How to read file using ICS file adapter63.0

    Title:
How to read file using ICS file adapter
    Summary:
Read a file from an FTP server using file adapter.
    Content:

    Hi everyone,

I am working on an integration to read an FTP file I was previously working with the FTP adapter and this worked without problem but we have changed the server and due to security the only option they gave us was to use the file adapter.
I created a small exercise to read a file but without success when I activate the integration it shows me a WSDL that when opening it tells me the error: "Error 503 - Service Unavailable
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol - HTTP / 1.1:
    503 Service Unavailable "

Any opinions and comments are grateful.

    Regards,

    Bartholomew

Oracle Integration Cloud's Exception/Error Handling & Recoverable Instance
    Content:

    Hi Team,

I have noticed that NOT ALL instances that faulted can be recovered or resubmitted for reprocessing - based from y experience, I have resubmitted/recovered some (scheduled integration) and unable for others (app-driven integration)

I'd like to know as to which specific conditions would an instance considered as recoverable when fault encountered.

    Thanks ahead,

    Moon

    Content:

    Hi All,

When outbound interface happens from EBS to OIC, does/should the traffic from EBS go directly to OIC through proxy server without involving OIC agent?

Or both inbound and outbound traffics must go via OIC agent only?

    Please provide clarification.

    Thanks,,

Difference between the connectivity agent execution
    Content:

    Hi Team,

I wonder how the connectivity agent of OIC is much lighter than the ICS agent .

ICS agent is almost 1.7 GB and OIC is just 140MB. What makes this difference?

Can anyone explain the internal architecture?

Is still the weblogic running behind the scenes for OIC?

    Thanks,

How to get data from Oracle Cloud HCM to Send to EBS On-Premise with ICS
    Content:

    Hi,

I am new to Cloud and ICS. I need to build integration between Cloud HCM and EBS On-Premise to get Employee Information from Cloud to On-Premise to run the Payroll.

We have created the EBS Agent and Exposed the Rest API's and created the Connection using the EBS Adapter in ICS. I have also created the Cloud HCM Adapter connection.

I need to know what service do I need to Use on the Cloud HCM adapter to retrieve the employee information to map and send to EBS.

    Your assistance is appreciated.

OIC Agent Installation - UnknownHostException from DbaaS server
    Content:

We had followed https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/integration-cloud/integrations-user/index.html and installed agent on the dbaas server by connecting opc user.
It was working well, suddenly we noticed the agent went down and when we tried to restart the agent, it failed with error -
    Client.ClientHandlerException: java.net.UnknownHostException: <xxxx>.integration.ocp.oraclecloud.com

It seems it is not able to connect to oic_URL. If I follow the same steps on my local machine, the agent starts successfully.

As we need to keep the agent running in background from a server for all-time availability, can anyone provide some suggestion to overcome the issue? I hope a separate proxy server is not required as all the components belong to same cloud account.

    Summary:
JMS connectivity issue for manage server port
    Content:

We are trying to connect to manage server port for weblogic server but are getting the below issue.

Test connection failed. Please ensure you are providing correct Weblogic JMS Admin host and port. Error Details : While trying to lookup 'weblogic.management.mbeanservers.domainruntime' didn't find subcontext 'management'. Resolved 'weblogic'

The same connection for admin port is working fine. We tried to place few libraries and restarted the agent but have got a different error now.

    • java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class weblogic.security.SubjectUtils

Any idea what all libraries need to be added for the weblogic JMS connection to work for manage server port.

    Thank you.

ICS: Agent not showing in DB Connection Agent Confguration...Answered45.0

    Title:
ICS: Agent not showing in DB Connection Agent Confguration after installing the On-Premise Agent
    Summary:
The agent is not showing in the 'Configure Agents' interface when doing DB Connection setup in ICS
    Content:

    Hi,

We are using ICS Standard Edition, Version: 18.2.3.0.1 (180419.0000.1063).

The connectivity agent group we created is visible in 'Agents' page, which has 1 newly linked Agent (ID: PLOACS.AGENT15700) as shown in one of the screenshot (ICS_AgentsList.JPG) after being installed on our server where the DB resides. I tried to create a DB Connection and when I scroll down and access the 'Configure Agent', it is NOT showing on the list as shown in one of the screenshots (ICS_DBConnection_NoAgentsFound.JPG). I have also attached the Agent Installation Log in case it might help. (LOG-cloud-connectivity-agent-installation.txt).

Any idea what could have caused this issue to arise? or anything I missed to setup?

    Thanks,

    Moon

    Title:
    OIC Integration Cloud:Connectivity Agent Installation
    Summary:
    OIC Connectivity Agent weblogic details
    Content:

    Hi,

I had installed an OIC connectivity agent on another DBCS instance to do a quick connection testing with my IC home instance. The agent got successfully installed and reflected on the IC home.

But after some time, the monitoring tab displayed the agent connection in red. When I tried to search the startAgent.sh file to restart the agent on DBCS instance, there was no such file.

Can i not install OIC agent on DBCS?If yes, then how do i start and stop the agent if there is no domain created.

    Thanks
