Unable to fetch custom fields in the Oracle Field cloud service(OFSC) OIC adapter
    Summary:
Unable to fetch custom fields in the Oracle Field cloud service(OFSC) OIC adapter
    Content:

    Hi All,

I'm trying to fetch the list of activities using OIC OFSC Adapter, I'm able to see the standard fields in the response mapper activity, but not able to find the custom fields in the response mapper activity.

As a workaround, I'm using REST service connection to fetch the list of activities which returns both standard and custom fields from Oracle Field service cloud.

The same REST approach I'm using for updating custom fields also.

Please let me know if we can fetch/update the custom fields in OIC OFSC adapter itself.

    Thanks in advance,

    Felix

        Hi Nagesh,

Thanks. I tried both refreshing the connection and creating the new OIC OFSC connection. Neither of them is working.

        Regards,

        Felix

          Hi Felix,

As far as i understand the custom fields will not be available for mapping.

I had the same issue where the custom EFF fields are not visible in the mapping section. i have used the below syntax and was able to retrieve the value in the custom field.

          $GetMaxOrderQty/nsmpr12:findItemResponse/nsmpr12:result/nsmpr34:ItemEffCategory/*[local-name()='ItemEFFBWebStoreOrgPrivateVO']/*[local-name()='maxOrderQuantityForWebStore']

          Thanks,

          Nagesh.

            Hi Nagesh,

Thank you. I'll try to use the above approach. I have tried to use the custom field in the update activity operation, but it is not allowing to use custom fields in the update activity. Attached the screenshot with this email.

"Mapping is not associated with a valid target schema. It may be removed by selecting Remove Invalid Mapping from the context menu. End of popup content".

            Regards,

            Felix
