    The job role/duty that is neded for someone to request a new supplier.

    Can someone tell me what is the security  job role/duty that is needed in order to request a new supplier be added?

      You can configure a role that inherits Procurement Requester (or Preparer) and add the functional privilege: Submit Supplier Registration ( POZ_SUBMIT_SUPPLIER_REGISTRATION_PRIV ). This will allow them to access the task "Request New Supplier" from the Purchase Requisitions landing page's More Tasks menu.
