of my steps.

    Zoran
