    Content:

    Hi All,

I have heard new DB adapter is being rolled out that won't need an agent to be installed on Cloud DB, Does that mean that DB agent timeout of 240 seconds won't be valid going further?

Have any have tried this new DB adapter?

    Thanks

Oracle Cloud HCM to EBS On-Premise Payroll Integration with ICS
    Summary:
How to get data from Oracle Cloud HCM to Send to EBS On-Premise with ICS
    Content:

    Hi,

I am new to Cloud and ICS. I need to build integration between Cloud HCM and EBS On-Premise to get Employee Information from Cloud to On-Premise to run the Payroll.

We have created the EBS Agent and Exposed the Rest API's and created the Connection using the EBS Adapter in ICS. I have also created the Cloud HCM Adapter connection.

I need to know what service do I need to Use on the Cloud HCM adapter to retrieve the employee information to map and send to EBS.

    Your assistance is appreciated.

    Regards

    Cariin Webb

    Content:

    Hi All,

When outbound interface happens from EBS to OIC, does/should the traffic from EBS go directly to OIC through proxy server without involving OIC agent?

Or both inbound and outbound traffics must go via OIC agent only?

    Please provide clarification.

    Thanks,,

Pull specific File from Agent server leveraging File Adapter3

Pull specific File from Agent server leveraging File Adapter
    Content:

I am working on two integrations the first one writes a file on a server using the file adapter and also inserts in a database table the name of the file that you just created.

In the integration two using the file adapter as trigger performs the operation 'File polling' here is where the interesting thing begins because I just want to get the file created in the first integration
That's why in the second integration after placing the trigger I invoke the database where I save the file name and add a switch object to make the comparison where I establish that if the name obtained from the file adapter is equal to the field of the database table then write your content in another FTP directory (filename and content file).

I do not get any errors when making this comparison however the comparison is only done once but according to my understanding the comparison should be made for each file that the file adapter is reading.

I tried adding a for-each to perform the comparison for each read file however it marks me an error (The select node (InboundFileHeaderType) is not repeating.)

Runtime Fault/Exception Handling in OIC (Oracle SOA...3

Runtime Fault/Exception Handling in OIC (Oracle SOA Fault Policy Functionality?)
    Summary:
Is Oracle SOA Fault Policy Functionality also present in OIC? Especially handling runtime fault on server side
    Content:

    Hello OIC Gurus,

Oracle SOA has this Fault Policy Functionality, controlling actions as faults arise, especially recoverable errors (re-try instances). May I know if this feature is also available in OIC? (both user-managed and autonomous OIC). If none, I know leveraging the OIC REST API (retrieve and resubmit error instances) is a feasible option, but do we have another workaround at the moment to attain this functionality? (like raising Cloud Support request for fault-policy configuration?)

Appreciate all your inputs on this.

    Thanks,
    Moon

    Select statement with DB2 connector doesn't return...Answered85.0

    Title:
Select statement with DB2 connector doesn't return anything to map
    Summary:
Using the DB2 connector to connect to DB2 over port 446, select statement validates and generates and xsd but there is not outbound mapping.
    Content:
I administer a test and production customer managed OIC environment 18.2.5. We have an on premise connectivity agent that we use for a majority of our integrations. We have an AS400 that uses DB2 as our main ERP. I can connect to it successfully over port 446 (that's the standard port for DB2 on the as400 not 5000, shouldn't matter though). When I created an integration invoking the DB2 adapter using a simple select statement the it validates the query and generates the XSD, but the outbound mapping does not show anything to map to. Has anyone experienced this issue? In our Java applications we connect directly to the database using a jt400 jdbc driver. We had an issue with connecting to MySQL until I found a special driver and added it to the agenthome/third-party/lib folder. I tried to add the jt400 driver to that folder and restart, no fix. This is turning into a huge issue. On the old forum someone told me the DB2 adapter does not allow select statements, but I haven't been able to find that stated in the documentation.i haven't placed a SR yet because we have several open and I'm the only technical person to manage them currently. If I could find my own solution I'd prefer so that I don't clutter Oracle with tickets then become unresponsive.
