    Hi all

As per below blogs,SOA Suite adapter is available in OIC.

Any idea how to get this connection available in existing OIC instance ?

Do we need to raise SR or wait for updates

Read a file from an FTP server using file adapter.
    Content:

    Hi everyone,

I am working on an integration to read an FTP file I was previously working with the FTP adapter and this worked without problem but we have changed the server and due to security the only option they gave us was to use the file adapter.
I created a small exercise to read a file but without success when I activate the integration it shows me a WSDL that when opening it tells me the error: "Error 503 - Service Unavailable
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol - HTTP / 1.1:
    503 Service Unavailable "

Any opinions and comments are grateful.

    Regards,

ICS Agent- Message not received within 240 seconds of wait...35.0

    Hi,

Using ICS DB Adapter i query a onpremise oracle database table via  an ics agent.I am successful (more than 15000 records) if my table column count less than 10 but for a table where i have 60 columns where i need all field values when queried for 250 records things work out fine with no issue but when query more than 250 records it fails with following message. I understand ICS Agent default timeout property is 240sec.Is there a way to increase this limit.Otherwise only left out option is read records in chunks which actually makes my integration complex because downstream i need to build a xml file to be placed in a ftp location.

I am using db adapter execute sql query (select * from table) for this....

ICS: Agent not showing in DB Connection Agent Confguration...Answered45.0

ICS: Agent not showing in DB Connection Agent Confguration after installing the On-Premise Agent
    Summary:
The agent is not showing in the 'Configure Agents' interface when doing DB Connection setup in ICS
    Content:

    Hi,

We are using ICS Standard Edition, Version: 18.2.3.0.1 (180419.0000.1063).

The connectivity agent group we created is visible in 'Agents' page, which has 1 newly linked Agent (ID: PLOACS.AGENT15700) as shown in one of the screenshot (ICS_AgentsList.JPG) after being installed on our server where the DB resides. I tried to create a DB Connection and when I scroll down and access the 'Configure Agent', it is NOT showing on the list as shown in one of the screenshots (ICS_DBConnection_NoAgentsFound.JPG). I have also attached the Agent Installation Log in case it might help. (LOG-cloud-connectivity-agent-installation.txt).

Any idea what could have caused this issue to arise? or anything I missed to setup?

    Thanks,

    Moon

Integration with HCM Extract Run & Retrieve Flow2
Topic posted December 15, 2018 by Moon Ray LoSilver Medal: 2,000+ Points, tagged Adapters, Agent, API, Cloud, Connection, Database, Integration, Mapping, Orchestration, PaaS, SAP, SOAP, Web Services in Integration > Integration public
    Title:
Integration with HCM Extract Run & Retrieve Flow
    Summary:
This is to take note the best practices to observe when integrating OIC with HCM's Extract Run-Retrieve Flow
    Content:

    Hi Team,

I'd like to ask for inputs from the group with regards to integrating HCM's Run-Retrieve Extract Flow with Oracle Integration Cloud. I have attached the sample OIC flow (initial design) we've come up with. Here are the requirements:

    1) Integrating HCM Core HR Data through Extract with SAP Payroll

    2) Sending data every 10minutes (OIC's limit for scheduled integration) from HCM to SAP for data synchronization.

    3) Extract Data sent are 'Changes Only' data, we are only sending changes in HCM to SAP within the 10-minute period (not master data).

The attached initial design works fine for above requirements, as far as we've tested it (unfortunately we only have few test data available as of this writing). But there are still concerns though and I'd appreciate any inputs from the group to enhance the design:

    1) What if we process a full, master data extract run and takes longer time than the current delta-only run? (Will it raise timeout issue on OIC side? What's the runtime limit on OIC for every integration run?)

    2) Anyone have tried the callback option for SOAP WS? How does it work for Extract RunRetrieve Process?

We want to consider a design that can handle both master and delta-only extract data in OIC. Appreciate all your inputs.

    Thanks ahead,

    Moon

Issue Activating ICS Integration - DB Adpater Issue75.0

    Title:
Issue Activating ICS Integration - DB Adpater Issue
    Summary:
Facing Issue while Activating ICS Integration with DB adapter configured.
    Content:

We are now facing issue in activating and ICS integration with DB adapter. I'll list the steps and the output for better understanding:

    1. Installed a connectivity agent in ICS db server as we will connect to user defined tables in ICS. Below is the output that the agent is running fine:

    [oracle@DevICSDb-Multichoice oic_connectivity_agent]$ pwd
    /home/oracle/devDBCS_agent/oic_connectivity_agent
    [oracle@DevICSDb-Multichoice oic_connectivity_agent]$ ls
    agenthome  connectivityagent.jar  InstallerProfile.cfg  oic_connectivity_agent.zip  pid
    [oracle@DevICSDb-Multichoice oic_connectivity_agent]$ java -jar connectivityagent.jar &
    [1] 26966
[oracle@DevICSDb-Multichoice oic_connectivity_agent]$ Existing Agent installation found... Starting Agent for message processing.
Checking for already running instances of this agent. This might take up to 15 seconds ...
    Initializing the credential store ...
Agent started successfully...Now available for new messages...

Step 2: Created a db connection with required details and test was successful.

Step 3. Created an integration with a SOAP and DB adapter. While conencting the db adpater, the SQL query provided was succesful too.

Step 4. Create the required mapping and tried to activate the integration and got the following error:

[SEVERE] [ThreadID: 1780] [Logger: oracle.cloud.cpi.agent.ActivationCpiCommand] [SRC Class: oracle.cloud.cpi.agent.ActivationCpiCommand; Method: doRequest] Error in performing activation. java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 1

Not sure what's going wrong. Please suggest. We'll try to delete and recreate the agent as the last approach.

    Connecting JDE & OIC
    Content:

    Hello All,

I am trying to research connecting JD Edwards to Oracle Financials using OIC.  I understand there is a JDE Adapter.

    https://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/jdedwards/OBE/Integration/Integration_JDE_ICS/integration_jde_ics.html

I want to know which all JDEdwards Enterprise One 9.2 processes can be triggered using OIC.  I found this link as below, but it doesnot give a summarize view of What is Available ?

    https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=50180:160:69214870813::NO:::&tz=-7%3A00

Other than OIC is there anything else required to Connect to JD Edwards ?

    Thanks,

    Hiten Shah

    Summary:
MySQL adapter cannot connect (needs JDBC jar?) Using On-Prem agent
    Content:

I have an OIC instance with an On-Prem adapter installed within my firewall.  The On-Prem adapter works when I use the various REST and SOAP connections.  However when I set up a connection using the MySQL adapter it fails to connect, saying that I should check the com.jdbc.myswl.driver.  Following that advice I SHH'd into the box and found where location of the driver's for the weblogic server. I see the MySQL connector/j driver is already present (additionally, it already says pre installed on the GUI (underneath the adapter)). I verified that I can access the MySQL box from the box the on prem agent is installed on. The log files do not say anything interesting beyond "cannot connect" and to check if the jar driver is installed.  Does anyone have any thoughts?
